A simple fabrication method is demonstrated for surface‐enhanced Raman scattering (SERS)‐active plasmonic nanoballs, which consisted of Au nanoparticles (NPs) and core–shell polystyrene and amino‐terminated poly(butadiene) particles, by heterocoagulation and Au NP diffusion. The amount of Au NPs introduced into the core–shell particles increases with the concentration of Au NPs added to the aqueous dispersion of the core–shell particles. When the amount of Au NPs increases, closely packed, three‐dimensionally arranged and close‐packed Au NPs arrays are formed in the shells. Strong SERS signals from para‐mercaptophenol adsorbed onto composite particles with multilayered Au NPs arrays are obtained by near‐infrared (NIR) light illumination.  相似文献

This paper details an investigation into the enhancement of the water dissolution rate of mefenamic acid (MA) by means of a dry grinding treatment. The physico‐chemical properties of the ground MA particles were analyzed by measurements of specific surface area, powder X‐ray diffraction patterns, differential scanning calorimetry thermograms and infrared spectra, and the effects of the change in the physico‐chemical properties (especially, crystalline structure) on the dissolution rate were studied. The polymorphic transition from Form I (original) to II and the change of the molecular structure of MA did not occur in the grinding treatments. However, the specific surface area of the MA particles increased, and the crystallinity decreased (i.e., the amorphization level increased) as the grinding progressed. Hydrogen bonds formed between the carboxyl groups of the opposed asymmetric MA molecules were broken gradually after the grinding limit was attained in the grinding system, resulting in an effective improvement of the initial dissolution rate.  相似文献

We study the spaces of left-invariant Riemannian metrics on a Lie group up to isometry, and up to isometry and scaling. In this paper, we see that such spaces can be identified with the orbit spaces of certain isometric actions on noncompact symmetric spaces. We also study some Lie groups whose spaces of left-invariant metrics up to isometry and scaling are small.  相似文献

In this Letter, the enhancement of thermal radiation in the terahertz region is presented theoretically by using the spoof surface plasmon mode on the microcavity array. We found that the terahertz wave is radiated selectively in a vertical direction. As a result, a quasi-monochromatic terahertz source can be created.  相似文献

Lower loading of Fe (1 wt%) and higher reaction temperature (450 °C) led to higher and stable selectivity of C3+ olefins by ethanol conversion using Fe/H-ZSM-5 catalysts. Zwitterionic and cationic polyelectrolyte brushes were prepared by surface-initiated atom transfer radical polymerization of 2-methacryloyloxy- ethyl phosphorylcholine (MPC) and 2-(N,N-dimethylamino)ethyl methacrylate (DMAEMA), respectively. The poly(DMAEMA) brush was treated with methyl iodide to form poly[2-(methacryloyloxy) ethyltrimethylammonium iodide] [poly(METAI)]. The effects of ionic strength on brush structure and surface properties of densely grafted polyelectrolyte brushes were analyzed by contact angle measurements, neutron reflectivity (NR) and macroscopic friction tests. Both polyelectrolyte brushes exhibited hydrophilic properties. The contact angle of the poly(MPC) brush surface against water was ca. 0° in air and the contact angle of the air bubble in water was ca. 170°. The air bubble in water hardly attached to the poly(MPC) brush surface, indicating super hydrophilic characteristics. NR measurements of poly(MPC) and poly(METAI) brushes showed that the grafted polymer chains were extended from the substrate surface in a good solvent such as water. Interestingly, NR study did not reveal the shrinkage of the brush chain in salt solution. The polyelectrolyte brushes immersed in both water and NaCl solution at various concentrations showed a low friction coefficient and low adhesion force.  相似文献

X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) using fullerene (C60) cluster ion bombardment was applied to films of a fluorinated block copolymer. Spectra so obtained were essentially different from those using Ar ion beam. Structure in the surface region with the depth down to 60 nm drawn on the basis of XPS with C60 beam was essentially the same as the one drawn by the result using dynamic secondary ion mass spectrometry, which is a well-established method for the depth analysis of polymers. This implies that XPS using C60 beam enables one to gain access to the depth analysis of structure in polymer films with the depth range over the analytical depth of conventional XPS, that is, three times inelastic mean-free path of photoelectrons.  相似文献

The mechanical anisotropy of regenerated cellulose films is investigated, first, on the basis of the theory of infinitesimal elasticity. Fairly good agreement of calculated with observed results is obtained on the basis of orthogonal anisotropy with respect to the machine direction and the transverse and thickness directions of the films. The shear modulus G23 along the film plane and the Poisson ratio v32 are 1.5 times; 102 kg/mm2 and about 0.4, respectively, in the standard dry state. Second, the mechanical anisotropy in three different dry states is analyzed in terms of the degree of biaxial orientation of two kinds of structural units, cellulose II crystallites and noncrystalline chain segments, and their mechanical anisotropy. The calculation for averaging the mechanical anisotropies of these structural units on the basis of the homogeneous strain hypothesis gives results much higher than the experimental data, whereas the calculation on the basis on the homogeneous stress hypothesis gives results rather lower than experiment. As a modification of the two extreme calculations, a different averaging gives considerably better agreement between the calculated and observed results. The mechanical anisotropy in the wet state is further analyzed primarily in terms of the degree of biaxial orientation of noncrystalline chains by a modification of Krigbaum treatment, based on application of the kinetic theory of entropy elasticity for semicrystalline polymers, to anisotropic systems. The calculation gives results, however, much lower than those obtained experimentally, unless the ratio of the end-to-end distance of the noncrystalline chain to its fully stretched length is taken as unusually large. This may be due to underestimation of the contribution of the crystalline phase to terms of the same type as appear in the Krigbaum treatment.  相似文献

Mechanical relaxation behavior in ultrathin polystyrene (PS) films supported on silicon oxide (SiOx) and gold (Au) substrates has been studied by dynamic viscoelastic measurement. Based on the method, effects of free surface and substrate interface on the segmental dynamics were discussed. In the case of thin PS films with a thickness of approximately 200 nm, αa-relaxation process corresponding to the segmental motion did not show any deviation from the bulk behavior. In contrast, for the films thinner than about 50 nm, the relaxation time distribution for the αa-process became broader, probably due to a mobility gradient in the surface and interfacial regions. When we sandwiched an ultrathin PS film between SiOx layers, another relaxation process, in addition to the original αa-process, appeared at a higher temperature side that we assigned to the interfacial αa-relaxation process. However, this was never seen for an ultrathin PS film between Au layers, implying that restriction from the substrate interface might be weak in this case.  相似文献
