A novel methodology for the deprotonation of a methyl group on silicon has been developed. This newly developed alpha-lithiation protocol is based on the intramolecular pyridyl group coordination to stabilize the alpha-silyl carbanion together with the inherent silicon alpha effect. It was found that the deprotonation (t-BuLi/Et(2)O/-78 degrees C) occurs with 2-pyridyltrimethylsilane but not with other related silanes such as phenyltrimethylsilane, 3-pyridyltrimethylsilane, and 4-pyridyltrimethylsilane. It seems that this deprotonation proceeded through the agency of the complex-induced proximity effect (CIPE) of a 2-pyridyl group on silicon. (1)H NMR analysis of (2-pyridyldimethylsilyl)methyllithium revealed the intramolecular coordination of a pyridyl group to lithium. (2-Pyridyldimethylsilyl)methyllithium was found to react with chlorosilanes, hydrosilanes, chlorostannanes, bromine, iodine, organic bromides, aldehydes, and ketones in good to excellent yields. The resultant adducts were further oxidized with H(2)O(2)/KF to give the corresponding alcohols in excellent yields. Thus, this two-step transformation provides an efficient method for the nucleophilic hydroxymethylation.  相似文献

Polyaddition of various diisothiocyanates and dithiols was achieved with triethylamine in dimethylformamide at 25 °C for 12 h under nitrogen, and then the corresponding polydithiourethanes (PDTUs) were obtained with high yield and molecular weight without depending on the monomer structures, although the dithiol monomer of the low nucleophilicity was unsuitable for polyaddition in this system. The chemical and physical properties of the obtained PDTUs such as solvent solubility, glass transition temperature, thermal stability, transparency, refractive index, and tensile strength, were analyzed in detail by gel permeation chromatography, nuclear magnetic resonance, Fourier transform infrared–attenuated total reflection, ultraviolet–visible, differential scanning calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis, and tensile testing measurements. These results proved that PDTUs and their cast films having the aliphatic diisothiocyanate and dithiol moieties exhibited excellent chemical and physical properties compared to that of the aromatic PDTUs. © 2018 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Nanoparticulate gold supported on a Keggin‐type polyoxometalate (POM), Cs4[α‐SiW12O40]?n H2O, was prepared by the sol immobilization method. The size of the gold nanoparticles (NPs) was approximately 2 nm, which was almost the same as the size of the gold colloid precursor. Deposition of gold NPs smaller than 2 nm onto POM (Au/POM) was essential for a high catalytic activity for CO oxidation. The temperature for 50 % CO conversion was ?67 °C. The catalyst showed extremely high stability for at least one month at 0 °C with full conversion. The catalytic activity and the reaction mechanism drastically changed at temperatures higher than 40 °C, showing a unique behavior called a U‐shaped curve. It was revealed by IR measurement that Auδ+ was a CO adsorption site and that adsorbed water promoted CO oxidation for the Au/POM catalyst. This is the first report on CO oxidation utilizing Au/POMs catalysts, and there is a potential for expansion to various gas‐phase reactions.  相似文献

However, we did not successfully synthesize BICMAP analogues via a similar synthetic route. The cover picture shows a section of the electron charge density of the first metal carbide endohedral metallofullerene (Sc(2)C(2))@C(84) obtained from a synchrotron X-ray powder diffraction study by the maximum entropy method (MEM). The several density maxima, which correspond to scandium and carbon atoms, are clearly seen inside the C(84) carbon cage. The MEM charge density distribution also reveals that the C(84) cage has D(2d) symmetry (no. 23) and that the C(2) axis is parallel to the <100> face-centered cubic (fcc) direction of the unit cell. As a consequence of the site symmetry being 4mm, the C(2) axis of (Sc(2)C(2))@C(84) is oriented to six equivalent <100> directions and shows a merohedral disorder. The resultant Sc small middle dot small middle dot small middle dotSc distances and C-C bond lengths of the Sc(2)C(2) cluster are 0.429(2) and 0.142(6) nm, respectively. The observed C-C bond length is between that of a typical single and a double bond, and is very close to that of the C-C bond (0.143 nm) combining two pentagons in a C(60) molecule. A series of erythromycin A 9-O-substituted oxime ether derivatives have been synthesized and evaluated for antibacterial activity against Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) and Staphylococcus aureus. These compounds possessed stronger in vitro activity against MAC including macrolide-resistant strains than clarithromycin (2), although in vitro antibacterial activities of these compounds were less than that of 2 against Staphylococcus aureus. Our studies found that several factors contribute to the antibacterial activity against MAC. The length and spatial orientation of the substituent at 9-position were found to significantly influenced the anti-MAC activity, especially against macrolide-resistant strains. Of all the compounds prepared, erythromycin A 9-[O-(4-phenylbutyl)oxime] (12q) and erythromycin A 9-[O-(3-phenoxypropyl)oxime] (12t) possessed 16 times stronger antibacterial activity than 2 against clarithromycin-resistant strains. Surprisingly, the minimum inhibitory concentrations (MICs) of 12q and 12t against the resistant strains were almost same as those against the susceptible strains. These results suggest that the erythromycin A 9-O-substituted oxime ether derivatives would be promising macrolide antibiotics.  相似文献

Eight highly modified Daphniphyllum alkaloids with unprecedented fused hexa- or pentacyclic skeletons, daphnicyclidins A-H (1-8), have been isolated from the stems of Daphniphyllum humile and D.teijsmanni, and their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic data and chemical means. Summary Chiral stationary phases (CSPs) for liquid chromatography were prepared by the way of an activated carbamate intermediate. The amino group of aminopropylsilyl silica gel was first activated by carbamylation with disuccinimido carbonate (DSC). The obtained activated carbamate silica gel (ACsil) proved useful as an intermediate for the preparation of urea-type CSPs. The reaction of ACsil with (S)- of (R)-1-(α-naphthyl)-ethylamine gave naphthylethylurea type CSPs. These CSPs were also obtained directly from aminopropylsilyl silica gel by its reaction with optically active (S)- or (R)-succinimido 1-(α-naphthyl)ethyl carbamate (SINEC). Several phenylthiohydantoin amino acid enantiomers and p-bromophenylcarbamyl amino acid enantiomers were resolved on the CSPs by elution with aqueous mobile phase.  相似文献
