The bit-error rate (BER) performance of the generalized partial response maximum likelihood with autoregressive (GPRML-AR) channel model system in perpendicular magnetic recording (PMR) channel with thermal decay is obtained. The 128/130(0,16/8) run-length-limited (RLL) code is used as a recording code. The GPR channel consists of the PR1 channel followed by the reduction circuit of predicted noise. The BER performance is evaluated by computer simulation using a thermal decay model. The model has been obtained by using an approximate equation that represents amplitude degradation of the reproducing waveform with elapsed time based on the experimental data for CoPtCr-SiO2 PMR media. The Viterbi detector with an AR channel model is employed. Furthermore, long-term degradation of the required SNR to achieve a BER of 10−4 with elapsed time is obtained and the performance is compared with that of PR1ML system. The results show that the poorer the thermal stability of the medium becomes, the larger the SNR gain of the GPR1ML-AR system over the PR1ML system becomes. The SNR gain also increases with elapsed time.  相似文献

The thermal expansion and low temperature and low temperature specific heat were measured for Y1−xScxMn2. The results are discussed in terms of spin fluctuations and compared with those of Y(Mn1−xAlx)2, which show al local moment character. It is revealed that Y1−xScxMn2 is a typical nearly antiferromagnet in which giant spin fluctuations are thermally excited.  相似文献

By using a quantized theory of non-radiative surface plasmon in a semi-infinite electron gas, where retardation is taken into account, the differential surface loss intensity of electrons in a metal foil is calculated for the case of non-normal incidence of electron to the metal surface. The result shows that the differential surface loss intensity neither has a zero at θ = 0 for the case of normal incidence nor has a zero at a forward direction (θ ≠ 0, φ = 0) for the case of non-normal incidence, whose existences were predicted by electrostatic theories, but diverges as 1/θ at θ = 0 for both cases. It is also shown that, when the angle of incidence is greater than a certain critical value, there is a region of direction to which incident electrons can be scattered by exciting any one of surface plasmons with three different wave vectors.  相似文献

At temperatures below 59 K, coexistence of two types of satellite was observed in reciprocal lattice plane of b1?c1 as expressed by q1 = 0.24b1 and q2 = 0.26b1+0.50c1. On the basis of nesting conditions by these q1 and q2, a feature of the Fermi surface for NbSe3 is discussed.  相似文献

Raman scattering spectra on a layer type compound 3RNbS2 were measured at 300 and 77 K, and three peaks were observed at 382, 325 and 281 cm?1 at 300 K. The vibration modes were analyzed in terms of Bromley's nearest neighbour model, and a good agreement with the experiment was obtained.  相似文献

Low energy behavior of Schrödinger operators with potentials which decay slowly at infinity is studied. It is shown that if the potential is positive then the zero energy is very regular and the resolvent is smooth near 0. This implies rapid local decay for the solutions of the Schrödinger equation. On the other hand, if the potential is negative then the resolvent has discontinuity at zero energy. Thus one cannot expect local decay faster than ordert –1 ast.  相似文献

Previously measured drift velocities and longitudinal diffusion coefficients in SiH4-Ar mixtures were reanalyzed, and the new vibrational excitation cross sections for monosilane molecules were obtained. Not only were the new cross sections consistent with swarm parameters, but also the ratio of their magnitudes at the resonance peak agreed with earlier measurements of the electron beam experiment. Having known the vibrational excitation cross sections, the analysis of the primary ionization coefficient measured in SiH4-Kr mixtures led to a consistent inelastic cross section, which possibly corresponds to the total section for neutral dissociations for the molecule. It was confirmed that the derived set of the cross sections also gave good agreement with the electron swarm parameters measured in pure monosilane gas  相似文献

Experimental results of lower hybrid heating in a small tokamak are described. When rf power is applied, a high energy tail of ions is produced, whether or not there is a lower hybrid resonance layer (LHR layer) in the plasma column, though bulk ion heating is not observed. The electron temperature in the plasma surface increases, while the electrons in the center lose their energy, which is related to an impurity ion flux diffusing from the outside of the plasma.  相似文献
