Photomasks are the backbone of microfabrication industries. Currently they are fabricated by a lithographic process, which
is very expensive and time consuming since it is a multi-step process. These issues can be addressed by fabricating photomasks
by direct femtosecond laser writing, which is a single-step process and comparatively cheaper and faster than lithography.
In this paper we discuss our investigations on the effect of two types of laser writing techniques, namely front- and rear-side
laser writing, with regard to the feature size and the edge quality of a feature. It is proved conclusively that for the patterning
of masks, front-side laser writing is a better technique than rear-side laser writing with regard to smaller feature size
and better edge quality. Moreover the energy required for front-side laser writing is considerably lower than that for rear-side
laser writing.

In this paper, we study a problem central to crossdocking that aims to eliminate or minimize storage and order picking activity using JIT scheduling. The problem is modelled naturally as a machine scheduling problem. As the problem is NP-hard, and for real-time applications, we designed and implemented two heuristics. The first uses Squeaky Wheel Optimization embedded in a Genetic Algorithm and the second uses Linear Programming within a Genetic Algorithm. The interfacial electronic structures of molybdenum oxide (MoOx) deposited on fullerene (C60) which could be used as a hole-injecting layer in inverted top-emitting organic light-emitting diodes (TE-OLEDs) were investigated by photoemission spectroscopy. The hole-injecting barrier height (ΦBh) at each interface investigated by an ultraviolet photoemission spectroscopy was reduced to from 1.4 to 0.1 eV as the thickness of MoOx (ΘMoOx) was increased from 0.1 to 5.0 nm on C60. In these interface system, the sign of vacuum-level shift, highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO)-level shift, and core-level shifts were all positive indicating that the interface mechanism is attributed to the work-function differences due to a band bending at these interfaces. Moreover, the near-edge X-ray absorption fine structure spectra at carbon K-edge did not show any structural modification as well as any chemical reaction at the MoOx-on-C60 interfaces when ΘMoOx was changed on C60. From these results, the inverted TE-OLED with C60 (5.0 nm)/MoOx (5.0 nm) showed the power efficiency of 1.7 lm/W at a luminance of about 1000 cd/m2 and the maximum luminance of about 76.000 cd/m2 at the bias voltage of 11.0 V. It exhibited the highest performance among the inverted TE-OLEDs fabricated as a function of MoOx thickness from 0 to 5.0 nm. 相似文献

We consider an integrated problem of plant location and capacity planning for components procurement in knockdown production systems. The problem is that of determining the schedule of opening components manufacturing plants, plans for acquisition of capacities in opened components manufacturing plants, and plans for components procurement in final assembly plants with the objective of minimizing the sum of fixed costs for opening plants, acquisition and operation costs of facilities, and delivery and subcontracting costs of components. The problem is formulated as a mixed integer linear program and solved by a two-stage solution procedure. In the solution procedure, the problem is decomposed into two tractable subproblems and these subproblems are solved sequentially. In the first stage, a dynamic plant location problem is solved using a cut and branch algorithm based on Gomory cuts, while a multiperiod capacity planning problem is solved in the second stage by a heuristic algorithm that uses a cut and branch algorithm and a variable reduction scheme. The solution procedure is tested on problems of a practical size and results show that the procedure gives reasonably good solutions. 相似文献

In this paper, integration of interference phenomenon into femtosecond laser micromachining was reported as the femtosecond laser pulses were reshaped spatially to perform ablation. The generation of circular interference pattern was demonstrated by overlapping infrared femtosecond laser pulses. The interference pattern was subsequently focused on a copper substrate to ablate microstructures of concentric circular rings. MMoO4 (M=Ca, Ba) particles were synthesized by a metathetic reaction in ethylene glycol assisted by cyclic microwave irradiation followed by further heat-treatment. The MMoO4 (M=Ca, Ba) particles were well crystallized after heat-treatment at 400–600 °C for 3 h. The microstructures exhibited fine morphologies with sizes of 0.5–1 μm and 1.5–2 μm for the CaMoO4 and BaMoO4 particles, respectively. The synthesized MMoO4 (M=Ca, Ba) particles were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy and transmission electron microscopy. Efficient water electrolysis catalyst is highly demanded for the production of hydrogen as a sustainable energy fuel. It is reported that cobalt derived nanoparticle (CoS2, CoP, CoS|P) decorated reduced graphene oxide (rGO) composite aerogel catalysts for highly active and reliable hydrogen evolution reaction electrocatalysts. 7 nm level cobalt derived nanoparticles are synthesized over graphene aerogel surfaces with excellent surface coverage and maximal expose of active sites. CoS|P/rGO hybrid aerogel composites show an excellent catalytic activity with overpotential of ≈169 mV at a current density of ≈10 mA cm?2. Accordingly, efficient charge transfer is attained with Tafel slope of ≈52 mV dec?1 and a charge transfer resistance (Rct) of ≈12 Ω. This work suggests a viable route toward ultrasmall, uniform nanoparticles decorated graphene surfaces with well‐controlled chemical compositions, which can be generally useful for various applications commonly requiring large exposure of active surface area as well as robust interparticle charger transfer. 相似文献
