Three new transition metal complexes have been synthesized with a Schiff base,3-(2-hydroxy-5-chlorophenylimino)-l,3- diphenylpropen-1-one.In all complexes Schiff base is completely deprotonated and coordinated to metal as tridentate ligand via phenolic and enolic oxygens and imine nitrogen.Thermal decomposition of the complexes has been studied by thermogravimetry. The in vitro antibacterial activity of Schiff bases and their complexes has been evaluated and compared with the standard drugs.  相似文献

In this study, a new and stable Ce(IV) immobilized on halloysite nanotube–functionalized dendrimer was designed, synthesized, and characterized using Fourier-transform infrared, elemental analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, field emission scanning electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy–energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy, dynamic light scattering, Brunauer–Emmett–Teller, and inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectroscopy techniques. This catalyst was efficiently used for the one-pot, single-step multicomponent synthesis of pyrido[3,2-c]coumarins from 4-aminocoumarin, aldehydes, and aryl ketones. The efficiency and selectivity of this catalytic system were also evaluated for the synthesis of pyrido[3,2-c]coumarins from terminal/internal alkynes instead of aryl ketones. In this respect, the regioselectivity of the products was successfully assigned by X-ray crystallographic analysis. All these reactions were best performed under solvent-free conditions in the presence of only 0.28 mol% of the catalyst, and such a one-pot multicomponent synthesis of pyrido[3,2-c]coumarins is reported for the first time. It is also worth noting that single-step and short reaction path for the synthesis of a variety of pyrido[3,2-c]coumarins along with excellent reusability of this dendritic catalyst makes this method economically and environmentally attractive.  相似文献

A modified perturbed hard-sphere-chain equation of state by Eslami [H. Eslami, Fluid Phase Equilibr. 216 (2004) 21-26], is extended to mixtures. The resulting equation of state for mixtures consists of two temperature-dependent parameters as well as an additional parameter, reflecting the segment size for pure components. The temperature-dependent parameters of the equation of state are correlated as universal functions of the reduced temperature. It is shown that knowing just the critical constants of pure components is sufficient to calculate the temperature-dependent parameters. The equation of state for mixtures is checked against the experimental pressure-volume-temperature data for a large number of mixtures, having varieties of molecular sizes and shapes. It is shown that no interaction parameter is needed to describe the behavior of fluid mixtures. Among about 3500 data points for mixtures, the average absolute deviation, compared to the experimental data, is about 0.93%.  相似文献

Abstract

The organotin(IV) complexes, SnPh2La (1), SnMe2La (2), SnBu2La (3), SnPh2Lb (4), SnMe2Lb (5), SnPh2Lc (6), SnMe2Lc (7), and SnBu2Lc (8) were obtained by reaction of SnR 2Cl2 (R = Ph, Me, and Bu) with 1-(5-bromo-2-hydroxybenzylidene)-4-phenylthiosemicarbazide (H2La), 1-((2-hydroxynaphthalen-1-yl)methylene)-4-phenylthiosemicarbazide (H2Lb), and 1-(2-hydroxy-3-methoxybenzylidene)-4-phenylthiosemicarbazide (H2Lc). The synthesized complexes have been investigated by elemental analysis, IR, 1H NMR, and 119Sn NMR spectroscopy. The data show that the thiosemicarbazone acts as a tridentate dianionic ligand and coordinates via the thiol group, imine nitrogen, and phenolic oxygen. The coordination number of tin is 5. The in vitro antibacterial activities of the ligands and their complexes have been evaluated against Gram-positive (Bacillus subtilis and Staphylococcus aureus) and Gram-negative (Escherichia coli) bacteria and compared with the standard antibacterial drugs.

Extraction and determination of three flavonoids (morin, quercetin, and kaempferol) were performed by dispersive magnetic solid phase extraction based on mixed hemi/ad‐micelles and high‐performance liquid chromatography with UV detection. The Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles were synthesized and characterized by X‐ray diffraction, FTIR, scanning electron microscopy, and thermogravimetric analysis. Fe3O4/SiO2 nanoparticles coated with mixed hemi/ad‐micelles cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide was applied as a sorbent and used for extraction of flavonoids. Effective parameters on the extraction recovery such as amount of magnetic nano particles, volume of cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide solution with specific concentration, pH of sample solution, adsorption equilibrium time, volume of desorption solvent, and desorption times were evaluated and optimized using fractional factorial design and central composite design. Under the optimum condition limit of detection and linearity were 0.83, 2.7–500.0 for morin, 0.18, 0.7–500.0 for quercetin and, 0.37, 1.3–500.0 µg/L for kaempferol. The extraction recovery with relative standard deviation were 97.88, 1.94 for morin, 95.77, 0.80 for quercetin, and 93.35, 1.45 for kaempferol. The proposed method was applied for simultaneous extraction and determination of flavonoids in several fruit juices and vegetable samples.  相似文献
