Effect of low-temperature annealing on spectrum FMR in a granulated nanostructure

The effect of low-temperature annealing on the homogeneous FMR spectrum of a granulated (CoFeB) + (SiO₂) nanostructure is investigated experimentally. The observed concentration dependence of monoaxial anisotropy fields and shift in the resonance fields before and after annealing are explained within the model of an effective environment.     

Stressed state of a piezoceramic body containing a spheroidal inclusion

An exact solution is constructed to the electroelastic problem for a medium with a sealed-in spheroidal inclusion under the assumption that the medium and the inclusion are different piezoceramic, transversally isotropic bodies with coincident axes of anisotropy. The components of the associated electroelastic field of the inclusion are plotted as functions of the external load and of the geometry of the inclusion. Numerical values of the stresses and of the projection of the electric induction vector are given for the medium in the neighborhood of the inclusion. Electroless Deposition of Nickel Coatings with High Phosphorus Content

Acid hypophosphite solution for electroless deposition of a Ni-P alloy containing up to 12 wt % phosphorus was developed and recommended for practical use. Structuring caused by diazonium-salt photolysis products in poly(oxiethyl methacrylate)

Thermomechanical and holographic methods have been applied to the changes caused in the matrix in poly(oxiethyl methacrylate) POEMA due to photlysis of a diazonium salt dissolved in it, with reference to 2,5-diethoxy-4-N-morpholinophenyldiazonium borofluoride. The measurements on the thermomechanical parameters and on the elastic modulus as a function of temperature indicate that the photolysis does not lead to covalent bonds between the macromolecules. The photolysis mechanism and these data suggest that the D8 groups in the POEMA are esterified by the photolysis products, which leads to a hydrophilic polymer matrix composed of oleophyl parts in the illuminated areas. There are differences in optical parameters between the illuminated and unexposed parts of the POEMA, which can be detected in a hydrophyl solvent, as has been confirmed by holography.Leningrad. Thermochemical study of the trans- and cis-isomeric forms of 4-(4-methoxystyryl)pyridine N-oxide

The trans and cis form of 4-(4-methoxystyryl)pyridine N-oxide were studied. The spectral characteristics of cis-4-(4-methoxystyryl)pyridine N-oxide were determined in acetonitrile. The melting and thermal decomposition processes of the trans and cisforms of 4-(4-methoxystyryl)pyridine N-oxide were studied by thermochemical methods. It was establish that the thermal decomposition of 4-(4-methoxystyryl)pyridine N-oxide begins with the cleavage of the bond between the pyridine and benzene rings.

     

On the construction of quadrature rules for Laplace transform inversion

For Laplace transform inversion, a method for constructing quadrature rules of the highest degree of accuracy based on an asymptotic distribution of roots of special orthogonal polynomials on the complex plane is proposed.     

Motion of the interface of two fluids with formation of a region of two-phase flow

A study is made of the problem of the displacement of one fluid by another with the formation of a region of combined flow in the case of an elastic flow regime in the region of the displaced fluid. A self-similar solution is constructed for the flow equations averaged with respect to the vertical coordinate.
