The solvent extraction behavior of radioiodine at tracer concentration was studied by varying the pH of the tracer solution in order to gain deeper insight into the anomalous behavior of radioiodine at low concentrations. The anomalous behavior of radioiodine was observed with all the tracer solutions because of the existence of radioiodine complex in the tracer solution. The observed anomalous behavior of radioiodine was consistently explained by the comprehensive extraction mechanism.  相似文献

A method for the isolation of bio-active primary fatty acid amides (PFAM's) from total lipid extract by solid-phase extraction (SPE) was developed and validated. The lowest mass of amide to be loaded and recovered by this method was detected as 0.5 microg using 500 mg of normal phase adsorbent. The isolated PFAM's were separated and quantified by GC/MS and percent recoveries were calculated. An HP-5MS column was able to provide base line separation between the saturated and unsaturated PFAM's whereas clear resolution between geometric and positional isomers having the same number of carbons was obtained using a BPX70 column. The separated amides were all 18 carbon analogs of cis-9-octadecenoamide (oleamide). Detection limits in the single ion monitoring mode were found to be on the order of 10 pg in a 1 microl injection. Solid phase extraction of amides from total lipid extract before GC/MS analysis provides clean detection and interference free analysis.  相似文献

We measure the mass of the eta;{'} meson using psi(2S)-->pi;{+}pi;{-}J/psi, J/psi-->gammaeta;{'} events acquired with the CLEO-c detector operating at the CESR e;{+}e;{-} collider. Using three decay modes, eta;{'}-->rho;{0}gamma, eta;{'}-->pi;{+}pi;{-}eta with eta-->gammagamma, and eta;{'}-->pi;{+}pi;{-}eta with eta-->pi;{+}pi;{-}pi;{0}, we find M_{eta;{'}}=957.793+/-0.054+/-0.036 MeV, in which the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. This result is consistent with but substantially more precise than the current world average.  相似文献

The formation of dust-ion-acoustic solitary waves (DIASWs), and their basic properties in a magnetized dusty plasma system containing inertial, hot positively and negatively charged ion fluids, κ-distributed superthermal electrons, and negatively charged stationary dust species are investigated theoretically. An ambient magnetic field is assumed along z-direction, and the wave propagation is considered obliquely to the direction of that ambient magnetic field. Two types of modes, the fast and the slow modes, are shown to exist in the linear regime. The reductive perturbation method (which is valid for small but finite amplitude DIASWs) as well as pseudo-potential approach (which is valid for arbitrary amplitude DIASWs) are employed to identify the basic properties of the DIASWs. The effects of key plasma composition parameters, namely the superthermality effect of electrons, the temperature of positive and negative ions, the number density of positive and negative ions, on the dynamics of small amplitude as well as on large amplitude DIASWs, are investigated. The influence of the obliquity parameter and the magnetic field on the propagation characteristics of DIASWs are also examined.  相似文献

The oblique propagation of ion-acoustic solitary waves (IASWs) is considered, in a magnetized non-thermal collisional dusty plasma, composed of non-Maxwelian κ-distributed electrons, inertial ions, and stationary dust. The reductive perturbation approach is adopted to derive the damped Korteweg de-Vries (dKdV) equation, and the dissipative oblique ion-acoustic wave properties are investigated in terms of different key plasma parameters via the numerical solution of the dKdV equation. The collisional effect, describing the ion-neutral collision in the plasma, is taken into account, and seen to influence the dynamics of IASWs significantly. The basic features of IASWs are observed to modify, and the polarity of the wave is seen to change due to the variation of dust to that of ion number density and also due to the variation of the supethermality index κ in the considered plasma system.  相似文献

Semi-relativistic approach is employed to compute the differential and integrated cross sections, spin polarizationP and the spin polarization parametersT andU for the scattering of electrons from barium and strontium atoms in the energy range from 2.0–300 eV. The projectile-target interaction is represented both by real and complex optical potential in the solution of Dirac equation for the scattered electrons. The real optical potential includes the static, a parameter free correlation polarization and a modified semi classical exchange potentials. The effect of pH on the percent extraction of vanadium(V), iron(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II), copper(II), molybdenum(VI), tungsten(VI) and uranium(VI) by -benzoinoxime in different solvents has been studied. The maximum recovery is not appreciably affected by the nature of the solvent, but occurs at different pH values for different metals. The pH corresponding to maximum extraction increases with increasing hydrolysis pK of the species in aqueous solution, and decreases with increasing stability constant of the complexes formed. Alpha-benzoinoxime allows the separation of these metal ions into three groups: V(V), Mo(VI) and W(VI) are extracted at pH=2, U(VI) at pH=5, Fe(II), Cu(II), Co(II) and Ni(II) at around pH=10.  相似文献
