A new chemiluminescence method for the determination of carbamazepine (CBZ) has been developed. The method is based on the chemiluminescence produced in the reaction of tris(2,2'-bipyridine)ruthenium(III) and CBZ in an acidic medium. The chemiluminescence intensity was enhanced by organic solvents in the reaction system. Under the optimum experimental conditions, the calibration curve was linear over the range 4.0 x 10(-3)-8.6 x 10(-7) mol/L for CBZ. The detection limit (S/N = 3) was 2.5 x 10(-7) mol/L and the relative standard deviation of six replicate measurements was 2.6% for 4.0 x 10(-4) mol/L of CBZ. The possible reaction mechanism were also discussed. The chemiluminescence method was successfully applied to assay the CBZ contents in pharmaceutical tablets. 相似文献

The insoluble resins synthesized by attaching imidazoles to poly(chloromethylstyrene-co-divinylbenzene) effectively hydrolyzed albumin with half-life as short as 20 min at pH 7 and 25 degrees C. Thus, peptide hydrolysis was accomplished with imidazole in an artificial system for the first time. The imidazole-based artificial proteinases manifested optimum activity at pH 7-8. The proteolytic activity of the imidazole-based artificial proteinases exceeded that of previously reported organic artificial proteinases including catalytic antibodies. High proteolytic activity was observed when imidazole was attached to the resin through the C-2 atom instead of the N atom. The catalytic activity was greatly reduced when the content of imidazole was lowered. This indicates catalytic cooperation of at least two proximal imidazole moieties attached to the resin. Possible mechanisms for the effective protein hydrolysis by the proximal imidazoles are presented. 相似文献

We have investigated the optical properties of AlxGa1-xN/GaN heterostructures (x=0.08, 0.15, 0.33) grown by metal organic chemical vapor deposition on sapphire using photoluminescence
(PL) and persistent photoconductivity (PPC) measurements. For the AlxGa1-xN/GaN heterostructures (HS) containing high Al composition, we observed an anomalous temperature-dependent photoluminescence
and persistent photoconductivity effects. These results show a strong dependence of the physical properties of AlxGa1-xN/GaN HS on the Al content and layer thickness. The anomalous temperature-dependent PL is usually attributed to the presence
of carrier localization states. These phenomena are explained based on the alloy compositional fluctuations in the AlxGa1-xN/GaN HS. From the PPC measurements, the photocurrent (PC) quenching was observed for AlxGa1-xN/GaN HS and it is explained by the metastable states formed in the underlying GaN layer. PC quenching and PPC phenomena are explained in detail.

The gas-phase growth and optical characteristics of 1-dimensional ZnO nanostructure have been investigated. The ZnO nanowires (NWs) were grown vertically on Au coated silicon substrates by vapor-liquid-solid (VLS) growth mechanism using chemical vapor deposition (CVD). The ZnO NWs were grown in the crystal direction of [0 0 0 1]. The ZnO NWs exhibit the uniform size of less than 100 nm in diameter and up to 5 μm in length. Photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of ZnO NWs shows the strong band-edge emission at ∼380 nm (∼3.27 eV) without significant deep-level defect emission. The exciton lifetime of ZnO NWs was measured to be approximately 150 ± 10 ps. 相似文献

The possibility that nonsupersymmetric conformal field theories softly broken below 100 TeV may provide an alternative to conventional grand unification is explored. We consider a low energy theory presumed to be of this type arising from the type IIB superstring compactified on a AdS5×S5/Γ space whose gauge group and the particle content are severely restricted by the compactification process. We present an example of a resulting SU(4)C×SU(2)L×SU(2)R with three generations, which leads to coupling unification and a prediction for sin2θW0.227 and other phenomenology generally consistent with observations. 相似文献

The hydrophilic oxygen atoms of polyethylenoxide chains inserted as pillars in gamma-zirconium phosphate form hydrogen bonds with the acid groups of the host. As a result the pillars are almost perpendicular to the gamma layers. Upon changing the pH level of the supernatant solution the hydrogen bonds are broken and the pillars become almost perpendicular to the layers (shown schematically). The viscosity of PEG-modified urethane acrylate (PMUA) showed peculiar behavior in the course of soap-free emulsification. Moreover, the viscosity change with added amounts of water was influenced by the reaction molar ratio of polyethylene glycol (PEG). The rate of increase in viscosity slowed and the ratio of increase in viscosity increased as the reaction molar ratio of PEG increased. This peculiar viscosity behavior was due to the microphase separation between hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments of PMUA, and the orientation of polyoxyethylene groups at O/W interface which influenced droplet size of the soap-free PMUA emulsion. The location of polyoxyethylene groups of this resin at O/W interface was confirmed using the adsorption isotherm measurement of PMUA molecules containing polyoxyethylene groups at water/benzene interface. The microphase separation behavior of PMUA between hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments could apply to the preparation of the PMUA gels containing peculiar structure. PMUA gels were prepared using dioxane (UAG) and the swelling behavior of these gels were compared to that of gels prepared using water (UAHG) in the same medium. In the same medium, the swelling behavior of UAHG gels differed from that of UAG gels because of the difference in the microstructure of gel due to the microphase separation between hydrophilic and hydrophobic segments. This phase separation in the course of gelation in water could be confirmed using contact angle measurement. 相似文献
