A pair of vertices (x,y) of a graph G is an o-critical pair if o(G + xy) > o(G), where G + xy denotes the graph obtained by adding the edge xy to G and o(H) is the clique number of H. The o-critical pairs are never edges in G. A maximal stable set S of G is called a forced color class of G if S meets every o-clique of G, and o-critical pairs within S form a connected graph. In 1993, G. Bacsó raised the following conjecture which implies the famous Strong Perfect Graph Conjecture: If G is a uniquely o-colorable perfect graph, then G has at least one forced color class. A nanoscale data summation architecture is proposed and experimentally demonstrated based on the optical near-field interaction between quantum dots. Based on local electromagnetic interactions between a few nanometric elements via optical near fields, we can combine multiple excitations at a certain quantum dot, which allows construction of a summation architecture. Mass production of some kinds of carbon nanotubes (CNT) is now imminent, but little is known about the risk associated with
their exposure. It is important to assess the propensity of the CNT to release particles into air for its risk assessment.
In this study, we conducted aerosolization of a multi-walled CNT (MWCNT) to assess several aerosol measuring instruments.
A Palas RBG-1000 aerosol generator applied mechanical stress to the MWCNT by a rotating brush at feed rates ranging from 2
to 20 mm/h, which the MWCNT was fed to a two-component fluidized bed. The fluidized bed aerosol generator was used to disperse
the MWCNT aerosol once more. We monitored the generated MWCNT aerosol concentrations based on number, area, and mass using
a condensation particle counter and nanoparticle surface area monitor. Also we quantified carbon mass in MWCNT aerosol samples
by a carbon monitor. The shape of aerosolized MWCNT fibers was observed by a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The MWCNT
was well dispersed by our system. We found isolated MWCNT fibers in the aerosols by SEM and the count median lengths of MWCNT
fibers were 4–6 μm. The MWCNT was quantified by the carbon monitor with a modified condition based on the NIOSH analytical
manual. The MWCNT aerosol concentration (EC mass base) was 4 mg/m3 at 2 mm/h in this study. 相似文献

Summary The masking effect of potassium iodide with or without hydroxylamine on the interferences in the atomic-absorption spectrophotometric determination of antimony via its hydride by sodium borohydride tablet reduction has been studied. It has been well known in the conventional colorimetric method [21] that both potassium iodide and stannous chloride completely suppress the evolution of stibine. However, in this sodium borohydride tablet reduction, potassium iodide plays a role in masking the interferences of not only stannous chloride but also other numerous ions. By the procedure established here, the calibration curve was linear up to a concentration of 0.04g/ml of antimony with the coefficient of variation of 2.4 %. The method was successfully applied to the determination of antimony in a river sediment.

Zusammenfassung Es ist bekannt, daß bei der colorimetrischen Bestimmungsmethode [21] sowohl KI als auch SnCl2 die Entwicklung von Stibin vollständig verhindern. Bei der hier beschriebenen Reduktion mit Hilfe einer NaBH4-Tablette maskiert jedoch KI (mit oder ohne Hydroxylaminzusatz) Störungen durch SnCl2 sowie durch zahlreiche andere Ionen. Die Eichkurve verläuft bis zu 0,04 g Sb/ml linear. Der Variationskoeffizient beträgt 2,4 %. Als Anwendungsbeispiel wird die Antimonbestimmung in Flußsedimenten erwähnt.相似文献
