Thermal decarbonylation of the acyl compounds [Mn(CO)5(CORF)] (RF=CF3, CHF2, CH2CF3, CF2CH3) yielded the corresponding alkyl derivatives [Mn(CO)5(RF)], some of which have not been previously reported. The compounds were fully characterized by analytical and spectroscopic methods and by several single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The solution-phase IR characterization in the CO stretching region, with the assistance of DFT calculations, has allowed the assignment of several weak bands to vibrations of the [Mn(12CO)4(eq-13CO)(RF)] and [Mn(12CO)4(ax-13CO)(RF)] isotopomers and a ranking of the RF donor power in the order CF3<CHF2<CH2CF3≈CF2CH3. The homolytic Mn−RF bond cleavage in [Mn(CO)5(RF)] at various temperatures under saturation conditions with trapping of the generated RF radicals by excess tris(trimethylsilyl)silane yielded activation parameters ΔH≠ and ΔS≠ that are believed to represent close estimates of the homolytic bond dissociation thermodynamic parameters. These values are in close agreement with those calculated in a recent DFT study (J. Organomet. Chem. 2018 , 864, 12–18). The ability of these complexes to undergo homolytic Mn−RF bond cleavage was further demonstrated by the observation that [Mn(CO)5(CF3)] (the compound with the strongest Mn−RF bond) initiated the radical polymerization of vinylidene fluoride (CH2=CF2) to produce poly(vinylidene fluoride) in good yields by either thermal (100 °C) or photochemical (UV or visible light) activation. 相似文献

Using concentration measurements based on high performance liquid chromatography, we have investigated the kinetics of reaction between single-stranded oligonucleotides containing a d(GpG) sequence, i.e., d(GG), d(TGG), d(TTGG), and d(CTGGCTCA), and the platinum complexes cis-[Pt(NH(3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](2+) (1) and [Pt(NH(3))(3)(H(2)O)](2+) (2). The rate constants for the substitution of one aqua ligand of platinum in 1 or 2 by each guanine of the oligonucleotides were individually measured, as well as, for 1, those for the subsequent conversion of the monoadducts to the diadduct. For the platination of d(GG) and d(TGG), the rate constants are similar for the 5'- and 3'-guanines. The longer oligonucleotides d(TTGG) and d(CTGGCTCA) are platinated slightly faster on the 5'-G than on the 3'-G. 2 shows a similar slight preference for the 5'-guanine, but it reacts by a factor of 4-10 more slowly than 1. For both complexes, the platination rate constants increase with increasing oligonucleotide length. Platination of the 5'-G by 1 is 1 order of magnitude faster on d(CTGGCTCA) than on d(GG). Concerning the chelation step giving the GG diadduct of 1, the longer the oligonucleotide, the larger is the ratio between the rates of the cyclization of the 3'- and 5'-monoadducts k(3)(')(c) and k(5)(')(c): k(3)(')(c)/k(5)(')(c) equals 1.4 for d(GG) and 3.3 for d(CTGGCTCA). 相似文献

The results of 16 docking simulations with rigid receptor sites and flexible ligands (∼60,000 compounds in each case) are statistically analyzed and compared. Different combinations of binding sites, scoring functions, and compound collections are used in these calculations. The docking scores are not randomly distributed over the scoring range; they follow Gaussian distributions (regardless of the binding sites), scoring functions, or screened compounds. If the docking sites are small, the Gaussian distributions are positively skewed. Peaks of the Gaussian distributions are populated with compounds having similar scores but different sizes and binding modes. Elastomers are materials showing exceptional elasticity and are used for numerous applications. However, their low stiffness as well as their insulating behavior can be limiting so the incorporation of graphene-based materials can help and improve drastically their properties. With high Young's modulus, high electrical and thermal conductivities, graphene and graphene-like fillers seem ideal fillers to effectively tune elastomers properties. With low graphene-like loadings, most elasticity properties of elastomers could be preserved while increasing or adding new properties to the composites to enable new applications. In this paper, we study the central limit theorem and its weak invariance principle for sums of a stationary sequence of random
variables, via a martingale decomposition. Our conditions involve the conditional expectation of sums of random variables
with respect to the distant past. The results contribute to the clarification of the central limit question for stationary
