A series of ruthenium complexes [Ru(OAc)(dioxolene)(terpy)] having various substituents on the dioxolene ligand (dioxolene = 3,5-t-Bu2C6H2O2 (1), 4-t-BuC6H3O2 (2), 4-ClC6H3O2 (3), 3,5-Cl2C6H2O2 (4), Cl4C6O2 (5); terpy = 2,2':6'2' '-terpyridine) were prepared. EPR spectra of these complexes in glassy frozen solutions (CH2Cl2:MeOH = 95:5, v/v) at 20 K showed anisotropic signals with g tensor components 2.242 > g1 > 2.104, 2.097 > g2 > 2.042, and 1.951 > g3 > 1.846. An anisotropic value, Deltag = g1 - g3, and an isotropic g value, g = [(g1(2) + g2(2) + g3(2))/3]1/2, increase in the order 1 < 2 < 3 < 4 < 5. The resonance between the Ru(II)(sq) (sq = semiquinone) and Ru(III)(cat) (cat = catecholato) frameworks shifts to the latter with an increase of the number of electron-withdrawing substituents on the dioxolene ligand. DFT calculations of 1, 2, 3, and 5 also support the increase of the Ru spin density (Ru(III) character) with an increase of the number of Cl atoms on the dioxolene ligand. The singly occupied molecular orbitals (SOMOs) of 1 and 5 are very similar to each other and stretch out the Ru-dioxolene frameworks, whereas the lowest unoccupied molecular orbital (LUMO) of 5 is localized on Ru and two oxygen atoms of dioxolene in comparison with that of 1. Electron-withdrawing groups decrease the energy levels of both the SOMO and LUMO. In other words, an increase in the number of Cl atoms in the dioxolene ligand results in an increase of the positive charge on Ru. Successive shifts in the electronic structure between the Ru(II)(sq) and Ru(III)(cat) frameworks caused by the variation of the substituents are compatible with the experimental data.  相似文献

A series of panchromatic ruthenium sensitizers ( MJ sensitizers) with attached thiophene and phenyl units bearing alkyl chains was synthesized. A new synthetic route was used to examine all possible positions for the alkyl chains. The absorption spectra showed the sum of a ruthenium complex and peripheral organic chromophore units. The hypochromic effect and blueshift of the metal‐to‐ligand charge‐transfer band observed in the modified ruthenium sensitizers were suppressed by changing the positions of the alkyl chains on the attached thiophene ring. Changing only one alkyl chain also influenced the performance of dye‐sensitized solar cells. Ruthenium sensitizer MJ‐10 with bulky substituent harvests visible and near‐infrared light, and solar cells sensitized by MJ‐10 exhibit an efficiency of 9.1 % under 1 sun irradiation.  相似文献

Tetra(4-pyridyl)-cavitand 1 and tetrakis(4-hydroxyphenyl)-cavitand 2 self-assemble into a heterodimeric capsule 1·2 via four PhOH?pyridyl hydrogen bonds in CDCl3, wherein one molecule of 1,4-disubstituted-benzene as a guest is encapsulated to form a ternary complex, guest@(1·2). The X-ray crystallographic analysis of (methyl p-ethoxybenzoate)@(1·2) confirmed that the methyl ester and ethoxy groups of the encapsulated guest are oriented to the cavity ends of the 1 and 2 units, respectively. The scope and limitation of guest encapsulation in 1·2, including guest-binding selectivity and orientational isomeric selectivity, are described from the viewpoint of size complementarity and CH-π, CH-halogen, and halogen-π interactions between guest and the cavity of 1·2.  相似文献

Textile dyes appear as an important class of compounds that has become a matter of public concern and a serious challenge for scientists and environmentalists due to their large‐scale production and extensive application. In this work, a non‐conventional competitive‐type amperometric immunosensor was successfully developed for detection of the textile dye Disperse Orange 1 (DO1). The DO1 was magnetically captured and separated from the sample solution using magnetic particles (MP) functionalized with the antibody anti‐DO1 and with HRP and gold electrodes were modified with the conjugate DO1‐BSA. Molecules of DO1 immobilized on the electrode surface and DO1 captured by MP compete for antibody binding sites. As a result, the amperometric signal decreases with increasing target DO1 concentration at the capture step, because this decreases, the attachment between the HRP coated MP and the electrode. This strategy allowed us to determine DO1 at the low detection limit of 0.87 ng mL?1 with great specificity. Also, there were good recoveries for detection of the textile dye in river water samples without the need of sample pre‐treatment. The competitive amperometric immunosensor shows applicability for the determination of small molecules that cannot be determined by conventional competitive or sandwich immunosensors.  相似文献

Interfacial tension () between aqueous dodecyltrimethylammonium chloride (DTAC) solution and benzene was measured as a function of pressure (p) and concentration. The/p was observed to change discontinuously at the critical micelle concentration; this indicates that the micelle formation of DTAC in the aqueous solution coexisting with benzene can be treated like the appearance of a macroscopic phase. It was shown by drawing the vs.A curves that hydrocarbon, such as benzene, cyclohexane, and hexane, make the adsorbed film of DTAC expand. The volume behavior of the micelle with benzene molecules solubilized was found to bear a strong resemblance to that of the adsorbed film at the water/benzene interface. The difference in the molar volume value of adsorbed DTAC among the coexistent hydrocarbon phases was attributed to the difference in the contribution of the hydrocarbon molecules to the interfacial excess volume; the number of the solubilized hydrocarbon molecules was evaluated to be one or two a micelle.  相似文献

In situ Raman spectroscopic measurements of water in the region of OH vibration were conducted up to 0.4 GPa at 23 and 52 degrees C. The frequencies of the decomposed OH stretching bands initially decreased with increasing pressure, reached a minimum at 0.15 GPa and increased up to 0.3 GPa and then decreased, which corresponds to the variations of the strength of hydrogen bonding. This variation was observed at 23 degrees C, but not at 52 degrees C, which suggests a change in pressure dependence on the hydrogen bond interaction between these two temperatures. Based on the equilibration model between hydrogen-bonded and nonhydrogen-bonded molecules, the present experimental results indicate that the pressure variation of the viscosity depends on the ratio of hydrogen-bonded molecules, rather than the strength of hydrogen bonding between molecules.  相似文献

The coupled equations which describe the temporal evolution of the Bose–Einstein condensed system are derived in the framework of nonequilibrium Thermo Field Dynamics. The key element is that they are not the naive assemblages of assumed equations, but are the self-consistent ones derived by appropriate renormalization conditions. While the order parameter is time-dependent, an explicit quasiparticle picture is constructed by a time-dependent expansion. Our formulation is valid even for the system with a unstable condensate, and describes the condensate decay caused by the Landau instability as well as by the dynamical one.  相似文献
