Acrylamide (AAm) was found to polymerize in a solution of poly(N‐isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAAm) in water at around its lower critical solution temperature (LCST) (32°C) without any initiators. This phenomenon was specifically observed in aqueous solutions of the polymers having LCST such as PNIPAAm and poly(methylvinylether) (PMVE). AAm polymerized only when PNIPAAm and AAm were dissolved in water below LCST of PNIPAAm and then the solution was warmed up to the polymerization temperature (40°C). On the other hand, the polymerization of AAm did not proceed when AAm was added into aqueous PNIPAAm solution during and after the phase separation above 32°C. Furthermore the polymerizability of AAm was remarkably affected by the concentration and molecular weight of the PNIPAAm additives. Under the condition of lower PNIPAAm concentration (0.30 mol/L), the increase in the molecular weight of PNIPAAm considerably increased the molecular weight of the resulting PAAm but decreased the yield of PAAm. Under the condition of higher PNIPAAm concentration (0.60 mol/L) the polymerizability was not so affected by the molecular weight of PNIPAAm, while the molecular weight of PAAm formed by using higher molecular weight PNIPAAm was higher than those of PAAm formed by using lower molecular weight PNIPAAm. Moreover, the molecular weight of PAAm formed by the PNIPAAm induced polymerization of AAm was much higher than that of the polymer obtained by the radical polymerization using AIBN in THF or VA‐ 061 in water. 相似文献
The electronic states of a series of saddle-shaped porphyrin complexes [Fe(OMTPP)L(2)](+) and [Fe(TBTXP)L(2)](+) have been examined in solution by (1)H NMR, (13)C NMR, and EPR spectroscopy and by magnetic measurements. While [Fe(OMTPP)(DMAP)(2)](+) and [Fe(TBTXP)(DMAP)(2)](+) maintain the low-spin (S = (1)/(2)) state, [Fe(OMTPP)(THF)(2)](+) and [Fe(TBTXP)(THF)(2)](+) exhibit an essentially pure intermediate-spin (S = (3)/(2)) state over a wide range of temperatures. In contrast, the Py and 4-CNPy complexes of OMTPP and TBTXP exhibit a spin transition from S = (3)/(2) to S = (1)/(2) as the temperature was decreased from 300 to 200 K. Thus, the magnetic behavior of these complexes is similar to that of [Fe(OETPP)Py(2)](+) reported in our previous paper (Ikeue, T.; Ohgo, Y.; Yamaguchi, T.; Takahashi, M.; Takeda, M.; Nakamura, M. Angew. Chem., Int. Ed. 2001, 40, 2617-2620) in the context that all these complexes exhibit a novel spin crossover phenomenon in solution. Close examination of the NMR and EPR data of [Fe(OMTPP)L(2)](+) and [Fe(TBTXP)L(2)](+) (L = Py, 4-CNPy) revealed, however, that these complexes adopt the less common (d(xz), d(yz))(4)(d(xy))(1) electron configuration at low temperature in contrast to [Fe(OETPP)Py(2)](+) which shows the common (d(xy))(2)(d(xz), d(yz))(3) electron configuration. These observations have been attributed to the flexible nature of the OMTPP and TBTXP cores as compared with that of OETPP; the relatively flexible OMTPP and TBTXP cores can ruffle the porphyrin ring and adopt the (d(xz), d(yz))(4)(d(xy))(1) electron configuration at low temperature. Therefore, this study reveals that the rigidity of porphyrin cores is an important factor in determining the spin crossover pathways. 相似文献
A nanosecond laser photolysis study was carried out for the Cr(III) porphyrin complexes of 2,3,7,8,12,13,17,18-octaethylporphyrin, [Cr(OEP)(Cl)(L)], and of 5,10,15,20-tetramesitylporphyrin, [Cr(TMP)(Cl)(L)], in toluene containing water and an excess amount of L (L = axial ligand). The laser photolysis generates the triplet excited state of the parent complex as well as a five-coordinate complex, [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)], produced by the photodissociation of the axial ligand L. The yields for the formation of the triplet state and the photodissociation of L are found to markedly depend on the nature of both L and porphyrin ligand. The five-coordinate [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)] readily reacts with both H(2)O and L in the bulk solution to give [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)(H(2)O)] and [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)(L)], respectively. The axial H(2)O ligand in [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)(H(2)O)] is then substituted by the ligand L to regenerate the original complex [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)(L)]. In principle, the substitution reaction takes place by the dissociative mechanism: the first step is the dissociation of H(2)O from [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)(H(2)O)], followed by the reaction of the five-coordinate [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)] with the ligand L to regenerate [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)(L)]. The rate constants for this ligand substitution reaction are found to exhibit bell-shaped ligand concentration dependence. The detailed kinetic analysis revealed that both ligands L and H(2)O in toluene make a hydrogen bond with the axial H(2)O ligand in [Cr(porphyrin)(Cl)(H(2)O)] to yield dead-end complexes for the substitution reaction. The reaction mechanisms are discussed on the basis of the substituent effects of the porphyrin peripheral groups and the kinetic parameters determined from the temperature dependence of the rate constants. 相似文献
Application of radiolabeled monoclonal anti-tumor antibodies for diagnosis and therapy has made remarkable progress in the past few years. Quantification of radiopharmaceutical localization is required adequate attenuation correction in SPECT imaging. Attenuation correction by transmission CT (TCT) data is one of the best method at present time. However, if a patient is moved between TCT and SPECT, this method is no more applicable. We developed a new attenuation correction algorithm by dual energy method, using 99mTc and 111In because of similarity of these linear attenuation coefficients. The new algorithm uses data of TCT with an external source of 99mTc, and requires another data from SPECT of 111In labeled monoclonal anti-tumor antibody, which are simultaneously obtained. TCT results in an attenuation map, which then serves as input into the final intrinsic correction algorithm to uncorrected SPECT data. In chest phantom experiment, the attenuation corrected SPECT images revealed nearly same distribution of actual radioactivity of 111In as compared to that of uncorrected one. 相似文献
Plasma-polymerized methyl methacrylate (PPMMA) film was produced by a radio-frequency glow discharge of methyl methacrylate (MMA) gas with argon. PPMMA deposited under a plasma of mild energy was separated into a soluble fraction (sol-PPMMA) and an insoluble matrix (insol-PPMMA), which is highly crosslinked, by solvent-extraction and filtration. The chemical structure of the sol-PPMMA was determined by pyrolysis/gas chromatography, IR spectroscopy, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and elemental analysis techniques. On the other hand, the structure of the insol-PPMMA was examined with IR spectroscopy, 13C-NMR with CP/MAS method, and elemental analysis. The crosslinking mechanism in the plasma polymerization of MMA is discussed on the basis of product analyses of the sol-PPMMA and the insol-PPMMA. 相似文献
Systematic reaction path exploration revealed the entire mechanism of Knowles's light-promoted catalytic intramolecular hydroamination. Bond formation/cleavage competes with single electron transfer (SET) between the catalyst and substrate. These processes are described by adiabatic processes through transition states in an electronic state and non-radiative transitions through the seam of crossings (SX) between different electronic states. This study determined the energetically favorable SET path by introducing a practical computational model representing SET as non-adiabatic transitions via SXs between substrate's potential energy surfaces for different charge states adjusted based on the catalyst's redox potential. Calculations showed that the reduction and proton shuttle process proceeded concertedly. Also, the relative importance of SET paths (giving the product and leading back to the reactant) varies depending on the catalyst's redox potential, affecting the yield. 相似文献
A new heterocycle, furo[4,3,2-de][1]benzopyran ( 2 ), was synthesized. A key step in the sequence was the allylic bromination of 3,4-dihydrofuro[4,3,2-de][1]benzopyran ( 8 ) to give 3-bromo-3,4-dihydrofuro[4,3,2-de][1]-benzopyran ( 10 ) using N-bromosuccinimide under irradiation and high dilution conditions. Bromide 10 was dealt with 1,8-diazabicyclo[5.4.0]undec-7-ene to afford compound 2 . Several reactions of 2 were examined. Protonation of 2 in trifluoroacetic acid occurred at the 2-position to form a pyrylium ion 12 . Catalytic hydrogenation of 2 with palladium on charcoal proceeded smoothly to give 8 . Reduction of 2 by sodium and ethanol afforded 3-ethyl-4-hydroxybenzofuran ( 14 ). Electrophilic substitutions of 2 such as formylation, acetylation, and bromination, occurred easily at the 2-position. The above results show that compound 2 has both properties of benzofuran and 4-methylenepyran. 相似文献
Cellulose, which comprises D-glucose and L-glucose (D,L-cellulose), was synthesized from D-glucose (1D) and L-glucose (1L) via cationic ring-opening polymerization. Specifically, the ring-opening copolymerization of 3-O-benzyl-2,6-di-O-pivaloyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (2D) and 3-O-benzyl-2,6-di-O-pivaloyl-β-D-glucopyranoside (2L), synthesized from compounds 1D and 1L, respectively, in a 1:1 ratio, afforded 3-O-benzyl-2,6-di-O-β-D,L-glucopyranan (3DL) with a degree of polymerization (DPn) of 28.5 (Mw/Mn?=?1.90) in quantitative yield. The deprotection of compound 3DL and subsequent acetylation proceeded smoothly to afford acetylated compound 4DL with a DPn of 18.6 (Mw/Mn?=?2.08). The specific rotation of acetylated compound 4DL was?+?0.01°, suggesting that acetylated compound 4DL was optically inactive cellulose triacetate. Furthermore, before acetylation, compound 4DL was an optically inactive cellulose comprising an almost racemic mixture of D-glucose and L-glucose. Compound 4DL was an amorphous polymer. This is the first reported synthesis of optically inactive D,L-cellulose.
