We have developed a novel probe with a nanometric metallized protrusion extending through a subwavelength aperture to increase optical near-field excitation and collection efficiencies. The apex diameter of the fabricated metallized protrusion was 35 nm. The Intensity distribution of the optical near-field at the apex of the probe was measured by scanning another probe across the apex, and it was observed that strong optical near-field was generated at the apex of the metallized protrusion. The width of the intensity distribution was 150 nm including instrumental resolution. Probes with spherical and ellipsoidal metallized protrusion were also fabricated, by which enhancement of the optical near-field is expected due to localized plasmon excitation. 相似文献

Carbohydrate‐functional siloxanes (CHFSs) that exhibit high intermolecular interactions and good environmental friendliness have successfully been synthesized by acid‐catalyzed transacetalation between an acetal‐functional siloxane and glucose in dimethylformamide/dioxane mixed solvents. Activated clay has proven to be a good catalyst because of its high activity and its easy removal from the product. Acetal‐functional siloxanes as starting materials can be easily synthesized in good yields by hydrosilylation between Si? H‐functional siloxanes and acrolein diethyl acetal. This method has the following advantages: (1) the inexpensive materials used, (2) the simplified process employed, and (3) the high yield achieved. Because the carbohydrate moieties in these materials have the nature of strong intermolecular interactions and are highly hydrophilic, CHFSs exhibit very high bulk viscosities in comparison with the corresponding acetal‐functional siloxanes and good solubilities in polar solvents such as dimethylformamide and dimethyl sulfoxide. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of 1,1-diboryl-1-alkenes with aryl and alkenyl iodides was found to proceed stereoselectively, giving rise to the corresponding mono-coupled product as a single diastereomer with E-configuration. Second coupling of the initial product with another aryl iodide affords diverse triarylalkenes in their stereochemically pure form. This highly stereoselective approach for triarylalkenes allows one to synthesize both diastereomers in one pot from 1,1-diboryl-1-alkenes. 相似文献

Reported here for the first time is the iodobenzene-catalyzed alpha-oxidation of ketones, in which diacyloxy(phenyl)-lambda3-iodanes generated in situ act as real oxidants of ketones and m-chloroperbenzoic acid serves as a terminal oxidant. Oxidation of a ketone with m-chloroperbenzoic acid in acetic acid in the presence of a catalytic amount of iodobenzene, BF3.Et2O, and water at room temperature under argon affords an alpha-acetoxy ketone in good yield. p-Methyl- and p-chloroiodobenzene also serve as efficient catalysts in this direct oxidation. We found that when the reaction was carried out in the absence of a catalytic amount of iodobenzene, Baeyer-Villiger oxidation of a ketone took place. It is noted that use of water and BF3.Et2O is crucial to the success of this alpha-acetoxylation. 相似文献

The role of o-bisguanidinobenzenes (BGBs) as new Brønsted base ligands for arsenic and phosphoric acids was examined. In solution state, complexation was evaluated by Job’s plot in 1H NMR experiment, indicating a 1:1 complex formation, whereas in solid state crystalline structures of complexes obtained were addressed by X-ray crystallographic analysis and/or solid state 13C NMR experiment, in which 1:2 complexes between the BGB and the acid components were normally formed. Based on these results, Merrifield and Hypogel® resin-anchored BGBs were designed and prepared as the corresponding polymer-supported host ligands. Evaluation of their coordination ability with metal salts (ZnCl2 and CoCl2) and arsenic acid in aqueous media by ICP-MS showed that the latter Hypogel® resin-anchored BGBs acted as effective immobilized base ligands. 相似文献
