Overall homogeneity of temperature is a condition for thermal equilibrium, but, as is demonstrated by classical molecular dynamics simulations, the local temperatures of atoms in small, isolated crystalline clusters in microcanonical equilibrium are not uniform. The effective temperature determined from individual atomic velocity decreases with distance from the cluster center. It is argued that these effects are due to the conservation of angular and translational momentum. A general microcanonical expression is derived for the spatial dependence of the statistics of the kinetic energies of individual atoms; this fits the numerical observations well.  相似文献

A convenient method for the synthesis of polyamides containing hydroxyl and amino substituents on the aromatic rings of the backbones was developed. These polymers were prepared readily by the chemoselective polycondensation of dicarboxylic acids with diamines with hydroxyl and amino functional groups via the activating agent diphenyl(2,3‐dihydro‐2‐thioxo‐3‐bezoxazolyl)phosphonate. The model reactions were studied in detail to demonstrate the feasibility of chemoselective polycondensation. The direct polycondensation of 5‐hydroxy or 5‐aminoisophthalic acid with 4,4′‐diamino‐4″‐hydroxytriphenylmethane proceeded smoothly under mild conditions and produced the desired polyamides with inherent viscosities up to 0.73 dL · g−1. The polymers obtained were characterized by IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR spectroscopies. The polymers were readily soluble in aprotic polar solvents such as N‐methyl‐2‐pyrrolidinone, N,N‐dimethyl formamide, and dimethyl sulfoxide. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. In the present study, we demonstrated for the first time the immunotoxic effects of organic arsenic compounds in marine animals, namely arsenocholine [AsCho; trimethyl(2-hydroxyethyl)arsonium cation], arsenobetaine [AsBe; the trimethyl(carboxymethyl)arsonium zwitterion] and the tetramethylarsonium ion (TetMA), to murine principal immune effector cells (macrophages and lymphocytes), comparing them with the effects of inorganic arsenicals in vitro . Inorganic arsenicals (arsenite and arsenate) showed strong cytotoxicity to both macrophages and lymphocytes. The concentration of arsenite that reduced the number of surviving cells to 50% of that in untreated controls (IC50) was 3–5 μmol dm−3, and the cytotoxicity of arsenate (IC50=100 μ-1 m mol dm−3) was lower than that of arsenite. Compared with these findings, trimethylarsenic compounds in marine animals, AsCho and AsBe, were less toxic even at a concentration over 10 mmol dm−3 to both macrophages and lymphocytes; however, TetMA had weak, but significant, cytotoxicity to these cells (IC50 was about 6 mmol dm−3).  相似文献

Lewis base catalyzed Mannich-type reaction between trimethylsilyl enol ethers and N-tosylaldimines is described. Nitrogen anions generated from amides or imides such as lithium benzamide or potassium phthalimide are found to be effective Lewis base catalysts in DMF at room temperature to afford the corresponding beta-amino carbonyl compounds in good to high yields; the oxygen anion generated from carboxylic acids such as lithium acetate was also found to be effective in dry DMF. The above-mentioned lithium acetate-catalyzed Mannich-type reaction between aldimines and various trimethylsilyl (TMS) enol ethers such as silyl ketene acetal proceeded smoothly even in water-containing DMF. Then, Lewis base catalyzed three-component Mannich-type reactions of TMS enol ether, tosylamide, and aromatic aldehyde having electron-withdrawing group such as p-nitrobenzaldehyde were investigated. The reaction proceeded smoothly to afford the corresponding beta-amino ester in good yield. Further, ammonium carboxylates such as tetrabutyl ammonium acetate or tetrabutyl ammonium benzoate were found to be more effective Lewis base catalysts in the above-mentioned Mannich-type reaction. The synthesis proceeded in various solvents at lower temperatures. The reaction between aldimines and TMS enol ethers generated from thioester and various ketones such as propiophenone or cyclohexanone also proceeded smoothly to afford the corresponding beta-amino carbonyl compounds in high yields with good to high anti-selectivities.  相似文献

A method for compensating effect of field fluctuation is examined to attain high-resolution NMR spectra with resistive and hybrid magnets. In this method, time dependence of electromotive force induced for a pickup coil attached near a sample is measured synchronously with acquisition of NMR. Observed voltage across the pickup coil is converted to field fluctuation data, which is used to deconvolute NMR signals. The feasibility of the method is studied by (79)Br MAS NMR of KBr under a 30T magnetic field of a hybrid magnet. Twenty single-scan NMR signals were accumulated after the manipulation, resulting in a high-resolution NMR spectrum.  相似文献

A novel method for the preparation of alkyl azides from alcohols by way of oxidation-reduction condensation is described. In this reaction, the sterically-hindered tert-alkyl phosphinites that are prepared from the corresponding alcohols are converted into tert-alkyl azides with almost complete inversion of their stereochemistry: the obtained alkyl azides are then successfully reduced to afford the corresponding amines on treatment with LiAlH4, thus, a versatile method for the preparation of chiral amines from the corresponding chiral alcohols is established.  相似文献

New low-molecular weight gelators based on l-valine and l-isoleucine, which have various terminal groups such as ester, carboxyl, and carboxylate, function as a good organogelator that form an organogel in many organic solvents.
