AbstractTunicamycin E (1), featuring a methyl substitution at C-10′, was isolated from marine-derived Streptomyces xinghaiensis SCSIO S15077 originated from the South China Sea sediment together with six known compounds, tunicamycin B (2), tunicamycin X (3), tunicamycin A (4), streptovirudin D2 (5), tunicamycin C (6), and tunicamycin C3 (7). The structure of compound 1 was elucidated by detailed spectroscopic data analyses. All the compounds exhibited strong to moderate antibacterial activity against Gram-positive bacteria Bacillus thuringiensis BT01 and B. thuringiensis W102 with MIC values ranging from 0.008 to 2 μg/mL. Moreover, compounds 1–7 exhibited moderate antifungal activity against Candida albicans ATCC 96901 and C. albicans CMCC (F) 98001 with MIC values ranging from 2 to 32 μg/mL. This is the first report that tunicamycins exhibit antimicrobial activities against B. thuringiensis, C. albicans CMCC (F) 98001 and a fluconazole resistant strain C. albicans ATCC 96901. 相似文献
A simple, fast, and sensitive analytical protocol using fabric‐phase sorptive extraction followed by high performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet detection has been developed and validated for the extraction of five parabens including methylparaben, ethylparaben, propylparaben, butylparaben, and benzylparaben. In the present work, sol‐gel polyethylene glycol coated fabric‐phase sorptive extraction membrane is used for the preconcentration of parabens (polar) from complex matrices. The use of fabric‐phase sorptive extraction membrane provides a high surface area which offers high sorbent loading, shortened equilibrium time, and overall decrease in the sample preparation time. Various factors affecting the performance of fabric‐phase sorptive extraction, including extraction time, eluting solvent, elution time, and pH of the sample matrix, were optimized. Separation was performed using a mobile phase consisting of water:acetonitrile (63:37; v/v) at an isocratic elution mode at a flow rate of 0.9 mL/min with wavelength at 254 nm. The calibration curves of the target analytes were prepared with good correlation coefficient values (r2 > 0.9955). The limit of detection values range from 0.252 to 0.580 ng/mL. Finally, the method was successfully applied to various cosmetics and personal care product samples such as rose water, deodorant, hair serum, and cream with extraction recoveries ranged between 88 and 122% with relative standard deviation <5%. 相似文献
The dianion derived from (2Z,6Z)‐3,7‐diphenyl‐N2,N6‐di(pyridin‐2‐yl)pyrrolo[2,3‐f]indole‐2,6(1H,5H)‐diimine (H2BL), a modified BODIPY ligand precursor, is shown to be capable of bridging two metal complex fragments RuL2, L=2,4‐pentanedionato (acac?), 2,2’‐bipyridine (bpy) or 2‐phenylazopyridine (pap) in [Ru(acac)2Ru(μ‐BL)Ru(acac)2] ( 1 / 2 ), [Ru(bpy)2Ru(μ‐BL)Ru(bpy)2](ClO4)2 ([ 3 ](ClO4)2) and [Ru(pap)2Ru(μ‐BL)Ru(pap)2](ClO4)2 ([ 4 ](ClO4)2). The compounds, including a diastereoisomeric pair 1 (meso) and 2 (rac) were spectroscopically and structurally characterized. Reversible electron transfers as revealed by cyclic and differential pulse voltammetry allowed for an EPR and UV‐vis‐NIR spectroelectrochemical investigation of several neighboring charge states. Together with susceptibility measurements and TD‐DFT calculations the assignment of oxidation states reveals that 1 , 2 are diruthenium(III) species which can be oxidized or reduced by one electron whereas 3 2+ and 4 2+ contain ruthenium(II) and get reduced or oxidized mainly at the dianionic bridge ( 3 2+) or are reduced at the ancillary ligands pap ( 4 2+). 相似文献

The fourth-order nonlinear Boussinesq water wave equation, which explains the propagation of long waves in shallow water, is explored in this article. We used the Lie symmetry approach to analyze the Lie symmetries and vector fields. Then, by using similarity variables, we obtained the symmetry reductions and soliton wave solutions. In addition, the Kudryashov method and its modification are used to explore the bright and singular solitons while the Hirota bilinear method is effectively used to obtain a form of breather and lump wave solutions. The physical explanation of the extracted solutions was shown with the free choice of different parameters by depicting some 2-D, 3-D, and their corresponding contour plots.
Multiplicative calculus(MUC) measures the rate of change of function in terms of ratios, which makes the exponential functions significantly linear in the framework of MUC.Therefore, a generally non-linear optimization problem containing exponential functions becomes a linear problem in MUC. Taking this as motivation, this paper lays mathematical foundation of well-known classical Gauss-Newton minimization(CGNM) algorithm in the framework of MUC. This paper formulates the mathematical derivation of proposed method named as multiplicative Gauss-Newton minimization(MGNM) method along with its convergence properties. The proposed method is generalized for n number of variables, and all its theoretical concepts are authenticated by simulation results. Two case studies have been conducted incorporating multiplicatively-linear and non-linear exponential functions. From simulation results, it has been observed that proposed MGNM method converges for 12972 points, out of 19600 points considered while optimizing multiplicatively-linear exponential function, whereas CGNM and multiplicative Newton minimization methods converge for only 2111 and 9922 points, respectively. Furthermore, for a given set of initial value, the proposed MGNM converges only after 2 iterations as compared to 5 iterations taken by other methods. A similar pattern is observed for multiplicatively-non-linear exponential function. Therefore, it can be said that proposed method converges faster and for large range of initial values as compared to conventional methods. 相似文献
The genus Bidens a member of family Compositae, is widely documented as an ethno-medicinally important genus of plants. In the present study, anticancer potential of three ethno-medicinally important species i.e., B. bipinnata, B. biternata and B. pilosa were tested. For in-vitro evaluation, an MTT (Thiazolyl blue tetrazolium bromide) assay was performed against cervical cancer cells (HeLa), hepatocellular carcinoma (HepG), and adenocarcinoma human alveolar basal epithelial cells (A549). For in vivo evaluation, Artemia salina, Danio rerio, and Caenorhabditis elegans were used. Among all the tested extracts, the ethanol extract of B. biternata appeared to have highest anticancer activity, and the compounds responsible for this activity were identified to be Tris (2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl), 4-hydroxy-2,4′-dimethoxychalcone, and 2,4-di-tert-butylphenol. This is the first report of the isolation of Tris (2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl) phosphate from the genus Bidens and the first report of 4-hydroxy-2,4′-dimethoxychalcone and 2,4-di-tert-butylphenol from B. biternata. Among the isolated compounds, 4-hydroxy-2,4′-dimethoxychalcone showed the highest anticancer activity with an LD50 value of 236.7 µg/mL. Therefore, this compound carries promising potential for being established as a pharmaceutical for chemoprevention and chemotherapy. 相似文献
Plumbagin, a hydroxy-1,4-naphthoquinone, confers neuroprotection via antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The present study aimed to assess the effect of plumbagin on behavioral and memory deficits induced by intrahippocampal administration of Quinolinic acid (QA) in male Wistar rats and reveal the associated mechanisms. QA (300 nM/4 μL in Normal saline) was administered i.c.v. in the hippocampus. QA administration caused depression-like behavior (forced swim test and tail suspension tests), anxiety-like behavior (open field test and elevated plus maze), and elevated anhedonia behavior (sucrose preference test). Furthermore, oxidative–nitrosative stress (increased nitrite content and lipid peroxidation with reduction of GSH), inflammation (increased IL-1β), cholinergic dysfunction, and mitochondrial complex (I, II, and IV) dysfunction were observed in the hippocampus region of QA-treated rats as compared to normal controls. Plumbagin (10 and 20 mg/kg; p.o.) treatment for 21 days significantly ameliorated behavioral and memory deficits in QA-administered rats. Moreover, plumbagin treatment restored the GSH level and reduced the MDA and nitrite level in the hippocampus. Furthermore, QA-induced cholinergic dysfunction and mitochondrial impairment were found to be ameliorated by plumbagin treatment. In conclusion, our results suggested that plumbagin offers a neuroprotective potential that could serve as a promising pharmacological approach to mitigate neurobehavioral changes associated with neurodegeneration. 相似文献
