[reaction: see text] A new poly(ethylene glycol)-supported porphyrin has been prepared and its ability as a promoter in photooxidation reactions has been studied. The PEG-supported catalyst exhibits high activity, comparable to that of a nonanchored sensitizer, and it is easily removable by filtration from the reaction mixture. The polymer-bound porphyrin has been recycled up to six times with no loss of chemical and stereochemical efficiency.  相似文献

Spatiotemporal control over biochemical signaling processes involving G protein‐coupled receptors (GPCRs) is highly desired for dissecting their complex intracellular signaling. We developed sixteen photoswitchable ligands for the human histamine H3 receptor (hH3R). Upon illumination, key compound 65 decreases its affinity for the hH3R by 8.5‐fold and its potency in hH3R‐mediated Gi protein activation by over 20‐fold, with the trans and cis isomer both acting as full agonist. In real‐time two‐electrode voltage clamp experiments in Xenopus oocytes, 65 shows rapid light‐induced modulation of hH3R activity. Ligand 65 shows good binding selectivity amongst the histamine receptor subfamily and has good photolytic stability. In all, 65 (VUF15000) is the first photoswitchable GPCR agonist confirmed to be modulated through its affinity and potency upon photoswitching while maintaining its intrinsic activity, rendering it a new chemical biology tool for spatiotemporal control of GPCR activation.  相似文献

Molecular syntheses largely rely on time‐ and labour‐intensive prefunctionalization strategies. In contrast, C?H activation represents an increasingly powerful approach that avoids lengthy syntheses of prefunctionalized substrates, with great potential for drug discovery, the pharmaceutical industry, material sciences, and crop protection, among others. The enantioselective functionalization of omnipresent C?H bonds has emerged as a transformative tool for the step‐ and atom‐economical generation of chiral molecular complexity. However, this rapidly growing research area remains dominated by noble transition metals, prominently featuring toxic palladium, iridium and rhodium catalysts. Indeed, despite significant achievements, the use of inexpensive and sustainable 3d metals in asymmetric C?H activations is still clearly in its infancy. Herein, we discuss the remarkable recent progress in enantioselective transformations via organometallic C?H activation by 3d base metals up to April 2019.  相似文献

Late-stage C−H glycosylations of structurally complex amino acids and peptides were accomplished by means of racemization-free manganese(I)-catalyzed C−H activation. Thus, glycosylative modifications proved to be viable by a linch-pin approach, featuring chemo- and site-selective C−H transformations. The peptide–saccharide conjugation provided modular access to structurally complex glycopeptides, likewise enabling the assembly of fluorescent-labelled glycopeptides.  相似文献

Isotopes of hydrogen (3H, 2H) and oxygen (18O) are perfect candidates for groundwater tracers. A survey of isotopic composition of 34 groundwater samples and one Lake from Vojvodina region (Serbia) is presented here. Tritium activity concentration and stable isotope composition (δ2H, δ18O), as well as deuterium excess, were determined. The groundwater samples lie on the groundwater regression line. Minor deviations and a few lower deuterium excess values indicate waters recharged in a different climate regime and subjected to evaporation, respectively. According to the obtained results, most of the analyzed groundwater can be characterized as modern waters, recharged mostly from precipitation.

The lack of understanding of the structural and electronic factors that affect the often difficult to observe germanium resonance has been a major deterrent to studies of bonding interactions at germanium. We utilized the symmetrical system GeR 4 to determine what structural factors inherent in the R group affect the shape and position of the (73)Ge resonance. The (73)Ge resonances of symmetrical tetrakis germanium compounds of the type GeR 4 (R = alkyl, aryl), GeX 4 (X = F, Cl, Br, I), Ge(OR) 4 (R = alkyl, methoxyalkyl, dimethylaminoalkyl), Ge(NR 2) 4 (R = alkyl), and Ge(SR) 4 (R = alkyl, dimethylaminoalkyl) were examined for evidence of intramolecular coordination. Although many of these compounds have sharp resonances due to idealized tetrahedral symmetry with relatively long relaxation times, others have broad or no observable resonances due to fast quadrupolar relaxation. We hypothesize that the perturbation of symmetry by even weak Lewis interactions or conformational changes causes broadening of the resonance before the interaction can become sufficiently strong to cause the significant low-frequency shift generally associated with hypercoordination in most nuclei. Intermolecular coordination to GeCl 4 is believed to be responsible for the low-frequency shifts in (73)Ge resonances and the associated changes in peak widths in mixtures with bases such as tributylphosphine oxide (TBPO) and triethylphosphine oxide (TEPO). Adduct formation with these bases is confirmed by broad (31)P resonances that are resolved into five peaks at -40 degrees C. The exchange-broadened resonances due to the 1:1 and 1:2 TEPO adducts are also observed at -40 degrees C in the (73)Ge spectrum. Thus, relatively strong bonding to the germanium in GeCl 4 results in both low-frequency shifts and broadening of the resonance. The broad (73)Ge resonances that occur in some compounds may be in part due to exchange as well as quadrupolar relaxation.  相似文献

New results of steady-state two-dimensional finite-element computations of temperature distributions of high power semiconductor laser arrays are presented. The influence of different thermal loads on the 2D temperature distribution in AlGaAs/GaAs gain-guided laser arrays is investigated. TheFEM model is tested by comparing it with analytical solutions. For numerical convenience, the latter is rewritten in a novel form, which is free of overflow problems. The maximum temperatures calculated by both methods agree within 1%. Several factors determining the thermal resistance of the device are quantitatively examined: the ratio of light emitting to non-emitting areas along the active zone, the amount of Joule losses, the current spreading, the solder thickness, and voids in the solder. This yields design rules for optimum thermal performance.  相似文献
