Electron holography in a field emission gun transmission electron microscope has been used to profile the inner potential V0 across GaN/x nm In0.1Ga0.9N/GaN/(0 0 0 1) sapphire samples (x=10, 40 nm) grown by molecular beam epitaxy and viewed in cross-section. Results are presented which suggest a decrease in V0 of 3–4 V across the InGaN layer in the [0 0 0 1] direction. It is proposed that the results can be explained by charge accumulation across the InGaN layer and that the opposing contributions due to piezoelectric and polarisation fields are effectively masked by Fermi level pinning. 相似文献

Calixarenes, as nano-baskets, are considered an important group of macrocycles as the third famous host molecules after cyclodextrins and crown ethers have been subject to extensive researches in construction of many extractants, transporters, stationary phases, electrode ionophores and optical and electrochemical sensors over the past four decades. Because of the recent rapid growth in the publications of calixarene applications, this review paper has focused on different analytical applications of calixarenes in the main fields of separation, electroanalysis, spectroscopy and chemometrics. Two novel cationic mono‐s‐chloro triazinyl (MCT) reactive dyes together with their analogues were synthesized via reacting an N,N‐dimethyl dodecylamine with p‐nitrobenzyl bromide. The resultant was reduced using stannous chloride and hydrochloric acid to produce the primary amine. The quaternary ammonium salt containing primary amine was then diazotized and coupled to H‐acid/J‐acid reacted with cyanuric chloride and sulfanilic acid. The analogue dyes were prepared via the same route without quaternary ammonium salt making stage. The dyes were characterized using FTIR, 1H NMR, UV‐Vis spectroscopy and elemental analysis. The substantivity, exhaustion and fixation of the dyes were investigated on cotton fabric. It was found that these functional dyes could be effectively introduced to cotton for achieving simultaneous coloration and functional finishing effects. All the dyed fabrics exhibited softening efficacy. The washing and light fastness of the dyed samples were further studied. 相似文献

Three nano‐baskets of p‐tert‐butylcalix[4]arene‐1,2‐crown‐3 were synthesized and their binding abilities towards alkali and alkaline earth metals as well as some lanthanides were studied using differential pulse voltammetry. The novelty of this study was the investigation of macrocyclic complexes by voltammetric behaviors of two acidic moieties in each scaffold. Their voltammetric behaviors were closely related to the complex formation by entrapment of cation into crown ether cavity and ion‐dipole interaction between cation and acidic moieties in calixcrowns. The results revealed that the sulfur atom in the crown ring as well as the position of crown‐3 ether in 1,2‐alternate instead of cone conformer changed the binding ability of the scaffold to more cations. 相似文献

Mn(II), Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) and N,N‐bis(3,5‐di‐tert‐butylsalicyidene)‐2,2‐dimethyle‐1,3‐diaminopropane complexes have been synthesized in Y zeolite cavity by the reaction of ion‐exchanged metal ions with the flexible ligand molecules. The host‐guest materials obtained have been characterized by elemental analysis, XRD, surface area, pore volume, TGA, FT‐IR and UV‐Vis techniques. Analysis of data indicates that formation of complexes in the pores Y zeolite without affecting the zeolite framework structure. Also, we report the oxidation of cyclohexanol catalyzed by host‐guest catalyst with tert‐buthyl hydrogen peroxide as oxygen donor. The activity of benzyl alcohol oxidation decreases in the series‐[Co(L)]/NaY > [Cu(L)]/NaY > [Mn(L)]/NaY > [Ni(L)]/NaY and the percent of product completely depend to catalyst. Zeolite complexes are stable enough to be reused and are suitable to be utilized as partial oxidation catalysts. 相似文献
