The applicability of a new leaching method, the HSS (H2O2-Na2SO4-H2SO4) system, in the extraction of uranium from Saricaolu-Bergama Region low grade ore, and the efficiency of Acigol Lake (Denizli)-Turkey water as a natural source of Na2SO4 has been investigated. The effect of H2SO4 concentration, temperature, leaching time, H2O2 and Na2SO4 concentrations and the amount of Acigol Lake water on the extraction of uranium was examined. HSS was found suitable for the extraction of uranium from Saricaolu-Bergama Region samples and it was observed that the acid consumption could be decreased by adding Na2SO4. 相似文献

The kinetics of the acid catalyzed hydrolysis of 2-aminoethanethiolsulfate (AETS) ions were investigated. The dependence of the hydrolysis rate constant on acidity and temperature was determined. The hydrolysis rate equation can be expressed as where Ho is the Hammett acidity function. The rate constant, k, can be expressed as The pKa's for the compound were measured and literature value of pKa was found to be in error. The values determined in this study are pKa1 < ?0.5 and pKa2 = 9.1 ± 0.1. Two analytical shape functions representing the shapes of - and characteristic X-ray photopeak sides obtained with a Ge(Li) detector are described. The photopeak centroid is accurately determined by using these functions. Energy dependence of photopeak tailing at the lower energy side of the photopeaks are obtained by the least-squares fitting method. The hydrogenation of benzene on platinum electrodes in 0.5 M sulfuric acid as supporting electrolyte has been studied in the presence and the absence of samarium in solution. The hydrogenation overpotential of preadsorbed benzene was diminished to 90 mV with samarium in the solution and the hydrogenation current was significatively increased. These results are interpreted in terms of a synergic effect of samarium on hydrogen adsorption and, consequently, on the electrocatalytic activity of the platinum electrode for the hydrogenation of benzene. 相似文献

An impedance analyzer method is employed to simulate the oscillation frequency of a series piezoelectric quartz crystal (SPQC) in electrolyte or non-electrolyte solutions. The influence of the oscillator phase on the oscillation frequency and response sensitivity are theoretically derived and experimentally verified. In non-electrolyte liquids, the oscillator phase has little effect on both the oscillation frequency and the response to the permittivity. But in electrolyte solutions, the oscillator phase has a significant influence on the oscillation frequency and the response sensitivity to the conductivity. Depending on the oscillator phase, the oscillation frequency of the SPQC may increase, be maintained or decrease with increasing conductivity in low or high conductive solutions. The dependence of the oscillation frequency of the SPQC on the supply voltage is explained. As an example of the applications, the SPQC is applied to the determination of the critical micelle concentration of ionic surfactants in aqueous solutions. 相似文献
