Hydroxymethylation of alkyl halides was achieved using paraformaldehyde as a radical C1 synthon in the presence of tetrabutylammonium cyanoborohydride as a hydrogen source. A low pressure microflow system was developed for palladium-catalyzed multiphase carbonylation reactions in an ionic liquid. [reaction: see text] Atom transfer carbonylation (ATC) of alkyl iodides leading to carboxylic acid esters is effectively accelerated by Pd(PPh(3))(4) and Mn(2)(CO)(10) under photoirradiation conditions. In the presence of amines, Pd(0) complexes affected double carbonylations leading to alpha-keto amides, whereas Mn(2)(CO)(10) accelerated only a single carbonylation reaction leading to the corresponding amides. The Pd(0)-accelerated ATC system was successfully applied to the synthesis of hinokinin and dihydrocapsaicin.  相似文献

‘Sono-functional’ molecule 1 was prepared and its binding properties to DNA under ultrasonic irradiation were studied by UV spectra. As a result, it was shown that the binding of 1 to DNA was enhanced by ultrasound. Being compared with its precursor 2, it is clear that terminal thiol groups of 1 play an important role in specific binding to DNA.  相似文献

Four epicatechins [(−)-epicatechin (EC), (−)-epicatechin gallate (ECg), (−)-epigallocatechin (EGC), (−)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCg)] and their corresponding copper complexes were compared with regard to their effect on the viability of Caco-2 colon cancer cells in vitro, measured by 3-(4,5-dimethylthyazol-2-yl) 2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. The viability of Caco-2 cells exposed to EC (1 mM), ECg (1 mM) or EGC (1mM) respectively, for 30 min, was comparable to that of the saline control group, while EGCg (1 mM) apparently enhanced cellular activity. in contrast, the cells treated with epicatechin-copper complexes were killed. Bivalent copper 91 mM), in similar conditions, did not affect the cells. No cell leakage or other histological differences were observed, implying a rapid cell death. The suggested mechanism of killing is by OH radical attack, produced in the presence of epicatechin-copper complexes, but not in the presence of either of the epicatechins or copper alone. Concentrations of 134+137Cs and 133Cs in aquatic macrophytes, water, and sediment were measured in samples collected from Fukushima Prefecture, Japan. The concentrations of 137Cs in submerged and floating-leaved plants were higher than the values for emergent plants according to their main Cs uptake mode. The geometric mean water-to-plant concentration ratio for 137Cs and 133Cs was comparable observed in submerged and floating-leaved plants, while the geometric mean sediment-to-plant concentration ratio for 137Cs in emergent plants was higher than that of 133Cs, which suggest that the mobility of Fukushima accident-derived 137Cs is not in steady state 4–5 years after the accident.
