Bismuth titanate (Bi4Ti3O12) was developed by means of titanium oxide (TiO2) suspension in auto-combustion process at 220 °C to get nanosized (20 ± 5 nm) bismuth titanate (Bi4Ti3O12) powder. Complete piezoelectric phase (tetragonal) was obtained after calcination at 700 °C. Dilatometery of compacts was performed to find out sintering temperature. On the basis of shrinkage results, compacts were sintered at 750, 800, and 850 °C for 2 h. After sintering single phase was obtained with orthorhombic structure analyzed by X-ray diffraction and also investigated by Rietveld method. High-resolution scanning electron microscopy revealed that fine plate-like structure which is a characteristic of BIT powder can be obtained at 850 °C. Sintering results indicate that density and average grain size increase with the increasing temperature. A maximum of about 90 % of the theoretical density was achieved for the sintered product at 850 °C. 相似文献

In a preliminary antiprotozoal screening of several Clusiaceae species, the methanolic extracts of Allanblackia monticola and Symphonia globulifera showed high in vitro leishmanicidal activity. Further bioguided phytochemical investigation led to the isolation of four benzophenones: guttiferone A (1), garcinol (2), cambogin (3) and guttiferone F (4), along with three xanthones: allanxanthone A (5), xanthone V1 (6) and globulixanthone C (7) as active constituents. Compounds 1 and 6 were isolated from S. globulifera leaves, while compounds 2-5 were obtained from A. monticola fruits. Guttiferone A (1) and F (4) showed particulary strong leishmanicidal activity in vitro, with IC50 values (0.2 microM and 0.16 microM, respectively) comparable to that of the reference compound, miltefosine (0.46 microM). Although the leishmanicidal activity is promising, the cytotoxicity profile of these compounds prevent at this state further in vivo biological evaluation. In addition, all the isolated compounds were tested in vitro for their anticholinesterase properties. The four benzophenones showed potent anticholinesterase properties towards acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butylcholinesterase (AChE). For AChE, the IC50 value (0.66 microM) of garcinol (2) was almost equal to that of the reference compound galanthamine (0.50 microM). Furthermore, guttiferone A (1) and guttiferone F (4) (IC50 = 2.77 and 3.50 microM, respectively) were more active than galanthamine (IC50 = 8.5) against BChE. 相似文献

Nature provides a variety of drugs and medicinal agents derived from plants. This study was conducted to determine antimicrobial, antioxidant and cytotoxic activities of extracts of Melia azedarach bark with methanol/water (9:1 v/v), chloroform, butanol, hexane, water and ethyl acetate. For the determination of the antimicrobial activities, the agar well diffusion method was employed. Cytotoxicity was studied by brine shrimp lethality assay; antioxidant activities were measured using 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl. The chloroform extract was active against Enterobacter aerogenes and Proteus mirabilis, the ethyl acetate extract had highest antibacterial spectrum against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the n-hexane extract had highest inhibition against E. aerogenes, the aqueous extract showed highest activities against P. mirabilis, the butanol fraction showed highest activities against E. aerogenes and the methanolic extract was highly active against P. mirabilis. 相似文献

In this paper, we consider a lot-sizing problem with the remanufacturing option under parameter uncertainties imposed on demands and returns. Remanufacturing has recently been a fast growing area of interest for many researchers due to increasing awareness on reducing waste in production environments, and in particular studies involving remanufacturing and parameter uncertainties simultaneously are very scarce in the literature. We first present a min-max decomposition approach for this problem, where decision maker’s problem and adversarial problem are treated iteratively. Then, we propose two novel extended reformulations for the decision maker’s problem, addressing some of the computational challenges. An original aspect of the reformulations is that they are applied only to the latest scenario added to the decision maker’s problem. Then, we present an extensive computational analysis, which provides a detailed comparison of the three formulations and evaluates the impact of key problem parameters. We conclude that the proposed extended reformulations outperform the standard formulation for a majority of the instances. We also provide insights on the impact of the problem parameters on the computational performance. 相似文献

The interaction of aniline and p-anisidine with chromium ferrocyanide has been studied. Maximum uptake of both anilines was observed around pH 7. The adsorption data obtained at neutral pH were found to follow Langmuir adsorption. Anisidine was a better adsorbate because of its higher basicity. In alkaline medium (pH>8) both aniline and anisidine reacted with chromium ferrocyanide to give colored products. Analysis of the products by GC-MS showed benzoquinone and azobenzene as the reaction products of aniline while p-anisidine afforded a dimer. IR analysis of the amine-chromium ferrocyanide adduct suggests that the outer metal ion of chromium ferrocyanide and amino group of amines are responsible for the interaction. A possible reaction mechanism for the product formation in alkaline medium has been proposed. The present study suggests that metal ferrocyanides might have played an important role in the stabilization of organic molecules through their surface activity in the prebiotic condensation reactions. 相似文献

Non-equilibrium argon-nitrogen mixture plasma generated at 13.56 MHz is characterized by optical emission spectroscopy and Langmuir probe techniques. The excitation and vibrational temperature are studied as a function of argon percentage in the mixture, at 30-Pa filling pressure and input RF powers of 200 and 300 watt, to find out their role in dissociation of N2 molecules. In this work, the excitation temperature is determined from Ar-I emission line intensities by using the simple Boltzmann plot method and is found to increase with argon mixing in nitrogen plasma. In similar fashion, the vibrational temperature of second positive system has been determined and is found to also have increasing trend with argon addition. The effect of excitation and vibrational temperature on the nitrogen molecular dissociation level is also monitored. It is observed that N/N 2 ratio increases with increase in excitation and vibrational temperature and falls slightly at the end. 相似文献

The conservation laws for Prandtl’s boundary layer equations for an incompressible fluid governing the flow in radial and two-dimensional jets are investigated. For both radial and two-dimensional jets the partial Lagrangian method is used to derive conservation laws for the system of two differential equations for the velocity components. The Lie point symmetries are calculated for both cases and a symmetry is associated with the conserved vector that is used to establish the conserved quantity for the jet. This associated symmetry is then used to derive the group invariant solution for the system governing the flow in the free jet. 相似文献

MXenes, 2D compounds generated from layered bulk materials, have attracted significant attention in energy‐related fields. However, most syntheses involve HF, which is highly corrosive and harmful to lithium‐ion battery and supercapacitor performance. Here an alkali‐assisted hydrothermal method is used to prepare a MXene Ti3C2Tx (T=OH, O). This route is inspired from a Bayer process used in bauxite refining. The process is free of fluorine and yields multilayer Ti3C2Tx with ca. 92 wt % in purity (using 27.5 m NaOH, 270 °C). Without the F terminations, the resulting Ti3C2Tx film electrode (ca. 52 μm in thickness, ca. 1.63 g cm?3 in density) is 314 F g?1 via gravimetric capacitance at 2 mV s?1 in 1 m H2SO4. This surpasses (by ca. 214 %) that of the multilayer Ti3C2Tx prepared via HF treatments. This fluorine‐free method also provides an alkali‐etching strategy for exploring new MXenes for which the interlayer amphoteric/acidic atoms from the pristine MAX phase must be removed. 相似文献

Interaction of aniline, p-toluidine and p-chloroaniline with nickel, cadmium and manganese hexacyanoferrates(II) has been studied. Nickel and cadmium hexacyanoferrates(II) showed maximum adsorption at neutral pH, whereas, manganese hexacyanoferrate(II) reacts with aniline, p-toluidine and p-chloroaniline forming the colored oligomers on its surface. The adsorption data obtained at neutral pH is fitted in Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The adsorption behavior of the studied aromatic amines followed the order: p-toluidine>aniline>p-chloroaniline, which is related to the basicities of the amines. Results of the present study suggest the importance of metal hexacyanoferrates(II) and metal ions in stabilization of aromatic amines during the processes of prebiotic condensation reactions. 相似文献
