Cycloisomalto-heptaose (CI-7) and cycloisomalto-octaose (CI-8) are two novel cyclodextrans. Treatment with C60 or C70 by kneading leads to the formation of four distinct water-soluble inclusion complexes: CI-7/C60 (2: 1), CI-8/C60 (2: 1), CI-7/C70 (2: 1) and CI-8/C70 (2: 1). Their formation and structures have been examined by UV vis spectroscopy, X-ray powder diffraction and fluorescence spectral studies. The reaction is a reversible process. 相似文献

The present study is an investigation of a reversible thermal color change induced in lamella hybrids of poly(diacetylenecarboxylates) incorporated in layered double hydroxide (LDH) nanosheets. These poly-[m,n]/LDH hybrids prepared by the photo- or gamma-ray-induced polymerization of diacetylenecarboxylates, i.e., CH(3)(CH(2))(m)()(-)(1)CC-CC(CH(2))(n)()(-)(1)CO(2)(-) (mono-[m,n]), and intercalated in LDH lamella sheets, were observed to develop colors ranging from yellow to blue. The change in color was found to depend greatly on the alkyl carbon numbers of the mono-[m,n] (m,n = 10,11; 5,11; 10,5; 16,1) values. Moreover, the conformational alignment of the mono-[m,n] within the LDH was observed to be a crucial factor in color development, which was greatly affected by the intercalation degrees and extent of poly(ene-yne) linkage elongation of the polymers. For the poly-[m,n]/LDH hybrids investigated, a reversible color change was found to occur repeatedly and remarkably for the poly-[10,11]/LDH hybrid. This color change occurred at temperatures between ca. 20 and 80 degrees C back and forth from purple red to bright orange, in stark contrast to the irreversible color change for poly-[10,11] without LDH. Moreover, DSC and Raman spectroscopic studies of the LDH hybrids showed that the thermochromic temperature corresponded to the phase transition temperature of 80 degrees C. XRD analysis also indicated that the poly-[m,n]/LDH hybrid could retain its lamella structure during such thermochromic color changes, enabling conformational recovery in the polymer chains by a cooling down of the hybrids to temperatures lower than the transition temperature, while the nonhybrid poly-[10,11] powders exhibited an irreversible color change at 60 degrees C, above which the polymer powder turned amorphous. 相似文献

Biosensors have been developed to determine the concentration of specific compounds in situ. They are already widely employed as a practical technology in the clinical and healthcare fields. Recently, another concept of biosensing has been receiving attention: biosensing for the evaluation of molecular potency. The development of this novel concept has been supported by the development of related technologies, as such as molecular design, molecular biology (genetic engineering) and cellular/tissular engineering. This review is addresses this new concept of biosensing and its application to the evaluation of the potency of chemicals in biological systems, in the field of cellular/tissular engineering. The electrochemistry of Hf(IV) and the electrodeposition of Al–Hf alloys were examined in the Lewis acidic 66.7–33.3 mol% aluminum chloride-1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride molten salt containing HfCl4. When cyclic staircase voltammetry was carried out at a platinum disk electrode in this melt, the deposition and stripping waves for Al shifted to negative and positive potentials, respectively, suggesting that aluminum stripping is more difficult due to the formation of Al–Hf alloys. Al–Hf alloy electrodeposits containing ~13 at.% Hf were obtained on Cu rotating wire and cylinder electrodes. The Hf content in the Al–Hf alloy deposits depended on the HfCl4 concentration in the melt, the electrodeposition temperature, and the applied current density. The deposits were composed of dense crystals and were completely chloride-free. The chloride-induced pitting corrosion potential of the resulting Al–Hf alloys was approximately +0.30 V against pure aluminum when the Hf content was above 10 at.%. 相似文献

We have investigated the nonradiative deactivation process of malachite green in the singlet excited states, S(1) and S(2), by high-level ab initio quantum chemical calculations using the CASPT2//CASCF approach. The deactivation pathways connecting the Franck-Condon region and conical intersection regions are identified. The initial population in the S(1) state is on a flat surface and the relaxation involves a rotation of phenyl rings, which leads the molecule to reach the conical intersection between the S(1) and S(0) states, where it efficiently decays back to the ground state. There exists a small barrier connecting the Franck-Condon and conical intersection regions on the S(1) potential energy surface. The decay mechanism from the S(2) state also involves the twisting motion of phenyl rings. In contrast to the excitation to the S(1) state, the initial population is on a downhill ramp potential and the barrierless relaxation through the rotation of substituted phenyl rings is expected. During the course of relaxation, the molecule switches to the S(1) state at the conical intersection between S(2) and S(1), and then it decays back to the ground state through the intersection between S(1) and S(0). In relaxation from both S(1) and S(2), large distortion of phenyl rings is required for the ultrafast nonradiative decay to the ground state. 相似文献

Many researchers have studied variants of queueing systems with vacations. Most of them have dealt with M/G/1 systems and have explicitly analyzed some of their performance measures, such as queue length, waiting time, and so on. Recently, studies on queueing systems whose arrival processes are not Poissonian have appeared. We consider a single server queueing system with multiple vacations and E-limited service discipline, where messages arrive to the system according to a switched Poisson process. First, we consider the joint probability density functions of the queue length and the elapsed service time or the elapsed vacation time. We derive the equations for these pdf's, which include a finite number of unknown values. Using Rouché's theorem, we determine the values from boundary conditions. A combined anion-exchange-spectrophotometric method has been developed for the determination of vanadium in silicate rocks. A rock sample weighing about 0.1 g is decomposed with a mixture of sulphuric and hydrofluoric acids and after removal of HF the residue is taken up with dilute sulphuric acid. This solution is adjusted to be 0.05M in sulphuric acid and contain 0.3% hydrogen peroxide, and is passed through a column of Amberlite CG 400 (sulphate form). The sorbed vanadium is eluted with 30 ml of 1M hydrochloric acid. The effluent is evaporated to dryness, made 0.1M in hydrochloric acid and 3% in hydrogen peroxide content, and passed through a column of Amberlite CG 400 (chloride form) to get rid of accompanying thorium and zirconium. Vanadium is stripped by elution with 20 ml of 1M hydrochloric acid and subsequently determined spectrophotometrically with 4-(2-pyridylazo)resorcinol. The detection limit is 0.4 ppm. 相似文献
