[structure: see text] A bowl-shaped neutral radical with a corannulene system has been designed and synthesized for the first time as a stable solid in air. An unequivocal characterization of the electronic properties of the radical shows that an appreciable amount of spin delocalization extends onto the corannulene unit's curved surface.  相似文献

We introduce the notion of strong supercommutativity of self-adjoint operators on a -graded Hilbert space and give some basic properties. We clarify that strong supercommutativity is a unification of strong commutativity and strong anticommutativity. We also establish the theory of super quantization. It is important to clarify the contributions of clouds and aerosols to the variation of surface shortwave irradiance (S) for climatological studies. This study examined the contributions of clouds and aerosols to the variation in S over East Asia (75-135°E, 20-55°N) in July during 2001 and 2007 using the index of potential radiative forcing (PRF) to characterize the temporal and geographical variations. After confirming the validity of PRF for multiyear analyses, we performed several temporal analyses of clouds and aerosols over the whole research domain. Changes in the geographical distribution, contribution histograms, and averaged values were studied. In agreement with previous studies that treated single-year cases, we confirmed that the magnitudes of the temporal changes in S variations due to clouds and aerosols were highly variable geographically. As for domain-averaged S variations, we did not observe defined trends for the research period. It was also found that the temporal variation between one parameter and its S variation was negatively correlated, from the point analyses at two locations. Based on these results, we concluded that PRF is a promising tool for research into long-term S variations. This kind of information will be quite valuable as basic data for use in climate modeling.  相似文献

The heat capacity of the cubic mesogen ACBC(16) was measured between 16 and 500 K by adiabatic calorimetry. As well as the known condensed phases, a new crystalline phase was found to undergo a glass transition at around 165 K. Phase transitions between crystal, SmC, cubic, and isotropic liquid phases took place at 399.16, 431.15, and 474.30 K, respectively. As in the case of ANBC, a broad hump was observed in the heat capacity of the isotropic liquid phase. The first order nature of the SmC-cubic phase transition was confirmed for the first time by the observation of supercooling of the cubic phase. The broad hump in the isotropic liquid phase was shown to extend to a low temperature side if the isotropic liquid was supercooled, suggesting that the event occurring at the hump is not directly related to the cubic-isotropic liquid phase transition.  相似文献

The heat capacity of the metallomesogen purple cobalt stearate Co(O2CC17H35)2 has been measured by adiabatic calorimetry at temperatures between 16 and 420 K. This compound exhibits two crystalline phases (low temperature Cr2 and high temperature Cr1 phases), mesophase (M phase), and isotropic liquid (I phase). A third crystalline phase Cr3, which is entirely metastable with respect to all the others, is suggested by DSC studies. The Cr2-to-Cr1, Cr1-to-M, and M-to-I phase transitions occurred at 362.1, 380.9, and 400.4 K, respectively. The enthalpy and entropy gains at these phase transitions were determined. The mesophase is either smectic A or nematic.  相似文献

Kinetic resolution of sterically hindered racemic α-tert-alkyl-α-hydroxy esters is performed by enantiomer-selective carbamoylation with the t-Bu-Box-Cu(II) catalyst (Box = bis(oxazoline)). The reaction with 0.5 equiv of n-C(3)H(7)NCO is carried out with a substrate-to-catalyst molar ratio of 500-5000 at -20 to 25 °C. The high enantiomer-discrimination ability of the catalyst achieves an excellent stereoselectivity factor (s = k(fast)/k(slow)) of 261 in the best case. A catalytic cycle for this reaction is proposed.  相似文献

The encoding process of finding the best-matched codeword (winner) for a certain input vector in image vector quantization (VQ) is computationally very expensive due to a lot of k-dimensional Euclidean distance computations. In order to speed up the VQ encoding process, it is beneficial to firstly estimate how large the Euclidean distance is between the input vector and a candidate codeword by using appropriate low dimensional features of a vector instead of an immediate Euclidean distance computation. If the estimated Euclidean distance is large enough, it implies that the current candidate codeword could not be a winner so that it can be rejected safely and thus avoid actual Euclidean distance computation. Sum (1-D), L2 norm (1-D) and partial sums (2-D) of a vector are used together as the appropriate features in this paper because they are the first three simplest features. Then, four estimations of Euclidean distance between the input vector and a codeword are connected to each other by the Cauchy–Schwarz inequality to realize codeword rejection. For typical standard images with very different details (Lena, F-16, Pepper and Baboon), the final remaining must-do actual Euclidean distance computations can be eliminated obviously and the total computational cost including all overhead can also be reduced obviously compared to the state-of-the-art EEENNS method meanwhile keeping a full search (FS) equivalent PSNR.  相似文献

Photolysis of CClF2CH2Cl was studied by 147 nm vacuum ultraviolet irradiation. In the presence of NO; CF2CH2, CF2CHCl, and CClF2CN were produced. These products represent three different reaction paths; the molecular dechlorination, molecular dehydrochlorination, and chlorine radical elimination reactions.
