The assisted transfer of heavy metal ions by interfacial complexation with 4′-morpholinoacetophenone-4-phenyl-3-thiosemicarbazone
(MAPPT) at the interface between two immiscible electrolyte solutions (ITIES) was studied by cyclic voltammetry. The voltammograms
obtained across the water/1,2-dichloroethane interface using the MAPPT ligand in the organic phase shows that the assisted
metal ion transfers have different nature for different ions. The quasi-reversible voltammetric peak of the Cd2+ ion was obtained and is discussed in detail. The dependence of the half-wave transfer potential on MAPPT concentration showed
that the equilibrium is effectively displaced towards a 1:3 (metal:ligand) stoichiometry with an association constant of log

Diphenylgermanium diphenylsilicon oxide and dimethylgermanium diphenylsilicon oxide [(R2Ge)O(Ph2Si)O]2 (R = Ph, Me) have been synthesized by treatment of diorganogermanium dihalides with diphenyldihydroxysilane. The X-ray analysis showed nonplanar eight-membered silicon-germanium-oxygen rings which are more puckered than those of cyclotetrasiloxanes. The partition function of non-abelian gauge theory is expressed, in the continuum limit, as a sum over surfaces which are swept out by the propagation of electric flux rings. Each flux surface is described by a two-dimensional continuum gauge theory, confined to that particular surface. The gauge field can then be integrated out; however, for closed and intersecting surfaces interesting complications arise, which reveal an algebraic structure typical of strong-coupling lattice gauge theory. 相似文献

The main focus of the call center research has been on models that assume all input distributions are known in queuing theory which gives birth to staffing and the estimation of operating characteristics. Studies investigating uncertainty of the input distributions and its implications on call center management are scarce. This study attempts to fill this gap by analyzing the call center service distribution behavior by using Bayesian parametric and semi-parametric mixture models that are capable of exhibiting non-standard behavior such as multi-modality, skewness and excess kurtosis motivated by real call center data. The study is motivated by the observation that different customer profiles might require different agent skill sets which can create additional sources of uncertainty in the behavior of service distributions. In estimating model parameters, Markov chain Monte Carlo methods such as the Gibbs sampler and the reversible jump algorithms are presented and the implications of using such models on system performance and staffing are discussed. 相似文献
