Two new flavonoids were isolated from the flowers of Punica granatum Linn. (Punicaceae) along with the known compounds ellagic acid, gallic acid, sucrose, and gallic acid glycoside. The structures of the new flavonoids have been characterized as 5,6,7,8,2′,3′,5′-heptahydroxy-4′-methoxyflavanone (punicaflavanol) and 5,6,7,8,2′,5′-hexahydroxy-4′-methoxyflavanone-7-β-D-xylopyranoside (granatumflavanyl xyloside) on the basis of spectral data analyses and chemical reactions.  相似文献

Rapid liquid chromatographic procedures for analytical quality control of pharmaceutical preparations and human serum containing antihistamine drugs, meclizine and buclizine alone or in combination with pyridoxine are proposed, using acetonitrile:water (80:20) as a mobile phase (pH adjusted to 2.6), methylparaben as internal standard and UV detection was made at 230 nm. The results obtained showed a good agreement with the declared content. The method shows good linearity in the range of 30–10,000 ng mL?1 for pyridoxine and 25–10,000 ng mL?1 for meclizine and buclizine serum concentrations with a correlation coefficient 0.9999 (inter- and intra-day CV < 3.91%). The recovery was >97.8%. The proposed method may be used for the quantitative analysis of meclizine and buclizine alone or in combination with pyridoxine from raw materials, in bulk drugs, dosage formulations and in serum.  相似文献

A multispecies magnetized collisional nonthermal plasma system, containing inertial ion species, noninertial electron species following nonthermal -distribution, and immobile dust particles, is considered to examine the characteristics of the dissipative dust-ion-acoustic soliton modes, theoretically and parametrically. The electrostatic solitary modes are found to be associated with the low-frequency dissipative dust-ion-acoustic solitary waves (DIASWs). The ion-neutral collision is taken into account, and the influence of ion-neutral collisional effects on the dynamics of dissipative DIASWs is investigated. It is reported that most of the plasma medium in space and laboratory are far from thermal equilibrium, and the particles in such plasma system are well fitted via the -nonthermal distribution than via the thermal Maxwellian distribution. The reductive perturbation approach is adopted to derive the damped KdV (dKdV) equation, and the solitary wave solution of the dKdV equation is derived via the tangent hyperbolic method to analyse the basic features (amplitude, width, speed, time evolution, etc.) of dissipative DIASWs. The propagation nature and also the basic features of dissipative DIASWs are seen to influence significantly due to the variation of the plasma configuration parameters and also due to the variation of the supethermality index in the considered plasma system. The implication of the results of this study could be useful for better understanding the electrostatic localized disturbances, in the ion length and time scale, in space and experimental dusty plasmas, where the presence of excess energetic electrons and ion-neutral collisional damping are accountable.  相似文献

Fruits and vegetables are important components of a healthy diet. They are rich sources of vitamins and minerals, dietary fibre and a host of beneficial non-nutrient substances including plant sterols, flavonoids and other antioxidants. It has been reported that reduced intake of fruits and vegetables may increase the risk of non-communicable diseases (NCDs). Chili pepper, is a common and important spice used to enhance taste and nutrition. Over the years, reports have shown its potential as antioxidant and an anti-obesity agent. Obesity is a serious health concern as it may initiate other common chronic diseases. Due to the side effects of synthetic antioxidants and anti-obesity drugs, scientists are now focusing on natural products which produce similar effects to synthetic chemicals. This up-to-date review addresses this research gap and presents, in an accessible format, the nutritional, antioxidant and anti-obesity properties of different chili peppers. This review article serves as a reference guide for use of chili peppers as anti-obesity agents.  相似文献

A simple ultraviolet spectrophotometric method for the determination of simvastatin in methanol has been devised and compared with the existing pharmacopoeial RP-HPLC method for the estimation of the drug. Analytical parameters such as stability, selectivity, accuracy, and precision have been established for the method, using SIMS® tablets and human serum samples, and evaluated statistically to assess the application of the method. The method was validated under ICH and USP guidelines and was found to comprise the advantages for simplicity, stability, sensitivity, reproducibility, and accuracy for use as an alternative to existing nonspectrophotometric methods for the routine determination of the drug in pharmaceutical formulations and for pharmaceutical investigations involving simvastatin.  相似文献

We apply the null-geodesic method to investigate tunneling radiation of charged and magnetized massive particles from Taub-NUT-Reissner-Nordström black holes endowed with electric as well as magnetic charges in Anti-de Sitter (AdS) spaces. The geodesics of charged massive particle tunneling from the black hole is not lightlike, but can be determined by the phase velocity. We find that the tunneling rate is related to the difference of Bekenstein-Hawking entropies of the black hole before and after the emission of particles. The entropy differs from just a quarter area at the horizon of black holes with NUT parameter. The emission spectrum is not precisely thermal anymore and the deviation from the precisely thermal spectrum can bring some information out, which can be treated as an explanation to the information loss paradox. The result can also be treated as a quantum-corrected radiation temperature, which is dependent on the black hole background and the radiation particle’s energy and charges.  相似文献

The direct catalytic esterification of amides that leads to the construction of C−O bonds through the cleavage of amide C−N bonds is a highly attractive strategy in organic synthesis. While aliphatic and aromatic alcohols can be readily used for the alcoholysis of activated and unactivated amides, the introduction of phenols is more challenging due to their lower nucleophilicity in the phenolysis of unactivated amides. Herein, we demonstrate that phenols can be used for the phenolysis of unactivated amides into the corresponding phenolic esters using a simple heterogenous catalytic system based on CeO2 under additive-free reaction conditions. The method tolerates a broad variety of functional groups (>50 examples) in the substrates. Results of kinetic studies afforded mechanistic insights into the principles governing this reaction, suggesting that the cooperative effects of the acid–base functions of catalysts would be of paramount importance for the efficient progression of the C−N bond breaking process, and consequently, CeO2 showed the best catalytic performance among the catalysts explored.  相似文献

Human fall identification can play a significant role in generating sensor based alarm systems, assisting physical therapists not only to reduce after fall effects but also to save human lives. Usually, elderly people suffer from various kinds of diseases and fall action is a very frequently occurring circumstance at this time for them. In this regard, this paper represents an architecture to classify fall events from others indoor natural activities of human beings. Video frame generator is applied to extract frame from video clips. Initially, a two dimensional convolutional neural network (2DCNN) model is proposed to extract features from video frames. Afterward, gated recurrent unit (GRU) network finds the temporal dependency of human movement. Binary cross-entropy loss function is calculated to update the attributes of the network like weights, learning rate to minimize the losses. Finally, sigmoid classifier is used for binary classification to detect human fall events. Experimental result shows that the proposed model obtains an accuracy of 99%, which outperforms other state-of-the-art models.  相似文献
