Large-scale isolation of the minor nucleoside wyosine of torula yeast tRNA(Phe) was accomplished by a combination of enzymatic digestion and reversed-phase chromatography: the wyosine-containing nucleotide fraction, which was obtained by partial digestion of unfractionated tRNA (1 g) with nuclease P1, was concentrated by reversed-phase column chromatography followed by complete digestion with nuclease P1/alkaline phosphatase. The nucleoside mixture thus obtained was purified by reversed-phase HPLC, providing wyosine (70 microg). Comparison of this nucleoside with a chemically synthesized authentic sample has unambiguously established that the structure of wyosine is 4,6-dimethyl-3-beta-D-ribofuranosyl-3,4-dihydro-9H-imidazo[1,2-a]purin-9-one (2). 相似文献

A highly anisotropic growth morphology is found for heteroepitaxial gallium sesquiselenide (Ga2Se3) on the lattice matched substrate, arsenic-terminated Si(001). Scanning tunneling microscopy of Ga2Se3 films reveals nanoscale, wirelike structures covering the surface in parallel lines, less than 1 nm wide and up to 30 nm long. Core-level photoemission spectroscopy and diffraction reveals the local structure of buried Ga and Se atoms to reflect the bulk, defected zinc-blende structure of beta-Ga2Se3, which contains ordered 110 arrays of Ga vacancies. These ordered vacancy lines are proposed to be responsible for the observed growth anisotropy in heteroepitaxial Ga2Se3. 相似文献

Three new alpha-glucosidase inhibitors, schulzeines A-C (1-3), were isolated from the marine sponge Penares schulzei. Their structures were elucidated by spectral analysis and chemical degradations to be the isoquinoline alkaloids, encompassing two amino acids, and C(28) fatty acid, the last of which was sulfated. Absolute stereochemistry of schulzeines was determined by application of the modified Mosher analysis to fragments obtained by chemical degradation. Pulsed laser deposition of PTFE was carried out using a 1064-nm laser. Two different pulse regimes were examined to determine their effectiveness in causing deposition. The first of these consisted of a 20-ns Gaussian pulse, while the second was a pulse train comprising twenty 1-s pulses with a total duration time of 100-s. The main feature of the deposition technique that we present in this work is that ablation is induced by the efficient photothermal sensitization of graphite particles that are used to lightly dope (0.1 wt.%) a PTFE target. Both of the pulse regimes produced thin films whose infrared spectra were similar to that of PTFE. For the ns-pulse, however, carbon particles were contained in the deposited films. This behavior can be easily interpreted within the framework of photothermal ablation. For the s pulse train, homogeneous heating is achieved due to the long thermal diffusion length, which is comparable to the average distance between the graphite particles used to dope the PTFE target. The thin PTFE films are deposited mainly by the mechanism of monomer re-polymerization. The present study demonstrates that near-infrared lasers of the s-pulse type, which are versatile, economical and widely used in industry, are capable of the deposition of PTFE. Hydroquinone (HQ) adlayers were formed on Pt(111) in HF solution and in a vacuum. By using scanning tunneling microscopy (STM) in solution, it was revealed that HQ formed an ordered structure on Pt(111) with a strong attractive interaction between two adjacent hydroxyl groups in neighboring HQ molecules. After the sample was transferred into a vacuum, low-energy electron diffraction (LEED) measurement was performed, which showed that the (2.56 x 2.56)R16 degrees incommensurate structure of the HQ adlayer was formed in solution. The HQ adlayer on Pt(111) was formed also by vapor deposition, and the identical (2.56 x 2.56)R16 degrees adlayer structure was found by LEED and STM in a vacuum. 相似文献

A semi-Lévy process is an additive process with periodically stationary increments. In particular, it is a generalization of a Lévy process. The dichotomy of recurrence and transience of Lévy processes is well known, but this is not necessarily true for general additive processes. In this paper, we prove the recurrence and transience dichotomy of semi-Lévy processes. For the proof, we introduce a concept of semi-random walk and discuss its recurrence and transience properties. An example of semi-Lévy process constructed from two independent Lévy processes is investigated. Finally, we prove the laws of large numbers for semi-Lévy processes. 相似文献
