This study reports the 3 new phthalonitrile derivatives, namely 4, 5 Bis-[4-(4-bromophenoxy) phenoxy] phthalonitrile ( 1 ), 4,5 Bis-[4-(4-chlorophenoxy) phenoxy]phthalonitrile ( 2 ), and 4, 5 Bis[4-(4-fluorophenoxy) phenoxy] phthalonitrile ( 3 ). Their octa-substituted zinc phthalocyanines ( 4 , 5 , 6 ) are reported for the first time in this study. The resulting compounds were characterized by utilizing some spectroscopic methods, such as UV-Vis, 1HNMR, FT-IR spectroscopy, as well as mass spectraand elemental analysis. To show photosynthesizer’s potential, emission (F F ), singlet oxygen (1O2), and photodegradation quantum yields (F∆, Fd) of octa-peripherally phthalocyanines (Pcs) were performed in the solutions, such as biocompatible solvent DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide) as well as DMF (dimethylformamide) and THF (tetrahydrofuran). Solvent and octa-peripherally binding effect of the halogen (Br, Cl, F) terminated phenoxy-phenoxy groups on phthalocyanine rings for photophysicochemical properties ( 4 , 5 , and 6 ) were compared with the tetra-peripherally and tetra nonperipherally substituted derivatives. The new dyes ( 4 to 6 ) may be evaluated in photodynamic therapy (PDT) of cancer as photosensitizers due to efficient 1O2 from 0.55 to 0.75. 相似文献

Liquid droplet impacts onto solid surfaces have attracted enormous amount of attention from wide range of research fields including experimental and numerical investigations. Unlike experimental efforts, numerical and analytical studies generated various sets of data. In this study, we investigated the spreading velocities inside the water droplets impinging onto a dry glass substrate using time-resolved PIV. The method, together with the high spatiotemporal resolution and the additional treatments improving the robustness, allowed us to resolve the radial velocity profiles efficiently in the spreading phase. Several impact velocity cases ranging from 0.40 to 0.96 m/s were studied. They correspond to low and moderate level Weber numbers (4.9–27.6). We observed that instantaneous radial velocity distributions exhibit linear and nonlinear modes. The nonlinearity is caused by the vortical flows formed at outer regions of the spreading liquid lamella. We demonstrated that even at low impact velocities the linear parts of the profiles obey a quasi-one-dimensional theory proposed in the literature. The comparison of obtained results with a literature-based numerical study, performed for high range of Weber numbers, confirmed the simultaneous existence of linear and nonlinear parts in the radial velocity profiles. In spite of the scale differences in terms of Weber number, the agreements in the tendencies of the profiles imply the validity of the mechanism considered in the numerical study even at low and moderate level range of Weber numbers. 相似文献

A novel hydrogel based on poly(sulfopropylmethacrylate) (p(SPM) with different crosslinking degrees was synthesized and characterized. The prepared hydrogels were for the first time, utilized for in situ metal nanoparticle preparation such as Ni, Co, and Cu and employed as a reaction media in catalytic reduction of 4-nitrophenol (4-NP), and 2-nitrophenol (2-NP) to 4-aminophenol and 2-aminophenol, respectively. The experimental parameters that effect reduction rates such as temperature and the amount of catalyst were investigated. The kinetics of the reduction reaction of nitro compounds under different reaction conditions were investigated to determine the activation parameter. Activation energies were found as 33.86 kJ mol? 1 and 24.96 kJ mol? 1 for 4-NP and 2-NP, respectively. It was found that hydrogel–Cu composites can provide 98% activity even at the end of the 7th repetitive usage. 相似文献
