A Monte Carlo simulation is carried out to study thermodynamic properties of Cu-Au alloys using a face-centered-cubic (fcc) lattice-gas model. To obtain quantitatively accurate results, a Finnis-Sinclair-type potential, which has been widely used for molecular dynamics (MD) simulations, is employed. To overcome some shortcomings of lattice-gas models such as neglecting vibrational entropy, the potential is mapped onto the fcc lattice using the renormalization technique. The renormalized potential gives an improved Cu-Au phase diagram compared to the original MD potential applied directly on the lattice. 相似文献

N-Bis(methylthio)methylenecyanamide ( 1 ) was allowed to react with active methylene compounds (methyl cyanoacetate, dimethyl malonate, ethyl acetoacetate, ethyl phenylacetate) in the presence of potassium carbonate or potassium hydroxide in dimethyl sulfoxide followed by the treatment using appropriate a base or an acid to give the corresponding 6-methylthiouracil derivatives in 15–80% yields. Conformational isomerizations of radical-ions are studied both experimentally and theoretically. The representative systems of stilbenes, polyenes, and non-planar alicyclic compounds will be reviewed first. Then, the result of the study on the radical-cations of 1,4-dithiacyclohexane and ethane-1,4-dithiol will be presented. It is found that the former cation suffers a change from a chair form to a boat form and the latter from an anti- or a gauche-form to a cis form even in a rigid matrix. The conformational changes are manifested by drastic changes in the electronic absorption and ESR spectra. The strong “through-space” interaction between the lone pair orbitals of the sulfur atoms is responsible for the conformational changes. Ab initio MO calculations lend support to the analysis of the experimental results. 相似文献

4-Monodeuterated NAD(P)H model compounds (1,4,6,7-tetrahydro-1,6,11-trimethyl-5-oxo-5H-benzo[c]pyrido[2,3-e]az epin; 11Me-MMPAH) have been oxidized with a series of p-benzoquinone and its derivatives in the presence of Mg2+. The models have an axial chirality with respect to the orientation of carbonyl dipole, the dihedral angle of which is larger than 55 degrees out of the plane of dihydropyridine ring. Without Mg2+, the anti- (with respect to the carbonyl dipole) hydrogen is 3 to 32 times more reactive than the corresponding syn-hydrogen, whereas, when Mg2+ is present in the system, the selectivity is shifted toward the syn-preferency. Mg2+ plays the role of a Lewis acid catalyst to control the stereochemistry at the same time as it catalyzes the reaction. 相似文献

Plasma-polymerized methyl methacrylate (PPMMA) film was produced by a radio-frequency glow discharge of methyl methacrylate (MMA) gas with argon. PPMMA deposited under a plasma of mild energy was separated into a soluble fraction (sol-PPMMA) and an insoluble matrix (insol-PPMMA), which is highly crosslinked, by solvent-extraction and filtration. The chemical structure of the sol-PPMMA was determined by pyrolysis/gas chromatography, IR spectroscopy, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, and elemental analysis techniques. On the other hand, the structure of the insol-PPMMA was examined with IR spectroscopy, 13C-NMR with CP/MAS method, and elemental analysis. The crosslinking mechanism in the plasma polymerization of MMA is discussed on the basis of product analyses of the sol-PPMMA and the insol-PPMMA. 相似文献
