Molecular mechanics calculations were carried out to interpret the observed orientational angle of the benzene molecule enclathrated in the Hofmann-type M(NH3)2Ni(CN)4·2 C6H6 (M = Mn, Ni, Cu, and Cd), Hofmann-en-type Cd(en)Ni(CN)4·2 C6H6 (en = NH2CH2CH2NH2), and Hofmannmea-type(2) Cd(mea)Ni(CN)4·2 C6H6 (mea = NH2CH2CH2OH) clathrates using the van der Waals potential functions in Molecular Mechanics Version 2. The angle is most influenced by the guest-to-guest contact in the interlayer space between the two-dimensionalcatena-[metal(II) tetra--cyanonickelate(II)] networks for the Hofmann-type series. The discrepancy between the calculated and the observed angles in each crystal structure was at largest 3.5°; the structures of Cd(NH3)2Ni(CN)4·2 C6H6 and Cd(en)Ni(CN)4·2 C6H6 have been revised using new data collected by counter-methods.  相似文献

The H64D/V68A and H64D/V68S mutants of Myoglobin are found to oxidize thioanisole with high enantioselectivity and reactivity. These mutants are also capable of enantioselective binding of alpha-methylbenzylamine, which mimics an expected sulfoxidation intermediate. The kinetic study of the amine binding shows that the Fe-O bond cleavage in the intermediate may be the chiral discrimination step of the sulfoxidation.  相似文献

The guest-release process was investigated in terms of the activation energy evaluated by thermogravimetry for the en-Td-type clathratescatena--[catena--(ethylenediamine)cadmium(II) tetra--cyanocadmate(II) or -mercurate(II)]-benzene(1/2), -benzene-d 6(1/2), and -pyrrole(1/2), the Hofmannen-type clathratescatena-[catena--(ethylenediamine)cadmium(II) tetra--cyanonickelate(Il)]-benzene (1/2) and -pyrrole(1/2), the Hofmann-pn-type clathratecatena-[catena--(dl- orl-propylenediamine (cadmium(II) tetra--cyanonickelate(II)]-pyrrole(2/3), and the pn-Td-type clathratescatena-[catena--(dl-propylenediamine) or -(l-propylenediamine)cadmium(II) tetra--cyanocadmate(II)]-benzene(2/3). Values of the activation energy are correlated with the structural change in the metal complex host accompanied by the release of the guest molecules. The crystal structure ofcatena-[ethylenediaminecadmium tetra--cyanonickelate(II)], the residual host of the Hofmann-en-type, has been analyzed to elucidate the correlation.  相似文献

The decomposition of 2-propylphenol (PP) at 673 K and a water density of 0–0.5 g cm−3 yielded 2-isopropylphenol (IPP), phenol and 2-cresol. Gas products were methane, carbon dioxide, ethylene and propene. The decomposition was found to occur through rearrangement and alkylation, that is, (1) rearrangement of the propyl functional group from PP to IPP, (2) dealkylation of PP to phenol, (3) dealkylation of PP to 2-cresol. The decomposition probably occurred by a free-radical mechanism. The reaction rate constants of each pathway were determined and it was found that these were invariant over all the water densities studied at the given temperature.  相似文献

Various carbamates were synthesized in highly pure form without the need for chromatographic purification. Poly(styrene) (PST) coatings of monodispersed colloidal metal oxide particles by surface grafting to poly(N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone) (ST–PVP) or quaternized poly(4-vinylpyridine) (ST-PVPy(Me)) macromer, having a vinylphenylene end group, were investigated. Radical polymerization of styrene (ST) in ethanolic silica colloid in the presence of ST-PVP successfully led to the formation of monodispersed PST/PVP copolymer/SiO2composites. The addition of divinylbenzene (DVB) to the reaction system gave SiO2 composites coated with crosslinked PST. Graft-polymerization of ST to ST-PVP also took place on TiO2, CeO2 and Al(OH)3 colloidal particles in ethanolic solution. However, ST-PVPy(Me) adsorbed on colloidal silica did not effectively graft PST.  相似文献

New methods for the synthesis of artificial metalloenzymes are important for the construction of novel biocatalysts and biomaterials. Recently, we reported new methodology for the synthesis of artificial metalloenzymes by reconstituting apo-myoglobin with metal complexes (Ohashi, M. et al., Angew Chem., Int. Ed. 2003, 42, 1005-1008). However, it has been difficult to improve their reactivity, since their crystal structures were not available. In this article, we report the crystal structures of M(III)(Schiff base).apo-A71GMbs (M = Cr and Mn). The structures suggest that the position of the metal complex in apo-Mb is regulated by (i) noncovalent interaction between the ligand and surrounding peptides and (ii) the ligation of the metal ion to proximal histidine (His93). In addition, it is proposed that specific interactions of Ile107 with 3- and 3'-substituent groups on the salen ligand control the location of the Schiff base ligand in the active site. On the basis of these results, we have successfully controlled the enantioselectivity in the sulfoxidation of thioanisole by changing the size of substituents at the 3 and 3' positions. This is the first example of an enantioselective enzymatic reaction regulated by the design of metal complex in the protein active site.  相似文献

Disruption of the parvulin family peptidyl prolyl isomerase (PPIase) Pin1 gene delays reentry into the cell cycle when quiescent primary mouse embryo fibroblasts are stimulated with serum. Since Pin1 regulates cell cycle progression, a Pin1 inhibitor would be expected to block cell proliferation. To identify such inhibitors, we screened a chemical compound library for molecules that inhibited human Pin1 PPIase activity in vitro. We found a set of compounds that inhibited Pin1 PPIase activity in vitro with low microM IC50s and inhibited the growth of several cancer lines. Among the inhibitors, PiB, diethyl-1,3,6,8-tetrahydro-1,3,6,8-tetraoxobenzo[lmn] phenanthroline-2,7-diacetate ethyl 1,3,6,8-tetrahydro-1,3,6,8-tetraoxo-benzo[lmn] phenanthroline-(2H,7H)-diacetate, had the least nonspecific toxicity. These results suggest that Pin1 inhibitors could be used as a novel type of anticancer drug that acts by blocking cell cycle progression.  相似文献

Ba(Zr,Ti)O3/LaNiO3 layered thin films have been synthesized by chemical solution deposition (CSD) using metal-organic precursor solutions. Ba(Zr,Ti)O3 thin films with smooth surface morphology and excellent dielectric properties were prepared on Pt/TiO x /SiO2/Si substrates by controlling the Zr/Ti ratios in Ba(Zr,Ti)O3. Chemically derived LaNiO3 thin films crystallized into the perovskite single phase and their conductivity was sufficiently high as a thin-film electrode. Ba(Zr,Ti)O3/LaNiO3 layered thin films of single phase perovskite were fabricated on SiO2/Si and fused silica substrates. The dielectric constant of a Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 thin film prepared at 700°C on a LaNiO3/fused silica substrate was found to be approximately 830 with a dielectric loss of 5% at 1 kHz and room temperature. Although the Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 thin film on the LaNiO3/fused silica substrate showed a smaller dielectric constant than the Ba(Zr0.2Ti0.8)O3 thin film on Pt/TiO x /SiO2/Si, small temperature dependence of dielectric constant was achieved over a wide temperature range. Furthermore, the fabrication of the Ba(Zr,Ti)O3/LaNiO3 films in alternate thin layers similar to a multilayer capacitor structure was performed by the same solution deposition process.  相似文献
