Zusammenfassung Eine genaue Formel wird abgeleitet für die gesamte Scherkraft, die durch impulsive Bewegung einer unendlichen flachen Platte einer zähen, nichtzusammendrückbaren und elektrisch leitenden Flüssigkeit im Bereich eines äusseren Magnetfeldes verursacht wird. Dazu werden Laplace-Transformationen gebraucht. Für die Geschwindigkeitsverteilungen und das Magnetfeld werden die Formeln gefunden. Zwei Fälle werden untersucht: 1. die Platte ist nichtleitend; 2. die Platte ist vollständig leitend. Für lange Zeitent wird die Geschwindigkeitsverteilung als Hartmann-Profil festgestellt.  相似文献

An analytical solution of the heat transfer problem with viscous dissipation for non-Newtonian fluids with power-law model in the thermal entrance region of a circular pipe and two parallel plates under constant heat flux conditions is obtained using eigenvalue approach by suitably replacing one of the boundary conditions by total energy balance equation. Analytical expressions for the wall and the bulk temperatures and the local Nusselt number are presented. The results are in close agreement with those obtained by implicit finite-difference scheme. It is found that the role of viscous dissipation on heat transfer is completely different for heating and cooling conditions at the wall. The results for the case of cooling at the wall are of interest in the design of the oil pipe line.  相似文献

We recently developed a functional neuroimaging technique called encephalographic magnetic resonance imaging (eMRI). Our method acquires rapid single-shot gradient-echo echo-planar MRI (repetition time=47 ms); it attempts to measure an MR signal more directly linked to neuronal electromagnetic activity than existing methods. To increase the likelihood of detecting such an MR signal, we recorded concurrent MRI and scalp electroencephalography (EEG) during fast (20-200 ms), localized, high-amplitude (>50 μV on EEG) cortical discharges in a cohort of focal epilepsy patients. Seen on EEG as interictal spikes, these discharges occur in between seizures and induced easily detectable MR magnitude and phase changes concurrent with the spikes with a lag of milliseconds to tens of milliseconds. Due to the time scale of the responses, localized changes in blood flow or hemoglobin oxygenation are unlikely to cause the MR signal changes that we observed. While the precise underlying mechanisms are unclear, in this study, we empirically investigate one potentially important confounding variable — motion. Head motion in the scanner affects both EEG and MR recording. It can produce brief “spike-like” artifacts on EEG and induce large MR signal changes similar to our interictal spike-related signal changes. In order to explore the possibility that interictal spikes were associated with head motions (although such an association had never been reported), we had previously tracked head position in epilepsy patients during interictal spikes and explicitly demonstrated a lack of associated head motion. However, that study was performed outside the MR scanner, and the root-mean-square error in the head position measurement was 0.7 mm. The large inaccuracy in this measurement therefore did not definitively rule out motion as a possible signal generator. In this study, we instructed healthy subjects to make deliberate brief (<500 ms) head motions inside the MR scanner and imaged these head motions with concurrent EEG and MRI. We compared these artifactual MR and EEG data to genuine interictal spikes. While per-voxel MR and per-electrode EEG time courses for the motion case can mimic the corresponding time courses associated with a genuine interictal spike, head motion can be unambiguously differentiated from interictal spikes via scalp EEG potential maps. Motion induces widespread changes in scalp potential, whereas interictal spikes are localized and have a regional fall-off in amplitude. These findings make bulk head motion an unlikely generator of the large spike-related MR signal changes that we had observed. Further work is required to precisely identify the underlying mechanisms.  相似文献

CoNiFe alloy thin films deposited at various cobalt concentrations were galvanostatically electrodeposited on the pre-cleaned copper substrates. The effects of cobalt concentration on the structural, compositional, morphological, and magnetic properties of the films were investigated. X-ray diffraction patterns revealed that the deposited films possess polycrystalline in nature with mixed (fcc–bcc) cubic structure at optimized cobalt concentration. Microstructural properties of the films were calculated from predominant diffraction lines. The surface morphology and surface roughness were characterized using scanning electron microscopy and atomic force microscopy, respectively. EDAX results were revealed that the cobalt content increases as nickel content decreases whereas ferrous content initially increases and then eventually decreases in the CoNiFe alloy. VSM results show a higher value of saturation magnetization (4πM s) above 2 T with coercivity 154 A/m for films deposited in the optimized deposition condition.  相似文献

A novel and facile approach has been developed to synthesize thin films of magnetite (Fe(3)O(4)) with epitaxial needle-like columnar grains on titanium nitride (TiN) buffered substrate using DC magnetron reactive sputtering. TiN buffer layer was first sputtered onto a substrate at 550 °C as a preferable substrate for growth following sputtering of epitaxial crystalline Fe(3)O(4) at 300 °C. The as-synthesized epitaxial Fe(3)O(4) was extensively characterized. The electrocatalytic activity of the epitaxial Fe(3)O(4) thin-film sensor against hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)) reduction was rapid with a response time less than 5 s. The sensor also exhibited an acceptable stability, a satisfying sensitivity of 432.2 μA mM(-1) cm(-2), good specificity to the substrate, a dynamic working range of up to 0.7 mM and a low detection limit of 1.0 μM. The sensor performance correlated well (R(2)=0.996) with results obtained using a commercial HPLC-UV device. The sensor performance was robust and accurate in measuring H(2)O(2) in some complex matrices. The advantages of relative simplicity and ease of mass production make the epitaxial Fe(3)O(4) thin film promising candidate for use in sensing applications.  相似文献

ABSTRACT

The indentation of a metal specimen by a narrow-angle wedge produces extreme plastic deformation, with an effect akin to cutting into the metal. Simulation of such processes is challenging, and complicated by the need to model material separation along the indentation symmetry axis. Here we use an Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) framework to enforce the symmetry boundary conditions (bcs) in their original, `strong’ form, as well as conventional Lagrangian FE to impose the bcs in a complementary, `weak’ form. Taken together these two cases, representing perfectly strong and perfectly weak interfaces, produce accurate bounds on the mechanical response for indentation by wedges with semi-apical angles as small as 15 degrees, and encompass intermediate cases that would require complicated models of ductile failure. The method accurately predicts the transition from the cutting pattern to the non-cutting (radially compressive) pattern as the apical angle is increased. In combination with Lagrangian particle tracking, the simulations reveal the deformation pattern as well as strain, strain-rate, and velocity fields in narrow angle indentation at high resolution. Interestingly, the strong form predicts a thin (tens of microns), near-wall layer of intense plastic strain, which has been observed recently in indentation experiments. With the exception of this feature, the strong and weak bc solutions are quite similar. The present approach reveals insights about plastic flow past narrow obstacles in a range of related problems including cone penetration and machining, and suggests using narrow-angle indentation as a way to probe material failure.  相似文献

Commercially available diphtheria toxin was immobilized on nylon stocking material by a covalent activation of the polymeric material. Toxin was bound both directly to nylon as well as to nylon-polyethyleneimine copolymer. The immobilized toxin retained some of its catalytic activity as evidenced by ADP-ribosylation of elongation factor II. Kinetics of this reaction are reported. After repeated use for several times the immobilized toxin retains 75% of its activity.  相似文献

Toward direct observation of benzdiynes, we investigated the wavelength-selective photolyses of five kinds of benzenetetracarboxylic dianhydride derivatives in nitrogen matrixes at 13 K. In the first step of the photolyses, all dianhydrides were converted into benzynedicarboxylic anhydrides with loss of CO and CO2 upon irradiation at 308 nm. In the second step, the benzyne intermediates were photolyzed at 266 nm. In these photolyses, the generation of two kinds of benzdiynes, 3,6-difluoro-1,4-benzdiyne and 3,6-bis(trifluoromethyl)-1,4-benzdiyne, was confirmed by good correspondence between observed and calculated IR spectra. These benzdiynes were converted into the corresponding hexatriynes upon further irradiation at 266 nm. Benzdiynes were not observed in the photolyses of the other three dianhydrides: only hexatriynes were observed as major photoproducts. These results suggested that benzdiynes were generated first and then converted into hexatriynes and that the efficiency of the decomposition of benzdiynes depended on the substituents. The dynamics of the generation and decomposition of benzdiynes in the matrixes was analyzed by using a successive reaction scheme.  相似文献

A multi-pyrazolyl cyclotriphosphazene containing polymerizable group N(3)P(3)(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(5)(O-C(6)H(4)-p-C(6)H(4)-p-CH=CH(2)) (2) has been prepared from the corresponding chloro derivative N(3)P(3)Cl(5)(O-C(6)H(4)-p-C(6)H(4)-p-CH=CH(2)) (1). The X-ray structures of 1 and 2 have been determined. Compound 2 undergoes ready metalation with CuCl(2) to afford N(3)P(3)(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(5)(O-C(6)H(4)-p-C(6)H(4)-p-CH=CH(2)).CuCl(2) (3). Model compound N(3)P(3)(3,5-Me(2)Pz)(5)(O-C(6)H(4)-p-CHO).CuCl(2) (6) has been prepared and characterized by spectroscopy and X-ray crystallography. In this compound, the coordination around copper is distorted trigonal bipyramidal, and the cyclotriphosphazene coordinates in a non-gem N(3) mode. Compound 2 has been copolymerized with divinylbenzene to afford cross-linked multisite coordinating polymer CPPL which is readily metalated with CuCl(2) to afford copper-containing polymer CPPL-Cu. The coordination environment around copper in CPPL-Cu has been evaluated by obtaining its EPR, optical, and IR spectra and comparing them with those of model compounds 3 and 6. The utility of CPPL-Cu as a heterogeneous catalyst has been demonstrated in the phosphate ester hydrolysis involving three model phosphate esters: p-nitrophenyl phosphate (pNPP), bis(p-nitrophenyl) phosphate (bNPP), and 2-(hydroxypropyl)-p-nitrophenyl phosphate (hNPP). In all of these reactions, a significant rate enhancement of ester hydrolysis is observed. Detailed kinetic analyses to evaluate Michaelis-Menten parameters have also been carried out along with experiments to elucidate the effect of pH, solvent, and temperature on the rate of hydrolysis. Recycling experiments on the hydrolysis of pNPP with CPPL-Cu shows that it can be recycled several times over without affecting the rates.  相似文献
