The transient dynamic elastoplastic bending analysis of plates is investigated. Higher-order shear deformation theory is employed for the purpose, so as to have more realistic transverse shear representation. The formulation requires C0 continuity for nodal variables. Isoparametric parabolic finite element discretization is adopted. The yield criteria incorporated are von Mises and Tresca along with associated flow rules. The isotropic hardening is also included. Equations of motion are satisfied at discrete time intervals using direct integration method and central difference scheme. A special mass lumping scheme is adopted. As critical time step is very important in explicit integration scheme, precaution has been taken so as to have the time step smaller than the critical one. Numerical examples are solved and compared with solutions from literature. The formulation is shown to be superior in comparison to previous formulations, being more generic in all respects.  相似文献

A pyrazine bridged ruthenium/palladium bimetallic photocatalyst with peripheral 4,4'-dicarboxyethyl-2,2'-bipyridine ligands, EtOOC-RuPd, is reported, together with its 2,2'-bipyridine analogue. The aim of this investigation is crystal structure determination of an intermetallic phase formed in a W-Ni-Co alloy during a heat-treatment carried out at a temperature of 800°C. This intermetallic phase is expected to play a critical role on the final microstructure (fine tungsten particles in an FCC matrix that is present in between large tungsten grains) and thereby, on the properties of the alloy. 92W-5.3Ni-2.7Co alloy was prepared through powder metallurgy route (liquid phase sintering) followed by heat-treatment at 800°C for 5?h. The intermetallic phase formed at this temperature was characterised using transmission and scanning electron microscopes. The intermetallic phase was found to have orthorhombic crystal structure with Pnam (62) space group as determined using automated diffraction tomography along with precession electron diffraction. Chemical analysis in TEM suggested that the intermetallic phase is based on stoichiometry (Co,Ni)2W. Orientation imaging of the phase was also carried out in TEM and EBSD to understand its evolution. Equiaxed or lath morphology of the intermetallic phase was found to depend on the crystallographic orientation relationship of the phase with the tungsten grains and the matrix phase.  相似文献

A study of the phase and rheological behavior of anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl trioxyethylene sulfate (SDES) and nonionic polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate (Tween-80) with alkanoyl-N-methylethanolamide (C(12), NMEA-12; and C(16), NMEA-16) in aqueous system is presented. Upon addition of NMEA to the semi-dilute solution of SDES or Tween-80, induces micellar growth leading to the formation of a gel-like highly viscoelastic solution in the maximum viscosity region. These solutions obey the Maxwell model of a viscoelastic fluid. It was observed from rheological measurements that NMEA-16 is more effective than NMEA-12 to induce the micellar growth of surfactants. The relationship between the marked changes in viscosity with surfactant-cosurfactant mixing ratio based on the experimental observations is discussed.  相似文献

Formation and rheological behavior of viscoelastic wormlike micelles in aqueous solution of a mixed system of nonionic fluorinated surfactants, perfluoroalkyl sulfonamide ethoxylate, C8F17SO2N(C3H7)(CH2CH2O)nH (abbreviated as C8F17EOn) was studied. In the water-surfactant binary system C8F17EO20 forms an isotropic micellar solution over wide concentration range (>85 wt %) at 25 degrees C. With successive addition of C8F17EO1 to the aqueous C8F17EO20 solution, viscosity of the solution increases swiftly, and a viscoelastic solution is formed. The oscillatory rheological behavior of the viscoelastic solution can be described by Maxwell model at low-frequency region, which is typical of wormlike micelles. With further addition of C8F17EO1, the viscosity decreases after a maximum and phase separation occurs. Addition of a small amount of fluorinated oils to the wormlike micellar solution disrupts the network structure and decreases the viscosity sharply. It is found that polymeric oil, PFP (F-(C3F6O)nCF2CF2COOH), decreases the viscosity more effectively than the perfluorodecalin (PFD). The difference in the effect of oil on rheological properties is explained in terms of the solubilization site of the oils in the hydrophobic interior of the cylindrical aggregates, and their ability to induce rod-sphere transition.  相似文献
