A series of bimetallic silyl halido cuprates consisting of the new tripodal silicon‐based metalloligand [κ3N‐Si(3,5‐Me2pz)3Mo(CO)3]? is presented (pz=pyrazolyl). This metalloligand is straightforwardly accessible by reacting the ambidentate ligand tris(3,5‐dimethylpyrazolyl)silanide ({Si(3,5‐Me2pz)3}?) with [Mo(CO)36‐toluene)]. The compound features a fac‐coordinated tripodal chelating ligand and an outward pointing, “free” pyramidal silyl donor, which is easily accessible for a secondary coordination to other metal centers. Several bimetallic silyl halido cuprates of the general formula [CuX{μ‐κ1Si3N‐Si(3,5‐Me2pz)3Mo(CO)3}]? (X=Cl, Br, I) have been synthesized. The electronic and structural properties of these complexes were probed in detail by X‐ray diffraction analysis, electrospray mass spectrometry, infrared‐induced multiphoton dissociation studies, cyclic voltammetry, spectroelectrochemistry, gas‐phase photoelectron spectroscopy, as well as UV/Vis and fluorescence spectroscopy. The heterobimetallic complexes contain linear two‐coordinate copper(I) entities with the shortest silicon–copper distances reported so far. Oxidation of the anionic complexes in methylene chloride and acetonitrile solutions at ${E{{0\hfill \atop 1/2\hfill}}}$ =?0.60 and ?0.44 V (vs. ferrocene/ferrocenium (Fc/Fc+)), respectively, shows substantial reversibility. Based on various results obtained from different characterization methods, as well as density functional theory calculations, these oxidation events were attributed to the Mo0/MoI redox couple.  相似文献

A new C‐nucleoside structurally based on the hydroxyquinoline ligand was synthesized that is able to form stable pairs in DNA in both the absence and the presence of metal ions. The interactions between the metal centers in adjacent CuII‐mediated base pairs in DNA were probed by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. The metal–metal distance falls into the range of previously reported values. Fluorescence studies with a donor–DNA–acceptor system indicate that photoinduced charge‐transfer processes across these metal‐ion‐mediated base pairs in DNA occur more efficiently than over natural base pairs.  相似文献

By displaying different O‐glycans in a multivalent mode, mucin and mucin‐like glycoproteins are involved in a plethora of protein binding events. The understanding of the roles of the glycans and the identification of potential glycan binding proteins are major challenges. To enable future binding studies of mucin glycan and glycopeptide probes, a method that gives flexible and efficient access to all common mucin core‐glycosylated amino acids was developed. Based on a convergent synthesis strategy starting from a shared early stage intermediate by differentiation in the glycoside acceptor reactivity, a common disaccharide building block allows for the creation of extended glycosylated amino acids carrying the mucin type‐2 cores 1–4 saccharides. Formation of a phenyl‐sulfenyl‐N‐Troc (Troc=trichloroethoxycarbonyl) byproduct during N‐iodosuccinimide‐promoted thioglycoside couplings was further characterized and a new methodology for the removal of the Troc group is described. The obtained glycosylated 9‐fluorenylmethoxycarbonyl (Fmoc)‐protected amino acid building blocks are incorporated into peptides for multivalent glycan display.  相似文献

The use of N-alkyl imines in decarboxylative Mannich reaction with substituted malonic acids half oxyesters (SMAHOs) has been developed to afford a direct access to secondary β2,3-aminoesters. The transformation occurs under very practical conditions (DABCO as a catalyst in bulk toluene and open to air) and can be performed with a broad range of each substrate in yields of 36 to 97 %. Importantly, the reaction was found to require the use of acidic additives in combination with the organocatalyst to limit the competitive olefination reaction.  相似文献

A hybrid mass spectrometer with an EBQQ configuration was used to investigate two approaches to trace dioxin analysis: high resolution gas chromatography – high resolution mass spectrometry (HRGC-HRMS) and high resolution gas chromatography – mass spectrometry – mass spectrometry (HRGC-MS-MS). It is shown that selected ion monitoring (SIM) HRGC-HRMS exhibits better selectivity for dioxins separated on a cyanopropyl column than is otherwise obtained under medium resolution mass spectrometry (3,000 resolution), while optimization of conditions for HRGC-MS-MS allowed the observation of 350 femtograms of the highly toxic 2,3,7,8-TCDF at a S/N ratio of 5:1. Both methods were applied to environmental samples with good results.  相似文献

A total synthesis of FK-506 (1) is presented. The synthesis features a highly convergent approach utilizing a block coupling strategy. Top and bottom half sections of the molecule are coupled by addition of a vinyl cuprate with a spiroenone. The alpha-allyl aldol functionality is revealed by a reductive opening of the spiroenone system. The labile alpha,beta-diketoamide hemiketal portion of the molecule is prepared by a late stage generation and oxidation of a masked enediol. Top and bottom half segments are themselves derived by coupling of smaller subunits, resulting in a very convergent route.  相似文献

As part of an ongoing investigation of the factors influencing metal ionrecognition, we have investigated structure/function relationships involvingthe metal-ion binding by three new N-benzyl-substituted, 15- and 16-membered,macrocyclic ligands incorporating N2O 3- and N 3O 3-donor sets (withthe N 3O 3-system consisting of a N 2O 3-macrocyclic ring with an attachedCH 2CH 2NCH 2C 6H 5 pendant arm). Selected solid complexes of thelatter ligand were isolated and the X-ray structures of individual Ni(II) and Ag(I) complexeswere obtained.Where solubility permitted, potentiometric titration studies in 95% methanolwere employed to investigate the binding affinities of all three ligand derivativestowards Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II), Cd(II), Ag(I) and Pb(II). The 15-memberedN 2O 3-ring was found to be selective for Ag(I) over the other six metalsinvestigated, including Cu(II). However, the presence of a further nitrogen donorin the form of the pendant benzylamine functionality in the N 3O 3-donorsystem results in an increase in its binding affinity for Ag(I) but an even greaterincrease occurs for Cu(II). As a consequence, the latter ion is now more stronglybound than Ag(I). The factors influencing these respective selectivities are discussed.  相似文献
