We performed a spectromicroscopic measurement on LiV2O4 in IR-THz (25 meV–1.5 eV) from 6–300 K under high pressures up to 20 GPa by using a DAC at the spectromicroscopy station (BL43IR) at SPring-8. At 40 K, a clear metal–insulator change was observed above 6 GPa in the optical conductivity spectra. The newly developed peak structure around 1 eV reflects the pseudo-gap forming under pressure at 40 K.  相似文献

Let S be a normal surface over an algebraically closed field k and let be a standard boundary. We consider index 1 covers of the purely log terminal pair (S,). We prove that when S is smooth and char k=p3, then is canonical under some conditions. To prove this, we classify the boundary =(1–1/bi)Di which makes (S,) a purely log terminal pair, and then reduce equations defining singularity of to the normal forms of RDP. Unfortunately there are some counterexamples in p=2, and we classify them. Low temperature magnetization measurements on the pyrochlore spin ice compound Dy2Ti2O7 reveal that the ice-rule breaking spin flip, appearing at H approximately 0.9 T applied parallel to the [111] direction, turns into a novel first-order transition for T<0.36 K which is most probably of a liquid-gas type. T-linear variation of the critical field observed down to 0.03 K suggests the unusual situation that the entropy release across the transition remains finite [approximately 0.5 (J/K) x mol-Dy] as T-->0, in accordance with a breaking of the macroscopic degeneracy in the intermediate "kagomé ice" state.  相似文献

The present investigation deals with the light-driven morphological changes in multilamella films of N-methyl-4-octadecyloxystilbazolium arylcarboxylates (C18OStz+X-) cast on glass slides. The results of XRD analysis show a photostimulated layer expansion and shrinkage of the stacked thin films along the c-axis under alternative illumination at >350 and 254 nm, respectively. It was revealed that such lamellar changes could be switched either way by a reversible transformation between the mono- and bilayer units in these stacked multilamella films. Moreover, such controlled structural adjustments in the alignment could be initiated by the photocyclodimerization of the stilbazolium moieties of the arylcarboxylate salts; i.e., a monolayer-to-bilayer transformation could be induced at a stage of only 10% cyclodimer formation. The photoinduced patterning on the surface of the films was also analyzed by SEM and fluorescence microscopic investigations.  相似文献

In Ni2+x Mn1?x Ga shape-memory ferromagnetic alloys with coincident magnetic and structural phase transitions, a reversible structural field-induced phase transition was observed at constant temperature and pressure in magnetic fields of about 10 T. We report measurements of the in-plane thermal conductivity kappa of the stoichiometric underdoped cuprate YBa2Cu4O8 (Y124) below 1 K. kappa(T) is shown to follow a simple phononic T3 dependence at the lowest temperature T for both current directions, with a negligible linear quasiparticle contribution. This observation is in marked contrast with behavior reported in optimally doped cuprates, and implies that extended zero-energy (or low-energy) quasiparticles are absent in Y124.  相似文献

Abstract

A sensitive method has been developed for the direct atomic absorption spectrometric determination of zinc, antimony and lead after coprecipitation of their trifluoroethylxanthates onto microcrystalline naphthalene. The metal xanthates are quantitatively coprecipitated over the pH ranges: Zn, 5.9–8.4; Sb, 4.0–6.0 and Pb, 4.0–11.0. The solid mass consisting of the metal complex and naphthalene is dissolved in DMF. This solution is aspirated into an air-acetylene flame at 213.9, 217.6 and 217.0nm for Zn, Sb and Pb, respectively. Beer's law is obeyed in the concentration range 2–50, 3–90 and 5–60 μg of Zn, Sb and Pb, respectively in 10ml of the final DMF solution. RSDs are at the ± (0.5–0.6)% level (n=10). The concentration for 1% absorption is 0.019, 0.035 and 0.060μg/ml for Zn, Sb and Pb, respectively. The method is suitable for the preconcentration of the metals from a larger volume of the aqueous phase, and has been employed for their determination in standard reference materials. It may be employed for the simultaneous determination of Zn, Pb and Sb in a solution by pH control.  相似文献

Analysis of IR and Raman spectra of Ar@C(60) and Kr@C(60) shows that the incorporation of noble gas atoms causes a blue shift of low energy vibrations, which have radial character, and a red shift of higher energy ones which have a tangential character movement. The mechanism of these phenomena is explained on the basis of ab initio numerical experiments with DFT and MP2 procedures. Methodological discussions are advanced, altogether with a scheme for the estimation of the van der Waals interaction between fullerene and noble gas, based on the frequency shifts.  相似文献
