The radical polymerization kinetics and mechanism of sterically hindered dialkyl fumarates (DRF) bearing various ester alkyl groups are described comprehensively. The overall polymerization reactivity of DRF, the initiation mechanism and the reactivity of the primary radicals in the polymerizations with azo initiators, the determination of the propagation and termination rate constants by means of electron spin resonance spectroscopy, the propagation mechanism and the microstructure of the polymers, and the chain rigidity of poly(DRF) and bimolecular termination process are discussed. 相似文献

Facilitated or complexation-mediated transport of oxygen in the solid membrane containing a fixed carrier was described, by using the polymer-bound cobalt Schiff's base chelate (CoS) and cobaltporphyrin (CoP). α3 β-Substituted cobaltporphyrin derivatives were synthesized: The oxygen-binding reaction to cobalt was affected by the cavity structure on porphyrin, i.e., unbulky amido-substituted groups such as acetylamido- and acrylamido-substituents enhanced oxygen-binding and -dissociation rate constant or provided an oxygen-binding pathway. Oxygen transport through the membranes of these polymer-bound CoP derivatives was selectively augmented due to the rapid and reversible oxygen-binding. Anemia is a major complication of chronic renal failure. To treat this anemia, prolylhydroxylase domain enzyme (PHD) inhibitors as well as erythropoiesis-stimulating agents (ESAs) have been used. Although PHD inhibitors rapidly stimulate erythropoietin (Epo) production, the precise sites of Epo production following the administration of these drugs have not been identified. We developed a novel method for the detection of the Epo protein that employs deglycosylation-coupled Western blotting. With protein deglycosylation, tissue Epo contents can be quantified over an extremely wide range. Using this method, we examined the effects of the PHD inhibitor, Roxadustat (ROX), and severe hypoxia on Epo production in various tissues in rats. We observed that ROX increased Epo mRNA expression in both the kidneys and liver. However, Epo protein was detected in the kidneys but not in the liver. Epo protein was also detected in the salivary glands, spleen, epididymis and ovaries. However, both PHD inhibitors (ROX) and severe hypoxia increased the Epo protein abundance only in the kidneys. These data show that, while Epo is produced in many tissues, PHD inhibitors as well as severe hypoxia regulate Epo production only in the kidneys. 相似文献

Visible-light irradiation (λ > 450 nm) of gold nanoparticles loaded on a mixture of anatase/rutile TiO(2) particles (Degussa, P25) promotes efficient aerobic oxidation at room temperature. The photocatalytic activity critically depends on the catalyst architecture: Au particles with <5 nm diameter located at the interface of anatase/rutile TiO(2) particles behave as the active sites for reaction. This photocatalysis is promoted via plasmon activation of the Au particles by visible light followed by consecutive electron transfer in the Au/rutile/anatase contact site. The activated Au particles transfer their conduction electrons to rutile and then to adjacent anatase TiO(2). This catalyzes the oxidation of substrates by the positively charged Au particles along with reduction of O(2) by the conduction band electrons on the surface of anatase TiO(2). This plasmonic photocatalysis is successfully promoted by sunlight exposure and enables efficient and selective aerobic oxidation of alcohols at ambient temperature. 相似文献

An efficient method for C7‐position‐selective alkenylation of N‐substituted indolines with alkenes is reported. Various 7‐alkenylindolines were obtained in moderate to excellent yields in air in the presence of catalytic amounts of [Cp*IrCl2]2, AgOTf, and Cu(OAc)2. The protocol relies on the use of a carbonyl or carbamoyl group on the nitrogen atom of indoline as a directing group and is potentially applicable to the synthesis of 7‐alkenylindoles and 7‐alkylindoles. 相似文献

The title compounds, Ph2bNO and Ph3bNO, were designed as a biradical paramagnetic host, and their chelation ability was confirmed by inclusion of a size-matched alkaline-earth metal ion. The crystal structures of [Ca(hfac)2(Ph2bNO)] and [Ba(hfac)2(Ph3bNO)] were determined, where Hhfac stands for 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoropentane-2,4-dione. The solution electron paramagnetic resonance spectra showed switching behavior. Five lines were found for Ph3bNO and charecterized as the hyperfine splitting due to the two nitrogen atoms. After addition of barium(II) ion, the spectrum turned to be three lines. Removal of the barium ion recovered the five line pattern. The present system can be regarded as a reversible magnetic-coupling switch by means of a supramolecular technique. 相似文献

Root chemicals and DNA sequences were analyzed for Ligularia virgaurea collected in the northern Sichuan Province and adjacent areas of China. Thirty-eight samples were found to contain five chemotypes, two known and three new ones. From samples of the new chemotypes, 13 new compounds were isolated, including 3 sesquiterpene dimers and some rearranged eremophilanes. The DNA sequences suggested that the chemotype differentiation had a genetic origin. 相似文献
