A comparative study of different application methods of nematicide 14C-Fosthiazate was done for the uptake in tomato plants in two varieties Pusa Ruby and Pusa Early Dwarf. The application methods used for the research purpose are seed treatment, soil supplication and drip application in presence and absence of surfactant (Tween-80).It as found that percent absorption was the highest in the drip irrigation method in presence of surfactant. The percent uptake of 14C-Fosthiazate in two varieties of tomato plants was found to be higher in Pusa Early Dwarf in all the treatment methods.  相似文献

InI(3) and InBr(3) have been found to be effective catalysts for the π activation of C≡C bonds to initiate the conversion of chiral propargylic alcohols or silyl ethers to polycyclic products in excellent yields and with high stereoselectivity. The method has been applied to the synthesis of chiral fused hexacyclic ring systems with the creation of multiple new stereocenters. Recent theoretical and experimental investigations of the statistical properties of single-mode and two-mode ring lasers are described. A theory of the frequency dependence of laser light fluctuations in a single-mode laser and the photoelectric experiments testing the predictions of this theory are discussed. For the case of two-mode ring lasers, a theoretical discussion of the steady-state and transient properties, such as photon statistics, first-passage-time distributions, correlations and phase locking, is given. Theoretical predictions are compared with the results of photoelectric measurements carried out on two-mode gas and dye ring lasers. A summary and the principal conclusions of this article are presented, and suggestions for further investigations are made.  相似文献

It is shown that the fluctuation properties of certain Zeeman lasers and amplifiers are exhibit a sudden change when the coupling constant ξ is varied near ξ = 1. The possibility of a phase transition at ξ = 1 is discussed and fluctua properties both above and below this point are investigated using some previously derived equations for two-mode lasers.  相似文献

This paper describes the design, fabrication, and characterization of a microfabricated compartmented culture system (micro-CCS) useful for electrophysiological signaling studies in cultured neurons. The focus of the paper is the process of interfacing the micro-CCS with cultured neurons and to demonstrate the applicability of the system for biochemical-mediated electrophysiological studies. Moreover, we show that we can record action potentials from cultured neurons through the extracellular compartmented application of elevated levels of K(+) ions. Finally, we show that we can isolate the electrophysiological effects of the sodium channel blocker tetrodotoxin in one of the compartments of a two compartment culture while recording electrophysiological data from both compartments.  相似文献

Semiconductor nanowires (NWs) are gaining significant importance in various biological applications, such as biosensing and drug delivery. Efficient and controlled immobilization of biomolecules on the NW surface is crucial for many of these applications. Here, we present for the first time the use of the CuI‐catalyzed alkyne–azide cycloaddition and its strain‐promoted variant for the covalent functionalization of vertical NWs with peptides and proteins. The potential of the approach was demonstrated in two complementary applications of measuring enzyme activity and protein binding, which is of general interest for biological studies. The attachment of a peptide substrate provided NW arrays for the detection of protease activity. In addition, green fluorescent protein was immobilized in a site‐specific manner and recognized by antibody binding to demonstrate the proof‐of‐concept for the use of covalently modified NWs for diagnostic purposes using minute amounts of material.  相似文献
