Emission decay times of the new excimer were measured for undoped and perylene doped pyrene crystals. From the decay times obtained, the temperature dependence of the diffusion coefficient of the excimers was deduced by assuming a model in which two electronic states of the new excimer are involved in the energy transfer process. Within this model, it was found that in the upper excimer state the excimers migrated by a hopping process, while in the lower excimer state they migrated as free excimer excitons while undergoing phonon scattering. 相似文献

A high efficiency launcher of quasi-optical (QO) mode converters for high power gyrotrons have been designed and tested. A
helical cut launcher radiates the RF power via its straight cut onto the first phase correcting mirror. The launchers have
been optimized for the TE31.8 mode at 170 GHz and TE22.6 mode at 110 GHz by numerically optimizing a launcher surface. The helical cut of the launcher has been optimized by taking
the taper angle into account. Further more, the amplitude of the surface perturbation have been optimized for improved focusing
in order to reduce the diffraction losses at the helical cut. Low power measurement shows a good agreement with the design.
High efficiency characteristics of the design have also been calculated on the assumption of frequency downshift due to the
thermal expansion of the cavity and stepwise frequency tuning by changing the operating mode. Besides, the possibility of
high efficiency launcher for higher mode is discussed, and these results give the prospect to high efficiency long pulse gyrotrons. 相似文献

By stabilizing the beam pointing of optical trapping beams, we have succeeded in stable formation of Bose–Einstein condensate
(BEC) of 87Rb with all-optical method. The thermal effect of acousto-optic modulator (AOM) is usually one of the most serious problems
to induce beam-pointing instability, especially for high power CO2 laser. By passing the beam through AOM twice, we have improved the beam pointing from about 4.8 mrad to less than 0.4 mrad,
which has been experimentally confirmed to be small enough to stably form BEC at the crossed region of CO2 lasers as well as to perform experiments using an optical lattice which might have been affected by beam-pointing instability.

57Fe Mössbauer measurements have been perforned at the first time on iron nitrides, FeNx(x>0.5), films prepared by rf sputtering and the measurements for γ-FeN0.09, γ'-Fe4N, ε-Fe2–3N and ζ-Fe2N have been also performed. Two new phases for x>0.5 have been identified: One has a ZnS-type structure denoted by γ" Another phase is denoted by γ''' in which iron atoms constitute a fcc lattice but the details of occupation sites of nitrogen atoms are not yet clear. The isomer shift of γ" relative to α-Fe at 300 K is rather small in comparison with that of other well known nitrides. The roam temperature Mössbauer spectra of γ''' consist of a sum of two doublets. Mössbauer spectra of γ" at 10 K do not indicate magnetically split pattern, but those of γ''' show magnetically split patterns at 10 K with the hyperfine fields of 30 T and 48 T, respectively. A 10-Gbit/s optical receiver is developed using low-capacitance HBT IC technology. The HBT allows a cutoff frequency of 45 GHz and a maximum oscillation frequency of 70 GHz. The receiver contains an automatic gain-control amplifier IC with a gain of 16 dB, a bandwidth of 10.7 GHz, and a decision-circuit IC with an ambiguity of 66 mVp-p at a data rate of 10 Gbit/s. We present the first study of the gluonic excitation in the three-quark (3Q) system in SU(3) lattice QCD with beta=5.8 and 16(3) x 32 at the quenched level. For the spatially fixed 3Q system, we measure the gluonic excited-state potential, which is responsible for the properties of hybrid baryons. The lowest gluonic-excitation energy in the 3Q system is found to be about 1 GeV in the hadronic scale. This large gluonic-excitation energy is expected to bring about the success of the simple quark model without gluonic modes. 相似文献

We have confirmed biexciton formation in an organic-inorganic hybrid quantum-well material (C4H9NH3)2PbBr4 by photoluminescence and two-photon absorption measurements. The biexciton has extremely large binding energy, 60 meV, which to our knowledge is the largest value ever reported for a semiconductor. By analyzing the spectrum of biexciton luminescence, the biexciton gas temperature was found to be much higher than the bath temperature due to a higher local temperature arising from the large biexciton binding energy. 相似文献
