We propose Raman-induced collinear difference-frequency generation (DFG) as a method to manipulate dynamical magnetization. When a fundamental beam propagates along a threefold rotational axis, this coherent second-order optical process is permitted by angular momentum conservation through the rotational analogue of the umklapp process. As a demonstration, we experimentally obtained polarization properties of collinear magnetic DFG along a [111] axis of a single crystal of antiferromagnetic NiO with micromultidomain structure, which excellently agreed with the theoretical prediction. 相似文献

We discuss the Fourier–Jacobi expansion of certain vector valued Eisenstein series of degree $2$ , which is also real analytic. We show that its coefficients of index $\pm 1$ can be described by using a generating series of real analytic Jacobi forms. We also describe all the coefficients of general indices in suitable manners. Our method can be applied to study another Fourier series of Saito-Kurokawa type that is associated with a cusp form of one variable and half-integral weight. Then, following the arguments in the holomorphic case, we find that the Fourier series indeed defines a real analytic Siegel modular form of degree 2. 相似文献

Landau levels have been theoretically investigated in a two-dimensional electron gas near a quantum dot (QD) layer. By a diagrammatical method, we have formulated the self-energy for the Landau level and deduced its relation to the AC conductivity σloc(ω) in the QD layer. As an example, we have examined the density of states in the case where σloc(ω) is described by AωS(S=0.8). It is found that the Landau levels are broadened due to the interaction with the localized electrons in the QDs. 相似文献

In scanning microscopy by total internal reflection with thermal lens spectroscopy, its spatial resolution depends on the distance between the sample and a converging lens, which corresponds to the objective lens in an ordinary optical microscope. It was found that the resolution was best when the signal induced by the thermal lens effect was maximum. The distance was precisely adjusted by monitoring the signal intensity, and the resolution became twice better than that previously reported. In the ‘90s DEM simulation research was successful in exploring its potential in the simulation of fluidization phenomenaand in its application to the design of fluidized-bed processes. Nevertheless, not much progress has been made regardingthe realistic treatment of collision processes that are critical in determining macroscopic mode of fluidization. All throughthe second half of the ‘90s, the author investigated/demonstrated the issue by introducing different surface interactionscaused by formation of liquid and/or solid bridges, van der Waals force and the existence of surface roughness. We study rule induction from two decision tables as a basis of rough set analysis of more than one decision tables. We regard the rule induction process as enumerating minimal conditions satisfied with positive examples but unsatisfied with negative examples and/or with negative decision rules. From this point of view, we show that seven kinds of rule induction are conceivable for a single decision table. We point out that the set of all decision rules from two decision tables can be split in two levels: a first level decision rule is positively supported by a decision table and does not have any conflict with the other decision table and a second level decision rule is positively supported by both decision tables. To each level, we propose rule induction methods based on decision matrices. Through the discussions, we demonstrate that many kinds of rule induction are conceivable. 相似文献
