In this study, the capability of the prepared polyaniline-coated Fe(3) O(4) nanoparticles for magnetic solid-phase extraction of three parabens from environmental wastewater, cream, and toothpaste samples is presented. Synthesized Fe(3) O(4) nanoparticles were coated with sulfate-doped polyaniline via polymerization of aniline in the presence of Fe(3) O(4) nanoparticles and sulfuric acid. Here, polyaniline-coated Fe(3) O(4) nanoparticles are presented as anion exchange sorbent, which extract anionic form of parabens via anion exchange with dopant of polyaniline. The experimental conditions affecting extraction efficiency were further studied and optimized. The experimental results showed that maximum extraction efficiency can be obtained at 70 mL sample solution of pH 8, extraction and desorption times of 2 and 1 min, respectively, 100 μL of 3% (v/v) acetic acid in acetonitrile as eluent, and 100 mg of the adsorbent. Under these conditions, the linear dynamic ranges were 0.5-100 μg/L with good correlation coefficients (0.998-0.999). The detection limits were in the range of 0.3-0.4 μg/L and the relative standard deviations were less than 2.4 (n = 5) for the three parabens. Finally, this fast and efficient method was further employed for determination of target analytes in cream, toothpaste, and environmental wastewater samples and satisfactory results were obtained.  相似文献

Arrays of planar symmetric coupled oligomers support higher sensitivity optical response than uncoupled plasmonic systems. In this work, the transition from isolated to collective optical modes in plasmonic oligomers, such as pentamers and quadrumers, is investigated via experimental characterization and simulation with good agreement. The designed and fabricated metallic oligomers consist of a single central disk and outer ring-like disks in nanoscales. It is shown that while the far-field spectral responses of oligomers are polarization-independent, due to the structure symmetry, the spatial localization of near-field energy in nanogaps can be polarization-controlled. This localization is established at a normal-incident light of a single source rather than co-illumination by two light sources accompanied by different incident angles or phase shift. It can overcome the spatial restrictions of conventional optics. The influence of the nano-disk sizes and gaps among them on the intensity and shape of the localized near-field energy in pentamers and quadrumers is also studied.  相似文献

With the emergence of multidrug resistant Salmonella strains, the development of anti-Salmonella vaccines is an important task. Currently there are no approved vaccines against Salmonella Paratyphi A, the leading cause of paratyphoid fever. To fill this gap, oligosaccharides corresponding to the O-polysaccharide repeating units from the surface of Salmonella Paratyphi A have been synthesized through convergent stereoselective glycosylations. The synthetic glycan antigen was conjugated with a powerful immunogenic carrier system, the bacteriophage Qβ. The resulting construct was able to elicit strong and long-lasting anti-glycan IgG antibody responses, which were highly selective toward Salmonella Paratyphi A associated glycans. The availability of well-defined glycan antigen enabled the determination that one repeating unit of the polysaccharide is sufficient to induce protective antibodies, and the paratose residue and/or the O-acetyl modifications on the backbone are important for recognition by antibodies elicited by a Qβ-tetrasaccharide conjugate. Immune sera provided excellent protection to mice from lethal challenge with Salmonella Paratyphi A, highlighting the potential of the synthetic glycan-based vaccine.  相似文献

In this work, graphene oxide was functionalized with chitosan (GO‐Chit) followed by a simple approach for immobilization of palladium nanoparticles onto a chitosan grafted graphene oxide surface. The Pd‐nanocomposite (GO‐Chit‐Pd) was characterized using Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM), Fourier transforms infrared spectroscopy (FT‐IR), and X‐ray diffraction (XRD) measurements. The catalytic activity of the prepared heterogeneous graphene oxide functionalized chitosan‐palladium (GO‐Chit‐Pd) was investigated in term of C‐N coupling reaction (Buchwald‐Hartwig amination reaction of aryl halides) yielding products of N‐arylamines. The easy purification, convenient operation, and environmental friendliness, combined with a high yield, render this method viable for use in both laboratory research and larger industrial scales. Studying the reusability of the catalyst in this work showed that it could be reused for five times without obvious loss in catalytic activity.  相似文献

A rapid, simple and efficient procedure is demonstrated for extraction and determination of an endocrine-disrupting compound, synthetic estrogen, 17α-ethynylestradiol (EE2), in water and wastewater samples via magnetic solid-phase extraction followed by high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with UV detection. The analytical method is based on extraction of EE2 by dispersing magnetic nanoparticles in sample solution for a desired time and then eluting the analytes with an appropriate solvent. The nanoparticles were modified with a hydrophobic material by self-assembling an organosulfur compound (bis-(2,4,4-trimethylpentyl)-dithiophosphinic acid) onto the silver-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles as sorbent. The effects of several parameters, such as amount of sorbent, sample volume, extraction time, ionic strength and desorption conditions, were examined to obtain better efficiency. The optimized methodology exhibited a good linearity between 0.5 and 100 μg L?1 with a limit of detection (LOD) of 0.3 μg L?1, and a preconcentration factor of 245 with intra- and inter-day precisions (relative standard deviations) 2.4 and 3.2 %, respectively. The developed method was successfully applied for extraction and determination of EE2 in different real water samples including river water, surface water and influent and effluent of a wastewater treatment plant, and satisfactory results were achieved. The method, which provides a good preconcentration factor, a low LOD and low consumption of the organic solvent, presents a rapid, simple and efficient procedure for determining EE2 in aqueous samples.  相似文献

In the present work, a novel type of superparamagnetic nanosorbent, polythiophene-coated Fe3O4 nanoparticles (Fe3O4@PTh NPs), have been successfully synthesized. The synthesized NPs were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Fourier transform-infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy, and thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA). The synthesized Fe3O4@PTh NPs were applied as an efficient sorbent for extraction and preconcentration of several typical plasticizer compounds (di-n-butyl phthalate (DBP), di-(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), and dioctyl adipate (DOA)) from environmental water samples. Separation of Fe3O4@PTh NPs from the aqueous solution was simply achieved by applying external magnetic field. Separation and determination of the extracted plasticizers was performed by gas chromatography–flame ionization detection (GC–FID). Several variables affecting the extraction efficiency of the analytes i.e., amount of NPs sorbent, salt concentration, extraction time, and desorption conditions were investigated and optimized. The best working conditions were as follows: amount of sorbent, 100 mg; NaCl concentration, 30% (w/v); sample volume, 45 mL; extraction time, 10 min; and 100 μL of ethyl acetate for desorption of the analytes within 2 min. Under optimized conditions, preconcentration factors for DBP, DEHP, and DOA were obtained as 86, 194, and 213, respectively. The calibration curves were linear (R2 > 0.998) in the concentration range of 0.4–100 μg L−1 for both DEHP and DOA and 0.7–100 μg L−1 for DBP. The limits of detection (LODs) were obtained in the range of 0.2–0.4 μg L−1. The intra-day relative standard deviations (RSDs%) based on four replicates were obtained in the range of 4.0–12.3%. The proposed procedure was applied to analysis of water samples including river water, bottled mineral water, and boiling water exposed to polyethylene container (after cooling) and recoveries between 85 and 99% and RSDs lower than 12.8% were obtained.  相似文献

In this paper, we are concerned with the numerical approximation of stochastic differential equations with discontinuous/nondifferentiable drifts. We show that under one-sided Lipschitz and general growth conditions on the drift and global Lipschitz condition on the diffusion, a variant of the implicit Euler method known as the split-step backward Euler (SSBE) method converges with strong order of one half to the true solution. Our analysis relies on the framework developed in [D. J. Higham, X. Mao and A. M. Stuart, Strong convergence of Euler-type methods for nonlinear stochastic differential equations, SIAM Journal on Numerical Analysis, 40 (2002) 1041-1063] and exploits the relationship which exists between explicit and implicit Euler methods to establish the convergence rate results.  相似文献

Let K   be a hypergroup with a Haar measure. The purpose of the present paper is to initiate a systematic approach to the study of the class of invariant complemented subspaces of L(K)L(K) and C0(K)C0(K), the class of left translation invariant w?w?-subalgebras of L(K)L(K) and finally the class of non-zero left translation invariant C?C?-subalgebras of C0(K)C0(K) in the hypergroup context with the goal of finding some relations between these function spaces. Among other results, we construct two correspondences: one, between closed Weil subhypergroups and certain left translation invariant w?w?-subalgebras of L(K)L(K), and another, between compact subhypergroups and a specific subclass of the class of left translation invariant C?C?-subalgebras of C0(K)C0(K). By the help of these two characterizations, we extract some results about invariant complemented subspaces of L(K)L(K) and C0(K)C0(K).  相似文献
