Dynamical features of hydrogen bonds in methanol–water mixtures have been analysed in terms of lifetime in the wide range of conditions, including supercritical states, using a molecular dynamics simulation with flexible potential models. Hydrogen bond characteristics in methanol–water mixtures were investigated by considering the combination of molecular species and donor–acceptor of hydrogen-bonded molecules. The hydrogen bond lifetimes mainly depend on temperature, and those in supercritical condition were about 1/10th of that at ambient condition. Focusing on the composition dependence of the hydrogen bond lifetime, the unique behaviour of that resulting from hydration structure was observed. Moreover, the molecular combination, which showed the largest hydrogen bond lifetime, was different for ambient and high temperature and high pressure conditions. The relationship between hydrogen bond lifetime and molar volume was also calculated to discuss the hydrogen bond lifetime in terms of the collision frequency of molecules and the intermolecular distance.  相似文献

Ice crystallisation in crosslinked dextran (Sephadex) gels was studied by the method of two-dimensional X-ray diffraction (XRD) in combination with the simultaneous measurement of differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). With a Sephadex G25 gel where an exotherm due to ice crystallisation is observed in the DSC rewarming trace, it was indicated by the XRD pattern that small ice crystals less than approximately 10 microns in diameter are readily formed during freezing, and that the endothermic trend prior to the exotherm is not due to the glass transition but due to the melting of the small ice crystals. Moreover, the diffraction pattern observed with frozen Sephadex gels depended on the density of crosslink indicating that ice crystals of different size and dimension are formed in the gels.  相似文献

We describe the fabrication and evaluation of a low-loss, high-delta optical waveguide consisting of heterostructured photonic crystals. The waveguide is composed of a multilayer stack of Ta2O5/SiO2 and is prepared by use of the autocloning technique. Light is guided in the waveguide by the difference in the effective refractive indices of the constituent photonic crystals. By improving the design of the core region so that is has a flat multilayer structure, we achieve delta = 3.09% for the in-plane direction and net propagation loss of 0.56 dB/mm at lambda = 1.6 microm. Experiments also suggest that the bending loss of the waveguide can be reduced to less than 0.1 dB if the curvature radius is larger than 700 microm.  相似文献

A prospective study was performed to investigate the correlations between saturation transfer ratio (STR) and histologic parameters of invasive ductal carcinomas in human breast. The histologic parameters investigated were the extent of fibrosis in the intercellular matrix, dysplastic changes of nuclei, and mitotic index. Twenty-seven patients with breast carcinoma were examined using an off-resonance saturation pulse in conjunction with conventional field-echo T(1)-weighted imaging at frequency offsets of 448 Hz and 1200 Hz from water resonance. The values of STR at frequency offset of 1200 Hz (STR(1200)) increased from non-scirrhous carcinoma to scirrhous carcinoma. Although STR(1200) showed correlation with the extent of fibrosis in the intercellular matrix (p<0.01, n = 27), they did not correlate with the dysplastic changes of nuclei or mitotic index. On the other hand, the values of STR at frequency offset of 448 Hz (STR(448)) demonstrated close correlation to dysplastic changes of nuclei and mitotic index (p<0.01, n = 27). STR(1200) correlates with the structural characteristics and STR(448) correlates with the nature of malignant cells with regard to nuclear dysplasia and mitotic potential.  相似文献

A zeta-function associated with Kummer’s confluent hypergeometric function is introduced as a classical Dirichlet series. An integral representation, a transformation formula, and relation formulas between contiguous functions and one generalization of Ramanujan’s formula are given. The inverse Laplace transform of confluent hypergeometric functions is essentially used to derive the integral representation.  相似文献

A copper‐catalyzed aminoboration of bicyclic alkenes, including oxa‐ and azabenzonorbornadienes, has been developed. With this method, amine and boron moieties are simultaneously introduced at an olefin with exo selectivity. Subsequent stereospecific transformations of the boryl group can provide oxygen‐ and nitrogen‐rich cyclic molecules with motifs that may be found in natural products or pharmaceutically active compounds. Moreover, a catalytic asymmetric variant of this transformation was realized by using a copper complex with a chiral bisphosphine ligand, namely (R,R)‐Ph‐BPE.  相似文献
