Über Bodenkörper des Systems K+/Na+/Cr3+/F−/H2O

For the use of water-soluble wood preservations based on fluorides and chromates of alkaline metals which contain potassium and sodium, the fluoride is fixed particularly well in wood because there is formed the least soluble phase of all possible fluorochromates(III) of the system, K₂Na[CrF₆]. It develops from an aqueous solution always in a grossly disordered state because ions of alkaline metals and of fluorides are partly replaced by water molecules.
