Molecular assemblies that change photoluminescence color in response to thermal or mechanical stimulation without dissociation into the monomeric states in water are described herein. A dumbbell‐shaped amphiphilic compound forms micellar molecular assemblies in water and exhibits yellow photoluminescence derived from excimer formation of the luminescent core, which contains a 2,6‐diethynylanthracene moiety. Annealing of the aqueous solution induces a photoluminescence color change from yellow to green (λem, max=558→525 nm). The same photoluminescence color change is also achieved by rubbing the yellow‐photoluminescence‐emitting molecular assemblies adsorbed on glass substrates with cotton wool in water. The observed green photoluminescence is ascribed to micelles that are distinct from the yellow‐photoluminescence‐emitting micelles, on the basis of transmission electron microscopy observations, atomic force microscopy observations, and dynamic light scattering measurements. We examined the relationship between the structure of the molecular assemblies and the photophysical properties of the anthracene derivative in water before and after thermal or mechanical stimulation and concluded that thermal or mechanical stimuli‐induced slight changes of the molecular‐assembled structures in the micelles result in the change in the photoluminescence color from yellow to green in water. 相似文献

The main purpose of this paper is to present a crop planning problem for agricultural management under uncertainty. It is significant that agricultural managers assign their limited farmlands to cultivation of which crops in a season. This planning is called the crop planning problem and influences their incomes for the season. Usually, the crop planning problem is formulated as a linear programming problem. But there are many uncertain factors in agricultural problems, so future profits for crops are not certain values. A linear programming model with constant profit coefficients may not reflect the environment of decision making properly. Therefore, we propose a model of crop planning with fuzzy profit coefficients, and an effective solution procedure for the model. Furthermore, we extend this fuzzy model, setting the profit coefficients as discrete randomized fuzzy numbers. We show concrete optimal solutions for each models. 相似文献

Lipase TL-mediated kinetic resolution of (+/-)-5-benzyloxy-1-tert-butyldimethylsilyloxy-2-pentanol (5) at low temperature proceeded to give the corresponding (S)-alcohol 5 and (R)-acetate 6 in quantitative yields with high enantiomeric purity. The addition of bases such as pyridine, DMAP, 2,4- and 2,6-lutidines, or triethylamine considerably enhanced the rate of kinetic resolution. Introduction of soft filler in a hard body, which is one of the common toughening methods of hard polymeric materials, was applied for further toughening of robust double network (DN) hydrogels composed of poly(2‐acrylamido‐2‐methylpropanesulfonic acid) gels (PAMPS gels) as the first component and polyacrylamide (PAAm) as the second component. The fracture energy of the DN gels with the void structure (called void‐DN gels) became twice when the volume fraction of void was 1–3 vol % and the void diameter was much larger than the Flory radius of the PAAm chains. Such toughening was induced by wider range of internal fracture of the PAMPS network derived from partial stress concentration near void structure. Considering the mechanical tests and the dynamic light scattering results, it is implied that the absence of the load‐bearing PAAm structure inside the void is important for the toughening. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We developed a novel method to spatiotemporally control the activity of signaling molecules. A newly synthesized photocaged rapamycin derivative induced rapid dimerization of FKBP (FK-506 binding protein) and FRB (FKBP-rapamycin binding protein) upon UV irradiation. With this system and the spatially confined UV irradiation, we achieved subcellularly localized activation of Rac, a member of small GTPases. To study the atomistic behavior of the phosphoric ester molecule on the nascent Fe surface under boundary lubrication conditions, we adopted a hybrid tight-binding quantum chemical molecular dynamics method. First, we investigated chemical interactions between phosphoric ester and the nascent Fe surface. Phosphoric ester was shown to interact with the nascent Fe surface, forming both covalent and ionic bonds. Formation and dissociation dynamics of covalent bonds during tribochemical reaction was clearly observed during the simulation. The effect of friction condition on the tribochemical reaction dynamics was then studied, and it was indicated that friction would influence the formation and the dissociation of covalent bonds. By using a hybrid tight-binding quantum chemical molecular dynamics method, we obtained insights on initial tribochemical reaction processes for the formation of tribofilm from the phosphoric ester molecule on the nascent Fe surface. 相似文献
