The exact string matching problem is to find the occurrences of a pattern of length m from a text of length n symbols. We develop a novel and unorthodox filtering technique for this problem. Our method is based on transforming the problem into multiple matching of carefully chosen pattern subsequences. While this is seemingly more difficult than the original problem, we show that the idea leads to very simple algorithms that are optimal on average. We then show how our basic method can be used to solve multiple string matching as well as several approximate matching problems in average optimal time. The general method can be applied to many existing string matching algorithms. Our experimental results show that the algorithms perform very well in practice. 相似文献

Enantiomerically pure, chiral secondary and tertiary aziridine alcohols (including the aziridine analogue of ProPhenol—AziPhenol) have proven to be highly effective catalysts for enantioselective asymmetric reactions in the presence of zinc ions, including arylation of aromatic aldehydes, epoxidation of chalcone and addition of diethylzinc to aldehydes, leading to the desired chiral products in high chemical yields (up to 90%) and with ee’s up to 90%. We study the complete lattice of convergences, that is, of relations between a set and the set of its filters. Various properties of convergences (like isotonicity, antitonicity, being a pseudotopology, a pretopology, an adherence) determine subsets of the lattice of convergences which possess certain particular features called “cyrtological”. The morphisms associated to these sets, said “cyrtomorphisms”, are basic in the study of convergences. A method of generation of GALOIS connections relative to cyrtomorphisms is proposed.
