Large enhancements have been observed in the sub-barrier fusion cross sections for Ti+Ni systems in our previous studies.
Coupled channel calculations incorporating couplings to 2+ and 3− states failed to explain these enhancements completely. A possibilty of transfer channels contributing to the residual enhancements
had been suggested. In order to investigate the role of relevant transfer channels, measurements of one- and two-nucleon transfer

This paper reports on the first study of the temperature and field dependences of the magnetization, heat capacity, and electrical properties of synthesized polycrystalline samples of aerugite Co10Ge3O16, as well as on x-ray diffraction analysis of this compound. It is shown that the cobalt ions in this compound occupy three nonequivalent positions. The results of the experimental and theoretical studies suggest that aerugite is a ferrimagnet with two uncompensated magnetic moments of the cobalt atom per formula unit. 相似文献

The magnetic and crystal structures of the LaCo0.5Fe0.5O3 perovskite are investigated. It is established that the unit cell of this compound at room temperature is characterized by rhombohedral distortions. As the temperature decreases, the compound undergoes a structural phase transition from the rhombohedral phase to the orthorhombic phase in the temperature range 200–300 K. The LaCo0.5Fe0.5O3 perovskite has an antiferromagnetic structure with the G z spatial orientation of the antiferromagnetic vector. The magnetic properties of the LaCo0.5Fe0.5O3 perovskite are interpreted within a model according to which the ground state of Co3+ ions is a low-spin state and the existence of the weak ferromagnetic component is associated with the exchange interactions between the Fe3+ ions. 相似文献

Melanoma is a serious form of skin cancer that begins in cells known as melanocytes. While it is less common than the other forms of skin cancer, melanoma is more dangerous because of its ability to spread to other organs more rapidly if it is not treated at an early stage. The number of people diagnosed with melanoma has increased over the last few decades. The most widely used treatments include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. The search for new drugs to treat various cancers is one of the most important challenges of modern scientific research. Some isoquinoline alkaloids found in different plant species have strong cytotoxic effects on various cancer cells. We tested the effect of isoquinoline alkaloids and extracts obtained from various parts of Mahonia aquifolium collected in various vegetation seasons on human melanoma cancer cells and our data indicated that investigated extract induced significant reduction in cell viability of Human malignant melanoma cells (A375), human Caucasian malignant melanoma cell line (G361), and human malignant melanoma cell line (SKMEL3 cancer cell lines in a dose- and time-dependent manner. Differences in cytotoxic activity were observed for extracts obtained from various parts of Mahonia aquifolium. Significant differences were also obtained in the alkaloids content and cytotoxic activity of the extracts depending on the season of collection of plant material. Our investigations exhibit that these plant extracts can be recommended for further in vivo experiments in order to confirm the possibility of their use in the treatment of human melanomas. 相似文献

Multireference ab initio dynamics simulations have become available as a tool for the investigation of photochemical processes, mainly for those related to nonadiabatic phenomena taking place in the sub-picosecond time scale. For organic molecules, these phenomena are in many cases deeply dependent on the relaxation of the photoexcited pi-system. We review the latest contributions of our group to this subject and report new results for systems studied previously, grouping them in single pi bonds, chains and aromatic rings. The dynamics of ethylene and substituted ethylenes is discussed mainly in connection to the competition between the two available relaxation paths in the excited states and their relation to the conical intersections in large systems. The trans-cis and the cis-trans dynamics of the pentadieniminium cation is investigated as well. Finally, we discuss the photodynamics of aminopyrimidine starting in the S1 and S2 states and the conclusions, which can be drawn from this for the interpretation of the adenine dynamics. 相似文献

We have reinforced local superconductivity in ferromagnetic Fe(67)Cr(18)B(15) metallic glasses by ion irradiation. Superconductivity in this medium appears due to the presence of large-scale layered clusters of metallic Fe-Cr phase, 150-230 ? in size, with a ferromagnetic (or superparamagnetic) Fe-rich core and nonmagnetic Cr-rich superconducting shell. Here we show that due to the intensification of concentration phase separation in the Fe-Cr clusters under ion (Ar(+)) irradiation, the volume of the superconducting phase increases from the initial 0.4-0.5% up to 7-8%. After irradiation, the resistivity jump Δρ/ρ in the temperature range T=3.1-3.6 K increases ~14 times, reaching 19%, as compared to 1.36% for the initial sample. In the interval of T=3.1-3.6 K, the rate of resistance change reaches 79% K(-1) for the irradiated sample instead of 3.6% K(-1) for the initial sample. In the same temperature interval, the rate of magnetoresistance change increases from 3% K(-1) for the initial sample up to 70% K(-1) after irradiation. 相似文献

Uranium trichalcogenides US3 and UTe3 were examined by EPR. The measurements were performed at the X-band over temperature range 4.2–300K and with the magnetic field applied perpendicular and parallel to the (001) plane. The EPR spectra consist of two lines with g-factors about 2 and 4 respectively. Results are discussed in terms of interactions of the U4+ ion with impurities. Deactivation of UV-excited cytosine is investigated by non-adiabatic dynamics simulations, optimization of conical intersections, and determination of reaction paths. Quantum chemical calculations are performed up to the MR-CISD level. Dynamics simulations were performed at multiconfigurational level with the surface hopping method including four electronic states. The results show the activation of four distinct reaction pathways at two different subpicosecond time scales and involving three different conical intersections. Most trajectories relax to a minimum of the S(1) state and deactivate with a time constant of 0.69 ps mainly through a semi-planar conical intersection along the n(O)π* surface. A minor fraction deactivate along ππ* regions of the S(1) surface. Sixteen percent of trajectories do not relax to the minimum and deactivate with a time constant of only 13 fs. 相似文献

The domain structure of YFeO3 orthoferrite in the temperature range from 10 K up to the Néel temperature TN with particular regard to the region in the neighbourhood of TN was studied. The domain width of the stripe structure as well as the collapse field of the bubble domains were determined. It was shown that in the neighbourhood of the Néel temperature the domain structure undergoes important changes. The obtained results were compared with theoretical considerations of the domain structure properties near the transition temperature. Particularly, it was shown that the domain structure in this region has a linear character.In all the investigated crystals the effect of spontaneous demagnetization near TN was observed. This effect was explained by the influence of fluctuations on the nucleation of domains. Similar effects were observed in other orthoferrites. 相似文献
