This paper presents a new neural network‐boundary integral approach for analysis of steady viscous fluid flows. Indirect radial basis function networks (IRBFNs) which perform better than element‐based methods for function interpolation, are introduced into the BEM scheme to represent the variations of velocity and traction along the boundary from the nodal values. In order to assess the effect of IRBFNs, the other features used in the present work remain the same as those used in the standard BEM. For example, Picard‐type scheme is utilized in the iterative procedure to deal with the non‐linear convective terms while the calculation of volume integrals and velocity gradients are based on the linear finite element‐based method. The proposed IRBFN‐BEM is verified on the driven cavity viscous flow problem and can achieve a moderate Reynolds number of 1400 using a relatively coarse uniform mesh. The results obtained such as the velocity profiles along the horizontal and vertical centrelines as well as the properties of the primary vortex are in very good agreement with the benchmark solution. Furthermore, the secondary vortices are also captured by the present method. Thus, it appears that an ability to represent the boundary solution accurately can significantly improve the overall solution accuracy of the BEM. Copyright © 2003 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.  相似文献

A free-breathing 3D cine steady-state free precession (SSFP) technique was developed using the z intensity-weighted position (ZIP) which is the center of mass of a projection along the slice direction as a respiratory gating signal. The ZIP signal was continuously acquired using a slice encoded k-space center sampling in every TR. The performance of this gating method was compared with a method using the k-space center signal (KC) and with conventional 2D breath-hold cine SSFP in healthy subjects by measuring image quality and left ventricular function. The preliminary data obtained here demonstrated that the ZIP gating method provided superior respiratory motion artifact suppression when compared to the KC gating and provided left ventricular ejection fractions, and end-diastolic and end-systolic volumes similar to those obtained with the breath-hold 2D cine SSFP acquisition.  相似文献

This paper establishes an exact formula for the Fréchet coderivative and some estimates for the Mordukhovich coderivative of the linearly perturbed normal cone mappings in reflexive Banach spaces. In comparison with Nam (2010) [5], Qui (in press) [8], Qui (2011) [7], Trang (2010) [9], the major advantage of our investigation is that here neither the linear independence condition nor the positively linear independence condition are used. Thus, no assumption on the normal vectors of the active constraints at the point in question is needed. Some aspects of the preceding results (Henrion, Mordukhovich and Nam (2010) [3], Nam (2009) [5], Qui (2011) [7], Yao and Yen (2009) [10], Yao and Yen (2009) [11]) are developed.  相似文献

A set-constrained optimization problem and a mathematical programming problem are considered. We assume that the sublevel sets of the involving functions are convex only at the point under question and hence these functions are not assumed quasiconvex. Using the two star subdifferentials and the adjusted subdifferential, we establish optimality conditions for usual minima and strict minima. Our results contain and improve some recent ones in the literature. Examples are provided to explain the advantages of each of our results.  相似文献

Graphene, a novel class of carbon nanostructures, possesses an ultrahigh specific surface area, and thus has great potentials for the use as sorbent materials. We herein demonstrate the use of graphene as a novel adsorbent for solid-phase extraction (SPE). Eight chlorophenols (CPs) as model analytes were extracted on a graphene-packed SPE cartridge, and then eluted with alkaline methanol. The concentrations in the eluate were determined by HPLC with multi-wavelength UV detection. Under the optimized conditions, high sensitivity (detection limits 0.1-0.4 ng/mL) and good reproducibility of CPs (RSDs 2.2-7.7% for run-to-run assays) were achieved. Comparative studies showed that graphene was superior to other adsorbents including C18 silica, graphitic carbon, single- and multi-walled carbon nanotubes for the extraction of CPs. Some other advantages of graphene as SPE adsorbent, such as good compatibility with various organic solvents, good reusability and no impact of sorbent drying, have also been demonstrated. The proposed method was successfully applied to the analysis of tap and river water samples with recoveries ranging from 77.2 to 116.6%. This work not only proposes a useful method for environmental water sample pretreatment, but also reveals great potentials of graphene as an excellent sorbent material in analytical processes.  相似文献

The paper is concerned with the propagation of Rayleigh waves in an elastic half-space with impedance boundary conditions. The half-space is assumed to be orthotropic and monoclinic with the symmetry plane x3=0x3=0. The main aim of the paper is to derive explicit secular equations of the wave. For the orthotropic case, the secular equation is obtained by employing the traditional approach. It is an irrational equation. From this equation, a new version of the secular equation for isotropic materials is derived. For the monoclinic case, the method of polarization vector is used for deriving the secular equation and it is an algebraic equation of eighth-order. When the impedance parameters vanish, this equation coincides with the secular equation of Rayleigh waves with traction-free boundary conditions.  相似文献

The rhizomes of Hedychium coronarium have been used for the treatment of inflammation, skin diseases, headache, and sharp pain due to rheumatism in traditional medicine. From this plant, two new labdanes, 15-methoxylabda-8(17),11E,13-trien-16,15-olide (1) and 16-methoxylabda-8(17),11E,13-trien-15,16-olide (3), named hedycoronens A and B, as well as four known, labda-8(17),11,13-trien-16,15-olide (2), 16-hydroxylabda-8(17),11,13-trien-15,16-olide (4), coronarin A (5), and corronarin E (6) were isolated. Their chemical structures were elucidated by mass, 1D- and 2D-nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy. They were evaluated for inhibitory effects on the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in bone marrow-derived dendritic cells. Among of them, compounds 1-3 were potent inhibitors of LPS-stimulated interleukin-6 (IL-6) and IL-12 p40, with IC(50) ranging from 4.1±0.2 to 9.1±0.3?μM. Compounds 1 and 3 showed moderate inhibitory activity on the tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) production with IC(50) values of 46.0±1.3 and 12.7±0.3?μM. The remains of compounds showed inactivity. These results warrant further studies concerning the potential anti-inflammatory benefits of labdane-diterpenes from H. coronarium.  相似文献

Copper(II) acetate mediated coupling reactions between 2,6-bis(azidomethyl)pyridine or 2-picolylazide and two terminal alkynes afford 1,2,3-triazolyl-containing ligands L(1)-L(6). These ligands contain various nitrogen-based Lewis basic sites including two different pyridyls, two nitrogen atoms on a 1,2,3-triazolyl ring, and the azido group. A rich structural diversity, which includes mononuclear and dinuclear complexes as well as one-dimensional polymers, was observed in the copper(II) complexes of L(1)-L(6). The preference of copper(II) to two common bidentate 1,2,3-triazolyl-containing coordination sites was investigated using isothermal titration calorimetry and, using zinc(II) as a surrogate, in (1)H NMR titration experiments. The magnetic interactions between the copper(II) centers in three dinuclear complexes were analyzed via temperature-dependent magnetic susceptibility measurements and high-frequency electron paramagnetic resonance spectroscopy. The observed magnetic superexchange is strongly dependent on the orientation of magnetic orbitals of the copper(II) ions and can be completely turned off if these orbitals are arranged orthogonal to each other. This work demonstrates the versatility of 1,2,3-triazolyl-containing polyaza ligands in forming metal coordination complexes of a rich structural diversity and interesting magnetic properties.  相似文献
