A metal-insulator crossover appears in the experimental data for in-plane resistivity of underdoped cuprates and a range of
superconducting cuprates in the presence of a strong magnetic field suppressing superconductivity. We propose an explanation
for this phenomenon based on a gauge field theory approach to the t-J model. In this approach, based on a formal spin-charge
separation, the low energy effective action describes gapful spinons (with a theoretically derived doping dependence of the
gap m
s
2
∼ δ| ln δ|) and holons with finite Fermi surface (ɛF ∼ tδ) interacting via a gauge field whose basic effect on the spinons is to bind them into overdamped spin waves, shifting their
gap by a damping term linear in T, which causes the metal-insulator crossover. The presence of a magnetic field perpendicular to the plane acts by increasing

A direct synthetic procedure to obtain chiral aziridines is reported, involving a diastereoselective aza-MIRC (Michael Initiated Ring Closure) reaction. Multifunctionalized aziridines are obtained in high overall yields (82-92%) and with a diastereomeric ratio up to 99:1. Further synthetic elaboration can lead to the formation of interesting biochemical molecules, such as amino glycosides. The diastereomeric induction seems to be strongly controlled both by the choice of chiral moiety and by the electron withdrawing groups (EWG) present on the starting alkenes. 相似文献

We derive a master equation for a mirror interacting with the vacuum field via radiation pressure. The dynamical Casimir effect leads to decoherence of a superposition state in a time scale that depends on the degree of "macroscopicity" of the state components, and which may be much shorter than the relaxation time scale. A standard Quadratic Programming problem (StQP) consists in minimizing a (nonconvex) quadratic form over the standard simplex. For solving a StQP we present an exact and a heuristic algorithm, that are based on new theoretical results for quadratic and convex optimization problems. With these results a StQP is reduced to a constrained nonlinear minimum weight clique problem in an associated graph. Such a clique problem, which does not seem to have been studied before, is then solved with an exact and a heuristic algorithm. Some computational experience shows that our algorithms are able to solve StQP problems of at least one order of magnitude larger than those reported in the literature. 相似文献
