A new series of transparent aerogels of biopolymer-polysiloxane double networks is reported. Biopolymer aerogels have attracted much attention from green and sustainable aspects but suffered from strong hydrophilicity and difficulty to make homogeneous structures in nanoscale; these drawbacks are overcome by compositing with a polysiloxane network. Alginate-polymethylsilsesquioxane aerogel has high optical transparency, water repellency, comparable superinsulation property and improved bending flexibility compared to pure polymethylsilsesquioxane aerogel. The nanoscale homogeneity is realized by separating the crosslinking steps for two networks in a sequential protocol: condensation of siloxane bonds and metal-crosslinking of biopolymer. The crosslinking order, biopolymer-first or siloxane-first, and universality/limitation of biopolymer-crosslinker pairs are discussed to construct fundamental chemistry of double network systems for their further application potentials.  相似文献

A hybrid mass spectrometer with an EBQQ configuration was used to investigate two approaches to trace dioxin analysis: high resolution gas chromatography – high resolution mass spectrometry (HRGC-HRMS) and high resolution gas chromatography – mass spectrometry – mass spectrometry (HRGC-MS-MS). It is shown that selected ion monitoring (SIM) HRGC-HRMS exhibits better selectivity for dioxins separated on a cyanopropyl column than is otherwise obtained under medium resolution mass spectrometry (3,000 resolution), while optimization of conditions for HRGC-MS-MS allowed the observation of 350 femtograms of the highly toxic 2,3,7,8-TCDF at a S/N ratio of 5:1. Dynamical features of hydrogen bonds in methanol–water mixtures have been analysed in terms of lifetime in the wide range of conditions, including supercritical states, using a molecular dynamics simulation with flexible potential models. Hydrogen bond characteristics in methanol–water mixtures were investigated by considering the combination of molecular species and donor–acceptor of hydrogen-bonded molecules. The hydrogen bond lifetimes mainly depend on temperature, and those in supercritical condition were about 1/10th of that at ambient condition. Focusing on the composition dependence of the hydrogen bond lifetime, the unique behaviour of that resulting from hydration structure was observed. Moreover, the molecular combination, which showed the largest hydrogen bond lifetime, was different for ambient and high temperature and high pressure conditions. The relationship between hydrogen bond lifetime and molar volume was also calculated to discuss the hydrogen bond lifetime in terms of the collision frequency of molecules and the intermolecular distance.  相似文献

Ice crystallisation in crosslinked dextran (Sephadex) gels was studied by the method of two-dimensional X-ray diffraction (XRD) in combination with the simultaneous measurement of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). With a Sephadex G25 gel where an exotherm due to ice crystallisation is observed in the DSC rewarming trace, it was indicated by the XRD pattern that small ice crystals less than approximately 10 microns in diameter are readily formed during freezing, and that the endothermic trend prior to the exotherm is not due to the glass transition but due to the melting of the small ice crystals. Moreover, the diffraction pattern observed with frozen Sephadex gels depended on the density of crosslink indicating that ice crystals of different size and dimension are formed in the gels.  相似文献

A zeta-function associated with Kummer’s confluent hypergeometric function is introduced as a classical Dirichlet series. An integral representation, a transformation formula, and relation formulas between contiguous functions and one generalization of Ramanujan’s formula are given. The inverse Laplace transform of confluent hypergeometric functions is essentially used to derive the integral representation.  相似文献

A highly enantioselective cyanohydrin synthesis with aromatic aldehydes using chiral lithium binaphtholate aqua or alcohol complexes has been developed and is a simple and inexpensive catalyst suitable for process chemistry to give gram-scale cyanohydrins successfully. Dramatic improvements in enantiomeric excess have been realized along with an interesting changeover in absolute stereochemistry of cyanohydrin product against the thoroughly "dry" catalytic systems.  相似文献

Aggregation structures of 1-alkyl-3-methylimidazolium based ionic liquids (ILs) in aqueous solution were investigated by small-angle neutron scattering (SANS) from the viewpoint of alkyl chain length, n, and anions (Cl?, Br? and trifluoromethanesulfonate, $ {\text{CF}}_{3} {\text{SO}}_{3}^{ - } $ ). In [C4mIm+]-based IL systems, no noticeable SANS intensity was observed for all of the systems examined here, although aqueous [C4mIm+][ $ {\text{BF}}_{4}^{ - } $ ] solutions show a significant SANS profile originating from concentration fluctuations in the solution (Almasy et al. J Phys Chem B 112:2382–2387, 2008). This suggests that [C4mIm+][Cl?], [C4mIm+][Br?] and [C4mIm+][ $ {\text{CF}}_{3} {\text{SO}}_{3}^{ - } $ ] homogeneously mix with water, unlike the [C4mIm+][ $ {\text{BF}}_{4}^{ - } $ ] system, due to preferential hydration of the ions. In the case of the C n mIm cations with longer alkyl chain lengths (n = 8 and 12), SANS profiles were clearly observed in the aqueous solutions at IL concentrations of C IL > 230 and 20.0 mmol·dm?3, respectively. For aqueous [C8mIm+][Br?] solutions, the asymptotic behavior of the scattering function varied largely from I(q) ~ q ?2 to ~q ?4 with increasing C IL, indicating that the solution changes from an inhomogeneous mixing state to a nano-scale micelle state. Aqueous [C12mIm+][Br?] solutions show a typical SANS profile for micelle formation in solution. It was found from a model-fitting analysis that the structure of the [C12mIm+][Br?] micelle is ellipsoidal, not spherical, in solutions over the C IL range examined here.  相似文献

An industrial and economic carbonylation of amines with carbon monoxide and sulfur has been developed for the synthesis of S-alkyl thiocarbamate herbicides. In the presence of potassium carbonate and solvent DMSO, S-alkyl thiocarbamates, such as thiobencarb and orbencarb (herbicides) are synthesized in excellent yields from amines, carbon monoxide, sulfur, and alkyl halides under mild conditions (1 atm, 20 °C).  相似文献
