An experimental study has been performed to explore gas absorption in a nanofluid solvent. Propane and propylene were separately absorbed in a non-aqueous based nanofluid composed of N-methyl 2-pyrolidone (NMP) + small amount of TiO2 nanoparticle. Absorption was performed at different initial pressures and nanoparticle concentrations. Results showed that the addition of small amount of nanoparticle enhances the rate of absorption. Nanofluid decreased the time needed to achieve equilibrium and increased the maximum amount of gas absorbed.  相似文献

The dynamics of polymer melts and concentrated solutions reinforced with nanoscale rigid spherical particles is analyzed. Nanocomposites with low filler volume fraction and strong polymer-filler interactions are considered. Entanglement effects are represented by requiring the diffusion in the chain contour direction to be more pronounced than in the direction transverse to the chain primitive path. Filler particles are treated as material points. They reduce the polymer mobility in both longitudinal and transverse tube directions due to short-range energetic filler-polymer interactions. Hence, the contribution to chain dynamics and stress production of both filler-polymer and polymer-polymer interactions is considered to be purely frictional in nature. In the model, the strain rate sensitivity is associated with the thermal motion of chains, with the convective relaxation of entanglement constrains and with the polymer-filler attachment/detachment process. The effect of model parameters is discussed and the predictions are compared with experimental data.  相似文献

In order to evaluate the influence of static magnetic fields (SMF) on the progression of cell cycle as a monitor of presumptive genotoxicity of these fields, the effects of a 15 mT SMF on cell cycle progression in rat bone marrow stem cells (BMSC) were examined. The cells were divided into two groups. One group encountered SMF alone for 5 h continuously but the other group exposed with X ray before treatment with SMF. The population of cells did not show any significant difference in the first group but the second group that was exposed with acute radiation before encountering SMF showed a significant increase in the number of cells in G2/M phase. So SMF has intensified the effects of X ray, where SMF alone, did not had any detectable influence on cell cycle.These findings suggest that magnetic fields (MF) play their role by increasing the effects of genotoxic agents and because of the greater concentration of free radicals in the presence of radical pair producers, this effect is better detectable.  相似文献

We study the effect of gain saturation on the propagation of fundamental dark soliton in a nonlinear, dispersive and amplifying medium. The Er+ 3-doped, Ga5Ge20Sb10S65 chalcogenide glass is used for dark and erbium doped silicon glass for bright solitons. The numerical simulations show that dark soliton doesn't split to subpulses unlike bright soliton and also the dark soliton is more stable in the presence of gain saturation and gain dispersion effects. So the chalcogenide glasses are suitable for designing all optical devices.  相似文献

Deng entropy and extropy are two measures useful in the Dempster–Shafer evidence theory (DST) to study uncertainty, following the idea that extropy is the dual concept of entropy. In this paper, we present their fractional versions named fractional Deng entropy and extropy and compare them to other measures in the framework of DST. Here, we study the maximum for both of them and give several examples. Finally, we analyze a problem of classification in pattern recognition in order to highlight the importance of these new measures.  相似文献

The thermodynamic parameters of interaction between theophylline and Human Serum Albumin (HSA) in buffer solution (30 mM) of pH = 7 at 27 °C was investigated by isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC). The thermodynamic quantities of the binding mechanism, the number of binding sites (g), the dissociation binding constant (K d), the molar enthalpy of binding (ΔΗ) and other thermodynamic parameters can be obtained by the extended solvation theory.  相似文献

An efficient method based on operational Tau matrix is developed, to solve a type of system of nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations (IDEs). The presented method is also modified for the problems with separable kernel. Error estimation of the new schemes are analyzed and discussed. The advantages of this approach and its modification is that, the solution can be expressed as a truncated Taylor series, and the error function at any stage can be estimated. Methods are applied on the four problems with separable kernel to show the applicability and efficiency of our schemes, specially for those problems at broad intervals.  相似文献

In 2015, Lad, Sanfilippo and Agrò proposed an alternative measure of uncertainty dual to the entropy known as extropy. This paper provides some results on a dispersion measure of extropy of random variables which is called varextropy and studies several properties of this concept. Especially, the varextropy measure of residual and past lifetimes, order statistics, record values and proportional hazard rate models are discussed. Moreover, the conditional varextropy is considered and some properties of this measure are studied. Finally, a new stochastic comparison method, named varextropy ordering, is introduced and some of its properties are presented.  相似文献
