We prepared samples of cubic γ-MoNx (x∼0.5) by high-pressure-high-temperature synthesis. N atom site occupancies within the defect rock salt structure were determined from time-of-flight neutron diffraction and powder X-ray diffraction data by Rietveld analysis. The results show that N atoms occupy only octahedral sites within the structure. The semi-metallic compound is a superconductor, with determined by SQUID magnetometry. The compressibility of the material was determined by synchrotron X-ray diffraction measurements at high pressure in the diamond anvil cell. The vibrational density of states was studied by Raman scattering spectroscopy. 相似文献

The photoluminescence (PL) properties of ZrO2 have been measured at different temperatures between 7 and 300 K, using various kinds of ZrO2 specimens: bulk crystal melt-grown by a large solar furnace, thermally oxidized zirconium plate (ZrO2 film crystal on Zr ) and nanocrystals (surface area: 35–45m2/g, diameter: 20–30 nm). The results clarify the deep and shallow energy level structures in the energy gap. Reversible UV-laser-light-induced spectral changes are observed for all of the specimens in different specimen-atmospheres (vacuum and O2 gas). The results elucidate the defect-effects of the PL properties and the PL enhancement mechanism in ZrO2 nanocrystals. 相似文献

The effect of metal ions on the conformation of thymine-containing poly-D-lysine was studied by CD spectra in aqueous solution. Of the metal ions studied, only copper(II) ion affected the conformation of nucleic acid analogs. This paper describes the electrocatalytic oxidation of amines on TEMPO (2,2,6,6‐tetramethylpiperidine‐1‐oxyl)‐modified electrodes prepared by electrochemical copolymerization of TEMPO precursor containing pyrrole side chain and 2,2′‐bithiophene. The modified electrode exhibits electrocatalytic activity for the oxidation of primary and secondary amines. Cyclic voltammetric studies showed that the peak current of the cyclic voltammogram increased linearly with increasing concentration of amine in the sample solution. 相似文献

An organic salt composed 9,10-bis(4-aminophenyl)anthracene and hypophosphorous acid emits yellow-green fluorescence in the crystalline state. The salt also gives water inclusion crystal which provides blue-green fluorescence. Atomic‐resolution imaging of beam‐sensitive biominerals is extremely challenging, owing to their fairly complex structures and the damage caused by electron irradiation. Herein, we overcome these difficulties by performing aberration‐corrected electron microscopy with low‐dose imaging techniques, and report the successful direct atomic‐resolution imaging of every individual atomic column in the complex fluorapatite structure of shark tooth enameloid, which can be of paramount importance for teeth in general. We demonstrate that every individual atomic column in shark tooth enameloid can be spatially resolved, and has a complex fluorapatite structure. Furthermore, ab initio calculations show that fluorine atoms can be covalently bound to the surrounding calcium atoms, which improves understanding of their caries‐reducing effects in shark teeth. 相似文献
