Polyurethane (PU) have been prepared by using polyether polyol (jagropol oil) and 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate (HMDI) as a cross-linker. The organically modified montmorillonite clay (o-MMT) is well dispersed into urethane matrix by in-situ polymerization method. A series of PU/o-MMT nanocomposites have been prepared by varying amounts viz., 1, 3, 5 and 6 wt % of nanoclay. The mechanical properties such as tensile strength, percentage elongation at break and tensile modulus of the composites were experimentally determined. The swelling behavior of the composites has been studied in different organic solvents. It was noticed that the swelling data of the composites significantly depends on the solubility parameters of the solvents. Microcrystalline parameters such as, lattice strain (g in %), average number of unit cells (〈N〉) in direction perpendicular to Bragg plane, surface weighted crystal size (D s) and interplanar distance (d hkl ), were calculated from X-ray patterns. These parameters were computed using Exponential asymmetric column length distribution functions. Morphological features of cryofractured PU/o-MMT composites were also analyzed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).  相似文献

Wound healing, one of the most complex processes of the body involving the cooperation of several important biomolecules and pathways, is one of the major therapeutic and economic issues in regenerative medicine. The present study aimed to introduce a novel electrospun curcumin (Cur)‐incorporated chitosan/polyvinyl alcohol/carbopol/polycaprolactone nanofibrous composite for concurrent delivery of the buccal fat pad‐derived mesenchymal stem cells (BFP‐MSCs) and Cur to a full‐thickness wound on the mouse model. Scaffolds were characterized structurally using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), fluorescence microscopy imaging and Fourier‐transform infrared spectroscopy, and toxicity of the scaffolds was also evaluated after BFP‐MSC seeding by SEM imaging and 3‐(4,5 dimethyiazol‐2‐1)‐2‐5‐diphenyl tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay. Then, its influence on the wound‐healing process was investigated as a wound dressing for a full‐thickness skin defect in mouse model. Results demonstrated that the designed composite scaffolds have the capability for cell seeding and support their growth and proliferation. Macroscopic and histopathological characteristics were evaluated at the end of the 7 and 14 days after surgery, and their results showed that our designed scaffold groups accelerated the wound‐healing process compared with the control group. Among those, scaffold/Cur, scaffold/Cur/BFP‐MSC and scaffold/BFP‐MSC groups demonstrated more wound repair efficacy. These results indicated that the combined grafts can be used to improve the wound‐healing process, and therefore, the electrospun nanofibers presented in this study, Cur and BFP‐MSC together, were demonstrated to have promising potential for wound‐dressing applications.  相似文献

Mercury adsorption by sulfur impregnated adsorbents seems to be one of the most efficient ways for removal of this toxic metal ion from wastewater and atmosphere. The aim of this work was to develop a method for preparation of low-cost sulfurized adsorbent from agricultural wastes; this approach combines two stages of (i) chemical activation with phosphoric acid and (ii) impregnation with powdered sulfur, in one step only. The physico-chemical properties of sulfurized adsorbent (AC-S) were determined with BET, FT-IR, Eschka method and pHPZC measurements, and compared with those of the virgin sample (AC). It was found that sulfurization according to this method can introduce about 8 wt.% sulfur into the structure of adsorbent, in the forms of C–S, S–H, S–S and S=O functional groups. Although during the sulfur introduction processes, a decrease in surface area and micropore volume of the sulfurized adsorbent is to be expected, not only such decrease did not occur in this work, but a large increase in microporosity was seen. Thereupon, both the sulfur functionalities and extended microporosity of AC-S lead to higher capability of this sample for mercury adsorption rather than AC. Finally, the kinetics and equilibrium of mercury adsorption from aqueous solutions were studied for AC and AC-S.  相似文献

The hydrolysis of the meso-cyclopropane-1,2-dicarboxylates 1a - 3a , 4 , 5a , 6a , and 9 , containing various substituents at C(3), and of the rac-3-phenylcyclopropane-1,2-dicarboxylates 7a , 8a , and 10 with pig liver esterase (PLE) is described. A number of new dialkyl 5-(aryl)-1-phenyl-1H-prazole-3,4-dicarboxylate derivatives have been prepared regiospecifically in moderate to good yield from the cyclocondensation reaction of dialkyl (E)-2-(dialkoxyphosphoryl)-3-(aroyl)-2-butenedioate, derived from the reaction between trimethyl phosphite, an acetylenic ester, and an aroyl chloride, with phenylhydrazine. The reaction is four-component and is carried out under reflux conditions in dry toluene.  相似文献

A novel dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction based on solidification of floating organic drop (DLLME-SFO) for separation/preconcentration of ultra trace amount of vanadium and its determination with the electrothermal atomic absorption spectrometry (ETAAS) was developed. The DLLME-SFO behavior of vanadium (V) using N-benzoyl-N-phenylhydroxylamine (BPHA) as complexing agent was systematically investigated. The factors influencing the complex formation and extraction by DLLME-SFO method were optimized. Under the optimized conditions: 100 μL, 200 μL and 25 mL of extraction solvent (1-undecanol), disperser solvent (acetone) and sample volume, respectively, an enrichment factor of 184, a detection limit (based on 3Sb/m) of 7 ng L−1 and a relative standard deviation of 4.6% (at 500 ng L−1) were obtained. The calibration graph using the preconcentration system for vanadium was linear from 20 to 1000 ng L−1 with a correlation coefficient of 0.9996. The method was successfully applied for the determination of vanadium in water and parsley.  相似文献

Cross-linked polystyrene (PS) particles having red blood corpuscle (RBC)-like shape were synthesized by one-pot dispersion polymerization of styrene with ethanol/water mixture and ethylene glycol dimethacrylate (EGDMA) as the reaction medium and cross-linker, respectively. Monitoring of the reaction showed that RBC-like shape forms due to asymmetric shrinkage of a cross-linked network during the phase separation. In addition, three dimensional phase diagram was generated based on the yielded data that showed that the formation of such unique shape extremely depends on the polarity of the medium and injection time of the cross-linker. In situ synthesis of RBC-like particles, as promising biomaterials in targeted drug delivery and a model for the understanding of the cell behavior, via such fast and high solid content approach makes it to be conducive to subsequent scale up, i.e. potential commercial adoption.  相似文献
