Achieving stability with highly active Ru nanoparticles for electrocatalysis is a major challenge for the oxygen evolution reaction. As improved stability of Ru catalysts has been shown for bulk surfaces with low‐index facets, there is an opportunity to incorporate these stable facets into Ru nanoparticles. Now, a new solution synthesis is presented in which hexagonal close‐packed structured Ru is grown on Au to form nanoparticles with 3D branches. Exposing low‐index facets on these 3D branches creates stable reaction kinetics to achieve high activity and the highest stability observed for Ru nanoparticle oxygen evolution reaction catalysts. These design principles provide a synthetic strategy to achieve stable and active electrocatalysts.  相似文献

We have produced silica-gel compacts doped with 2,5-Bis(benzoxazol-2-yl)-4-methoxyphenol dye using high-pressure processing of powders synthesized by the sol-gel technique. The high-pressure compaction of powders with three different dye concentrations was done at 4.5 GPa and room temperature. We have measured optical and mechanical properties of the obtained compacts. They were very stable, transparent, crack free, hard (3.56 ± 0.07 GPa) and dense (1.95 ± 0.03 g/cm3), being resistant to polishing and leaching, which enables its use in optical applications. The Stokes shift observed was higher than 100 nm indicating that the intramolecular proton-transfer in the electronically excited state (ESIPT) of this dye is maintained, even in an OH rich environment like silica. A shift to higher wavelength in the fluorescence spectra of the compacts, attributed to the increasing in the conjugation of the π system, was observed.  相似文献

The reaction of MCl2 (M=Zn, Cd and Hg) with Li(2-(C(SiMe3)2)(6-Me-C5H3N)), [Li(MeR)], affords mononuclear metal(II) alkyls. These, in the solid state, show intramolecular M-N interactions in their four-membered chelate rings, which progressively weaken down the series, the C-M-C angles becoming more open (〈M-N〉= 2.30(2), 2.52(2), 2.913(4) Å, C-M-C=160.7(2), 168.5(2), 180(-)°). Alkylmercury chloride complexes have been prepared by the reaction of HgCl2 with [Li(MeR)], Li(2-(C(SiMe3)2)(C5H4N)), [Li(HR)], or Li(2-(NSiMe3)(6-Me-C5H3N)), [Li(mpsa)], or from the redistribution reaction of the dialkyl (or amido) mercury complex with HgCl2. The alkylmercury chloride complexes are dimeric or polymeric in nature with near-linear 2-coordination; (Hg-Cl=2.329(5), 2.318(4), 2.272(8) Å, Cl-Hg-C(N)=175.0(4), 174.7(4), 175.6(5)°). Cd(2-(CH(SiMe3))(6-Me-C5H3N))2(tmen), prepared from the reaction of Li(2-(CH(SiMe3))(6-Me-C5H3N)) and CdCl2 in the presence of tmen, has also been structurally authenticated as the rac isomer with the ipso protons directed towards the tmen.  相似文献

1,4-phenylenediamine-1-propylsilica hybrid xerogels were obtained for two composition at different temperatures of gelation, from 5 up to 70C. The morphological effects produced by the different gelation temperatures were investigated by using N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms and scanning electron microscopy. The thermal stability of the organic groups and their distribution on the xerogel matrix, i.e. the fraction of the organic groups that were trapped in closed pores, formed during the xerogel synthesis, and the fraction of organic groups present on the surface, were obtained by using infrared thermal analysis. The higher porosity of the xerogels and the higher thermal stability of the organic groups were achieved for samples gelled at 25C.  相似文献

The degradation of the dye indigo carmine in aqueous solution induced by two oxidative processes (H(2)O(2)/iodide and O(3)) was investigated. The reactions were monitored by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry in the negative ion mode, ESI(-)-MS, and the intermediates and oxidation products characterized by ESI(-)-MS/MS. Both oxidative systems showed to be highly efficient in removing the color of the dye aqueous solutions. In the ESI(-)-MS of the indigo carmine solution treated with H(2)O(2) and H(2)O(2)/iodide, the presence of the ions of m/z 210 (indigo carmine in its anionic form, 1), 216, 226, 235, and 244 was noticeable. The anion of m/z 235 was proposed to be the unprecedented hydroperoxide intermediate 2 formed in solution via an electrophilic attack by hydroxyl and hydroperoxyl radicals of the exocyclic C=C bond of 1. This intermediate was suggested to be rapidly converted into the anionic forms of 2,3-dioxo-1H-indole-5-sulfonic acid (3, m/z 226), 2-amino-alpha-oxo-5-sulfo-benzeneacetic acid (4, m/z 244), and 2-amino-5-sulfo-benzoic acid (5, m/z 216). In the ESI(-)-MS of the indigo carmine solution treated with O(3), two main anions were detected: m/z 216 (5) and 244 (4). Both products were proposed to be produced via an unstable ozonide intermediate. Other anions in this ESI(-) mass spectrum were attributed to be [4 - H + Na](-) of m/z 266, [4 - H](2-) of m/z 121.5, and [5 - H](2-) of m/z 107.5. ESI-MS/MS data were consistent with the proposed structures for the anionic products 2-5.  相似文献

A forced degradation study of idebenone was conducted under conditions of UV irradiation, acid, basic and oxidative hydrolysis and in order to develop an isocratic stability-indicating LC-UV method for drug quantification in chitosan and N-carboxymethylchitosan nanoparticles obtained by spray drying. The drug was more labile to alkaline treatment than under the other forced degradation conditions. Idebenone and its degradation products were optimally resolved (resolution >4) on a Luna Phenomenex C18 column with mobile phase composed by methanol:water: (80:20% v/v) at a flow rate of 1.0 mL min?1, at 30 °C, using wavelength of 279 nm for drug detection. The method was linear, over a drug concentration range of 2 to 10 μg mL?1. The RSD% value of intra- and inter-day precision studies was <1.5. The method showed excellent recoveries (99.4 to 101.1%). The LOD and LOQ values were found to be 0.18 and 0.59 μg mL?1, respectively. In conclusion this method can be used as a rapid and accurate assay of idebenone in the nanoparticles during stability tests.  相似文献

This is the first report on the inventory of radionuclides produced in 1.4 GeV proton induced reaction on Lead–Bismuth Eutectic (LBE) targets. LBE targets of 6 mm diameter and 1 to 8 mm lengths were irradiated with 1.4 GeV protons. The radionuclides ranging from 7Be (53.12 days) to 207Po (5.8 h) were identified in the samples with the help of time resolved γ-ray spectroscopy. However, there is no signature of formation of At radioisotopes, which can be produced by the interaction of secondary particles, typical for thick targets.  相似文献

A thin-layer chromatographic (TLC) method is developed to analyze the total saponin content, also referred to as the aescin content, in a herbal medicinal product (HMP) containing two dry extracts in capsules. The capsules contain 250 mg of Aesculus hippocastanum dry extract, 120 mg of Vitis vinifera dry extract and 50mg of excipients. After a purification step using C(18) solid phase extraction (SPE) cartridges, the samples are analyzed on a silica-gel HPTLC plate with the upper layer of a mixture of acetic acid/water/butanol (10/40/50 v/v/v) as the mobile phase. Spots are visualized by spraying with anisaldehyde reagent and heating the plate for 5-10 min (100-105 degrees C) and measured at a wavelength of 535 nm. This method, applicable for the quality control and stability investigation of both the Aesculus dry extract and HMP capsules thereof containing Vitis dry extract in combination with the Aesculus dry extract, is validated according to the International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines. The proposed assay method is specific for aescin in the presence of Vitis dry extract and formulation excipients. Analysis of stressed samples in forced degradation tests proves the method to be applicable for stability evaluation. The standard aescin curve is linear (r > 0.99) over a concentration range of 0.16-0.80 microg/spot. Recovery from the HMP capsules is statistically equal to 100%. The precision of the method with respect to time and concentration is acceptable, with relative standard deviation (RSD) values of 1.28 and 1.49%, respectively.  相似文献
