Non faradaic yields of anodic contact glow discharge electrolysis (CGDE) originate through H· and OH· radical generated during the process. Scavenging effects of Fe(CN) 6 4? on OH· radicals, in alkaline media have been investigated. A kinetic analysis of the competing reactions of O? with different species in the system leads to an yield of 9.8?mol?mol?electron?1 of OH· and H· radicals each in the liquid phase reaction zone of anodic CGDE in good agreement with the yield reported from a study involving H· radical scavengers. 相似文献

We have measured 7Be activity in moss samples collected from in and around Mumbai, India. The use of heavily shielded Compton suppressor system is more efficient than the conventional gamma spectroscopic system for detection of 7Be. The 7Be accumulation capacities of mosses are more than other plant samples. Therefore monitoring of young moss samples by Compton suppressor system is an excellent tool for determination of atmospheric fallout of 7Be. A positive bias in the high altitude samples has been observed which might be due to any of the two reasons (i) higher cosmic ray flux in the high altitude or (ii) high pollution in the lower altitude area ultimately inhibits uptake of 7Be. 相似文献

the purity of the tracers for various applications. No-carrier-added 107,109Cd radionuclides were produced by bombarding natural silver target matrix with 13 MeV protons, which gave ~15 MBq/μA h yield
for nca 107Cd. The nca cadmium radionuclides were separated from the natural silver target matrix by precipitating Ag as AgCl. The developed
method is an example wherein green chemistry is used in trans-disciplinary research. The method is also simple, fast, cost
